Awesome local food....decent prices. The sea breeze is just amazing when you're sitting facing the beach. The only mood killer is when the band comes nearby and play their local music... Holy hell they're loud and then can go on non stop throughout your whole meal. It's local music, so local that some tourist don't know how to appreciate and when that happens, it becomes noise... if they tried mixing some mainstream music it would've been okay. but back to the food... A MUST TRY!!! We went twice throughout our stay nearby.

Pancho's is a beautiful waterfront eatery. The fresh seafood is out of this world. Mango margaritas are exceptional and the atmosphere is loud and lively. The only true downfall is many if the staff speak limited English and while i know limited Spanish and we can make it work... I k ow it is frustrating for them as well as us. Please Do NOT let that deter you from visiting this restaurant... it is a wonderful local eatery

Great view. Great service. Great breakfast. Great price. Truly enjoyed my Athlete omelette. Homemade 3 types of hot sauce made breakfast even more delicious. Took a nice long walk on the beach afterwards. I was happy 😎

10/10!!! Fantastic location, friendly staff, and incredibly delicious food. There isn't a thing I didn't like about this restaurant! We had to wait a little while to sit down, but it was well worth it! I got the kabobs with roasted potato and vegetables; it was a wonderful meal for a very affordable price. The amount and quality of food you get makes it seem like a steal! While having dinner, we could see the beautiful sunset from our table. Just a stunning location with a wonderful atmosphere. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

My first night back to a favourite place that is still turning out amazing food, after decades of service - a real testatment to their merit. I’m in love with the coconut shrimp served with mango sauce and rice. The sound and view of the ocean as one dines is a really fantastic. The chef-inspired desserts are out of this world! The servers are extremely attentive to one’s needs. Very impressive establishment!

This is the BEACH location. The food, the atmosphere & and employees were so great! They definitely made our meal so memorable. Thank You

Our favorite place to eat!! Everything is great!!! They gave us free shots and a Kahlua after dinner. And before dinner they give u free chips and salsa , guacamole, with peppers stuffed with cheese and bacon!!!!! Also you can walk down to the beach 🏖️ so awesome!!!

Pancho's by the sea offers a nice view of the city's beach front shore. It was quite humid and uncomfortable, and since it was open air, the fans did very little to stop the sweat fest! The complimentary stuffed peppers were tasty, and my beer was ice cold. I ordered a whole Red Snapper and my girlfriend, the grilled flap meat. Both were excellent. The service was top-notch, although the service time was longer than the normal wait. I think maybe cuz I was melting down. It was only as we were leaving that I discovered another room upstairs fully air-conditioned 😒. Oh well, next time. Happy dining!

100% recommend this restaurant in Mazatlan! Pancho's by the sea offers a nice view of the city's beach front shore. Great selection of breakfast items. They started us out with large cups of smooth coffee and breakfast pastries for the table. The environment was splendid and the staff was very attentive. And there are a bunch of great shops to look around in while you wait. It is a busy place.

My friends and I came here on our first night in Mazatlan since it was near our hotel and it was the best decision! We didn't have any reservations but got seated right away on the outside patio, with the view of the beach (though it was dark since we came at night). Regardless, the staff were so friendly and attentive. I ordered the steak and it was so tender and juicy, and the sauce was amazing. I also ordered a pina colada and the portion sizes here were huge and the drink was very tasty. It was with complimentary chips and salsa which I appreciated, but the main course came relatively quickly after placing our orders. At the end of the meal, we got complimentary iced kahlua shots which was also really nice. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!

Quick service, fun staff and atmosphere. Nice view. The fish ceviche was delicious and fresh. The chips are fresh cooked and yummy!! We are on a cruise and had this recommended to us by passengers who have been here before, happy we went!

The staff is very friendly and took time up explain how certain dishes were prepared ! My husband and I ate there 3 different time .. good food, big portions and great prices ..the restaurant is clean and was decorated for the holiday .. season !!

Came here for brunch after getting dropped off from our cruise. Completely forgot what I ordered since I forgot to take a picture of the menu. It had like a crispy pork pieces which were pretty good. Also had some other meat that was seasoned pretty well. I liked the tortilla chips since they were crunchy and went well with the sauce on top.

Love Miguel & Daniel, they definitely showed us a real experience here, and so the rest of the staffs. They were reluctant to see us with my service dog, but as it went by, people warmed up! We came 3 times for dinners! Fantastic Spiny Lobster, a local delicacy, not cheap, but all worth it! They split half and grilled it! Love their fresh guacamole, chip and salsa. The best margarita I have tried here the last 8 days! GIGANTIC portion about $160 pesos (before tips), my hubby and I were tipsy by the second one :-) Fresh fish, sea bass ceviche, and coconut shrimp were all fantastic dishes! Gorgeous view, and live music nightly! 3 minutes walk from Courtyard Marriott 5 stars resort!

A great spot to eat on the beach. It's a lively yet relaxing place right on the beach with great service and good food. The shrimp molcajete was 10/10!

What a great place to eat and very affordable. We were able to sit with a view of the ocean and listen to a violinist. There were 9 of us and everyone's meal was delicious! We had steak, lobster, shrimp and even chicken Alfredo for the kids. Their bacon wrapped shrimp and garlic shrimp were my favorites. Great margaritas too! The service was exceptional.

The service is above and beyond! You are made to feel so welcome and the chips, salsa and appetizers are excellent. The choices on the menu would take a month to enjoy. What we had was just so delicious with so so much more than we expected. You have to experience the house tequila shots - so perfectly smooth. Everything about Panchos is absolutely amazing and more than what we expected. Thank you to the wonderful staff that made us feel so welcome!! Being on the beach is an added bonus to it all. Cannot wait to come back!!!!!

Great vibes! Sat steps away from the beach. Wonderful service. Resporado maragarita was made table side. Fish Ceviche was fresh. Guacamole was good - just needed a little more lime.

What a wonderful experience we had at Panchos. We came across Panchos for lunch when our cruise ship excursion bus dropped us off down the street. My wife is allergic to spicy peppers, chili, etc, and the Panchos staff were very accommodating and able to make her fresh guacamole, Pico de Gallo, and shrimp tacos without peppers! We've been to so many Mexican restaurants in the USA that are unable to make that happen, that it was a pleasant surprise when Panchos could! I had the garlic shrimp platter, and it was delicious. Also, their roasted salsa is excellent and full of flavor with the perfect amount of heat. To top off, Pancho's location is ideally located on the beach near shopping and a quick walk from nearby resorts and hotels. There is plenty of shade, and we had a nice breeze, so we never felt uncomfortable. Thank you again Panchos for giving my wife an authentic Mexican food experience for the first time in her life!

If you are in Mazatlan you have to check out Panchos. The dining is an entire experience! They made our margaritas (the best I had on my trip) right in front of you. During our meal they served us a shot or mezcal. To end our dinner we ordered an after dinner drink in which they again made at our table using fire! The restaurant was cozy and not to mention had an ocean view!

I absolutely adore this place. There are two locations. This one is Panchos on the beach. We sat upstairs and got to enjoy the amazing view of the sunset over the ocean. We had the complimentary pico and salsa with chips. Service is amazing. They are attentive and quick to take your order and clean up. I ordered shrimp fajitas. They were sizzling hot and delicious. Took them to go as there was so much shrimp. We also had bbq ribs and coconut shrimp. Great price for an amazing meal. Corks with veggies and rice as well. And our other party ordered the garlic shrimps. Also comes with veggies and rice. At the end of your meal they serve you baileys over ice and a shot of moonshine. This place does food and ambiance right. It's always busy so it's hard to get a spot right by the window. But the view is amazing from all angles.

The family and I had lunch at Panchos yesterday during our excursion from Carnival Panorama. We arrived shortly before noon and the restaurant was already busy. No surprise as Panchos is a very popular spot. It sits right on the beach and is surrounded by a bunch of shops. The restaurant itself is pretty small. There is an outdoor dining room overlooking the beach, a small indoor space with a bar, and another dining room on the second floor. If you really want to experience Panchos, make sure to sit in the area that overlooks the beach. And if you're in a hurry, don't dine at Panchos. We waited about thirty five minutes for a table. Once seated, it was almost another twenty minutes before someone took our order. Our waiter took the orders of the tables surrounding us and then blew right by us. He then rushed by us and I think he realized he forgot about us. For starters, we ordered the Shrimp Ceviche and guacamole. About 10 minutes later, we saw a runner take what appeared to be our ceviche and guacamole to another table. I can only assume that is what happened because the people at the other table accepted the ceviche, but not the guacamole. That same guacamole that disappeared returned a few minutes later with ceviche. Both dishes were really good and kiddo practically polished off the ceviche. The rest is our lunch service went pretty smooth after that. I ordered the surf and turf which was kind of a filet mignon wrapped in bacon and served with two grilled jumbo shrimp and a baked potato with all the trimmings. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. The Mrs. ordered the Coconut Shrimp which tasted like cotton candy. Kiddo ordered the Aranchera which was seasoned flap meat that was cooked perfectly. She seemed indifferent to it. For dessert we had Flan which was good. To from, we enjoyed Margaritas that were good and strong. Kiddo ordered Mexican Coke. Aside from the hiccup at the beginning, the rest of the meal was perfectly paced. You aren't rushed at Panchos.

This place is great! Great service, great drinks, great food! They brought complimentary appetizers and drinks!

Good food . Good service . Beach view is amazing . Don't get the "special rib eye" Every time I go it's in special and I ask for well done . And it always has blood . Idc how you eat your steak. But if in paying for my own i like it well done . Please respect it when I say burned is fine

Loved everything about this place! We got a beachfront table upstairs. No a/c but we hade the cool breeze and the serene view of the beach. We were given chips, a special pico and salsa while waiting. We got beer, fish tacos, ceviche, in very generous portions. We had cerveza. Food was promptly, fresh, tasty, and served by really helpful servers. We were so full at the end of the meal. And the bill? So small! This place made me want to come back and bring my whole brood to Mazatlán. Gracias!

Nice beach atmosphere. Staff were very prompt and friendly. Good sense of humor. We had breakfast and it was very good with substantial portions.

Highly recommend Panchos in Mazatlan. The food was delicious, the staff were welcoming, and the setting along the beach is unmatched. We went twice in our trip, including a 10-person group. For reservations, we messaged them on Facebook and got a quick response. They were very accommodating for our vegetarian friend, and the guacamole and seafood dishes were amazing!

Amazing food and service. Had the machaca plate and another special of the day it was the best breakfast I have had in Mazatlán after being here for a week. The service was amazing, everyone was easily available and always checking in. Eating next to the beach was such a relaxing sight as well.

Found this place on tik Tok and we decided to give it a chance and go visit right out the bar a soon as you get there you get seated great place by the beach so I suggest to request a table by the side of the beach for the view is great, the staff is friendly but but slow on coming back to check on you once you order your food you gotta fledged them down for attention Other than that the food is very good and tasty I order a shrimp omelette and beans (hand made tortillas) and of course a modelo to wash it down the wife ordered the chilaquiles and she loved them I recommend this please when in mazatlan

Love Pancho's, 2 kilos of Lobster cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding. We went here twice because we found the food and service to be one of the best in Mazatlan. The coconut shrimp is really good also.

Customer service was good, the wait time to get a table wasn't long at all. And the most important thing was the food, it's was so good. Good portion of food. I was seated upstairs and the ocean view was good. I will definitely go back here.

Our favorite place to eat when we come, the staff and the food is the absolute best! Overlooks the beach and within walking distance to lots of great shops and vendors.

The food, the service and the views are outstanding. A very good restaurant. I've been to both locations. Both great. Liked the breeze from the beach front in the Golden Zone.

We loved the food and atmosphere so much we went for lunch and dinner :) Service was great as well. We ordered tortilla soup and raw shrimp ceviche. My son who doesn't like shrimp is now a shrimp lover cause of the ceviche! He ordered it both visits! Highly recommend Jalapeño margaritas as well!

This was our first time here at Panchos Restaurant and it was wonderful. Our taxi driver told us they have the best seafood in town and he was right. They brought us two fried jalapeños and chips and salsa to start. We had a wonderful open air view to the beach and it was fantastic. We ordered a Mexican plate which had Carne asada and a burrito and guacamole and rice and beans and a coconut fried shrimp which came with rice and beans and rolls. Everything was spotless including the bathrooms. There was great Mexican music playing and a view with people parasailing and kites flying. It was a amazing view. We have eaten at many places in this area but none were as outstanding as this. This is a must have dining experience that was topped off by the most amazing strawberry pie. Thanks for the great dining experience. Highly recommend.

Just came back from another trip to Mazatlan and again ate at Panchos 3 times. The great food and wonderful generous hospitality each kept us coming back. We were warmly greeted by Daniel and Alfredo. What also got me to want to update this review was in my prior Mazatlan trip Alfredo & I discussed fishing and he said he has a friend who charters trips. I didn't have time to do it then, but on this last visit I caught Alfredo as he was about to head out but took the time to call his friend Chalio. The next day I was fishing catching about 60 red snapper. Alfredo said whenever he fishes with Chalio he never comes back without a catch and was he right. Suffice it to say we brought some of that fish to Panchos where they cooked it up just how we wanted it, delicious. Back home writing this we're already looking forward to our next visit to Mazatlan which means another visit (or should I say visits) to Panchos!

This place is upscale and very nice. We went there for breakfast and the food was incredible. Service was quick.

Wow! Besides having to wait about 30 minutes for a table for six everything was tremendous. The service was excellent, the food was delicious the beer was cold and the appetizers were quick. Also the Christmas decorations and the the table ware and the view of the the beach and ocean. Wow! I totally recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Mazatlan, Mexico.

Absolutely the best Mexican food in town! Great service, food is amazing and the shrimp to die for

We came for dinner on our first night in Mexico. First thing I have to say is that staff are supper friendly especially to young kids. They were so patient with our 11 month old daughter and even invited me into the kitchen because she was interested in all the activity. Food wise I'd say things tasted pretty good- especially the patch shrimp dish we had. The stuffed fish also wasn't bad. Great location right on the beach.

More expensive than you'll pay in other Mexican restaurants, but worth it. The arrachera nachos were a great starter for my family. Everyone loved them. I ordered the shrimp ceviche as a meal and omg, delish. Everything was fresh and it wasn't overly doused in lime. We weren't lucky enough to snag a beachside seat, but I wish we did because the view is beautiful. Take a trip upstairs to the restroom even if you don't need to go. It's really cute up there too.

We loved Panchos! It was definitely worth the wait. Amazing food, and they came around with free tequila shots, the best! We are going back the next time we are in Mazatlan.

Pancho's is my favorite restaurant in Mazatlan! The waiters are great! Food is great! View is beyond great! Prices are great. Can I take this restaurant back to Virginia with me?

This place is fantastic. Order one of their flaming drinks or desserts if you want a show with your dinner.

The good is excellent. Come hungry! The service is always great. Feels like family! We always make a friend when we go.

Excellent and fast service, restaurant on the beach. They gave me a free cream liqour shot at the end, which I didn't even drink because I still had a large glass of tutti frutti lol.

We really enjoyed our meal here. First off, I felt like the staff really took the pandemic seriously. I didn't see any noses peeking out, and they did a good job with plexiglass and airflow. Second, the food was really really good. It is a big tourist trap so I expected mediocrity -- but I ended up really enjoying it. I recommend the Arrachera Don Pancho. The gratis shots (mezcal? I'm not sure) were sweet and fun.

Everything was incredibly tasty. Well worth the taxi from the cruise port. I had the shrimp tacos, my wife had fish tacos, step-dad had shrimp and marlin tacos and mom had coconut shrimp. It all was super tasty. The extra guacamole with the tacos was a pleasant surprise

We always have a great time at Panchos! The service is stupendous and the atmosphere is fun. The fare is classic Mexican bar food; everything is always great tasting and fresh.

Love this place ... the hot n spicy shrimp, cheviche, grilled shrimp, grilled red snapper and stuffed shrimp was to die for.. love the stuffed chilli and the kuala shots that are complimentary

Great food. Do not sit upstairs unless you are really hungry or it is cool. The upstairs tends to be warmer.

We only had Spanish coffee's, which were fabulous! We have eaten at both Pancho locations and the food, service, and atmosphere make the restaurants one of our favorites!!!
