Pancho's Villas

We arrived by water taxi, and the hotel was only a few minutes’ walk away – very convenient if you have heavy luggage. Reception is in a small building in front of the main one, and it doesn’t seem to be staffed all the time. Our room was a good size and included a kitchenette with a sink, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and fridge (though no cooker). As we only stayed a couple of nights, we didn’t need room service, but it’s available on request. The island itself is small and easy to explore on foot. There’s a restaurant/bar directly opposite the hotel where the music usually stops around 11 pm. For breakfast, I recommend trying House of Jack’s, just a short walk to the left of the hotel. Overall, a pleasant stay, and I would be happy to return.

This was a great budget option for us - everything we needed. Ideal location close to water taxi dock, restaurants, shops, tour agents, and just across from a nice cafe for breakfast and an awesome grill for dinner. Room was clean, shower provided adequate hot water, and it was perfectly quiet at night. Celina in the office was very pleasant and helpful, and her cute little dog Gizmo was super chill and friendly.

The owner is an excellent lady and a gracious host. Would highly recommend. And Gizmo (the host puppy) is the fun little security guard. :)

Melanie and her family were amazing, catering to our every need. The location is very central, just around the corner from the ferry terminal and a short walk to the split. Our room was extremely clean and housekeeping is available daily. It was also well equipped with plates, dishes and cutlery; a microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee maker, which suited us perfectly. This was worth every penny and is an ideal place to stay in Caye Caulker. Thank you Melanie.

We had a really lovely stay here :) The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It's very centrally located. The room was big and had great A/C.

Well, Melanie and her partner are super nice people - couldn't have asked for better hosts. Melanie was constantly asking us daily if we needed housekeeping and new towels. The rooms themselves were spotless, and pretty big. They have everything you need. The location of the property is spot on, and within walking distance to everything on the island. Thank you again

We had an unfortunate situation that prevented us from a planned vacation in South America and so last minute we were headed to Caye Caulker and looking for places to stay online. Pancho’s caught our eye so we booked. Our room had a living room/kitchen with futon and room with two double beds which was perfect for our small family. The room was very clean and comfy. The shower has good pressure and hot water. Raul greeted us and showed us to our room and was available if we were in need of anything. After a couple days we needed fresh towels and garbage change and so I put the “make up room” sign out. Raul noticed and came and thoroughly cleaned the room himself since the housekeeper had not arrived for work yet. That was more than we needed but his willingness to take care of his guests was very much evident and appreciated. We would definitely recommend Pancho’s as it is in a great location, the room is clean and the service is on point. The only improvement would be if they could provide a lighter for the stove and drinking water.

Location was fairly central, clean bathroom with hot water, friendly staff. No glass windows just metal shutters and screening allowed a lot of noise in especially when there is a live band in the bar next door. Layout of the room was slightly strange. All in all good for the price. Better if you plan on staying out late
