Pandanus Caravan Park

I had an amazing stay at Pandanus Caravan Park! The place is beautiful, well-kept, and super relaxing. Ash was awesome – as a solo traveler, I felt so safe and comfortable thanks to his friendliness and helpfulness. The management is lovely and genuinely cares about guests. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Port Douglas – I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place, my partner and I stayed during the wet season for a couple of nights on our road trip. Really quiet, almost the park to ourselves, bar what seems like some permanent residents. We parked out campervan in Plot 68, just behind the kitchen overlooking rainforest. Kitchen has everything you need. Toilets, showers and laundry all great. The pool is absolutely lush to cool off in! Ash was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations. The highlight for us, was meeting Winnie, the adorable dog!

My boyfriend and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! The showers, toilets, pool, camp kitchen and grounds were always so clean and tidy. We were worried about the road being a bit close but during our stay had completely forgotten about the road, you can’t hear a thing! The owners Jack and Ash made us feel so welcome the moment we arrived and made us feel like we could go to them with any concerns that we may have. It’s only a 15 / 10 minute walk to the Main Street of Port Douglas. We looked at the caravan park up the road and it’s SO cramped, the spaces at this park were much more spread out and had beautiful trees and flowers around the place. We will definitely be back. Could not fault this caravan park!

Ash was so welcoming right from our phone call before arrival. He has been amazing & the facilities are lovely & clean, Pool is awesome, sites are great. We had a wasp nest above our site & Ash came & removed it very promptly & even got a few stings, sorry mate, but great work. We’ve stayed 3 nights & travelled out each day. So close to town & very convenient for all. Would certainly come stay again & highly recommend it 😎 top stuff Ash!

I have stayed on this campsite for two months and Helen and Scott have made me feel so at home here. I’ll be forever grateful that the staff on the campsite created a home far away from home for me. They’re working hard everyday to keep the campsite clean for everyone. Clean camp kitchen, showers, campsites etc! The last couple of weeks I had a blast with Ash and Jackson who are the new managers and keep continuing to make the guests feel as comfortable as ever. Thanks for the fun game nights guys and I’ll see you when I get back 🫶🏼🦋

Pandanus was the perfect spot for us. We were out and about along the east coast with a rented RV and Port Douglas was our final destination. Ash and Jack, managing the caravan park were so generous and hospitable and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The service was impeccable and very personalised. The Park is well-groomed with lots of green space and spotless facilities! Thank you!

Nice camping closing to the center of Port Douglas. An excited and awesome bloke helped us with our late check-in (didn’t ask his name unfortunately), and gave us some tips for around town. Reasonably priced. Nice swimming pool. Clean amenities. If I can find a small remark however, it would be good if you can provide some basic cookware/cutlery in or around the kitchen. Not everyone has that available. 5/5 nonetheless

We are 2 backpackers who spent many weeks in the Pandanus Caravan Park. We were a bit unsure wether we would like the park but gave it a try, and we were not disappointed! Helen and Scott are doing an amazing job at keeping the place spotless and making the guests feel at home. The camp kitchen has everything you need and is kept clean every day. The amenities are deep cleaned every day, which we highly appreciated. Because this is a smaller park, the managers know their customers and walk around the park regularly. We felt almost as part of a family and not just a number. We definitely recommend staying at Pandanus and will be coming back ☺️
