Pandanus Caravan Park

We stayed in powered sites for 2 nights last week. The amenities were spotless, an amazing shower, probably the best of our whole trip. Gardens well maintained & staff lovely & helpful. Special shout out to Ash who helped my brother & I with some paperwork. Went above & beyond to help us which was much appreciated. Cheers, Tania & Brad

November 2025 - powered site Stayed on 2 occasions on the way to cooktown and then again on our back through. The park is lovely, quite and very clean. Ash and Jack were amazing on both occasions, and i would highly recommend anyone to stay and i will definitely stay again ❤️ Thank you both for a friendly and outgoing friendship

I stayed in one of the units at Pandanus Caravan Park for a couple of months, and it’s the best caravan park I’ve come across during my travels around Australia. The park is immaculately maintained - the grounds and facilities are beautiful, peaceful, and clearly looked after with care. The pool, barbecue, and kitchen areas are always clean and genuinely enjoyable to spend time in. The managers are fantastic - friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. They really go above and beyond, and it’s clear they love what they do. All of the staff are great :)

Park was centrally located, neat and tidy park and so were the amenities. Staff friendly and helpful when checking in. Only stayed one night due to the smell which was absolutely terrible. Couldn’t sleep because of smell. Cut stay short. Next morning found out that sewerage treatment plant is located behind the park.

I've been on the road now 6 months and over 50 parks and the crew out here are absolutely amazing people. They have a great energy and go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home . Nothing but genuine smiles love and respect. Makes staying here one of my favourite stops. We all know its about the energy these days and these guys and gal's have the best 👌 💯🫶 The park has great facilities and close to town also. Thanks for everything . I Will always be dropping in whenever im in Port Douglas .

Stayed there with some friends and we all thought it was a hidden gem close to the town in Port Douglas . The staff were very friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay . The cabin was spotlessly clean and the grounds are well maintained . Will definitely stay there again and will recommend to others

Just a short walk from the main shopping centre in Port Douglas making it a good location. If you don't want to walk then there are frequent local shared buses that are available. The caravan sites are generally large and easy to get into. Sam was very helpful and friendly for both booking and checking in. We would stay here again, next time we are in Port Douglas

Great stay. Very quiet contrary to expectations. A few backpackers but you don’t notice that they’re there. Very close to town and the beach. Staff super friendly and very helpful. 👍🏼
