Panera Bread

We have been to numerous Paneras over the years and have never had a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup with this texture before. I don't know if we were more disappointed in the soup or the response and character of the male manager. As you can see in the photo with the white bowl, our soup was thick and grainy and contained chunks of what appeared to be the thickening agent used for the soup (those chunks are "not" bits of broccoli). The other photo, with the large pieces of broccoli and the smoother base, is what is posted on the Panera website. When I called the manager, he offered us a fraction of what we paid for our three soups in the form of a gift card and said that no one else had complained about the soup and he knew of no quality issues. He also offered to replace the soups but told me that he could not guarantee that they would be any different were I to drive back. Very poor customer service and very poor quality compared to all of the other Paneras we have been to in our lifetime.

Food is good. The bread bowl shrunk but the soup was good. I had the strawberry banana smoothie, very good. I should have ordered at the kiosk, the person taking orders needed a personality adjustment.

I love the sip club membership because of such a amazing value for money. My only feedback is I wish the unsweetened iced tea was better quality. Every time I try it thinking that maybe it was just a bad batch the one day I am reminded that it’s bad every day and has funky taste to it.

Everything was good, but the price it was $32 for a large soup and a bowl of soup. I understand things cost a lot more nowadays But really $32 the large soup was $22 . I don't even think there was $22 worth of ingredients.

Got the pick two and tried the turkey bacon bravo and it was very good paired with the Cesar salad!

Food is good, service is so-so. Atmosphere is generally on the crowded side and tables aren't being cleaned much. It's a hit or miss.

I stopped by to grab a quick bite late morning and had just missed the breakfast menu. Got the pick 2 with half a steak & cheddar and small asian salad. It was the perfect size. I am not sure how the pricing works because the price I saw was $6 snd change for the pick 2. My total was $11.89 ? I did not get a drink . Anyway, the salad was good and had a kick ! The sandwich was tiny but tasty. It was ready quickly so all and all it is worth the price if you want a quick healthier bite. Staff was very friendly :)

I ordered a $15.00 green salad and it was literally in a side salad container! These portion sizes are getting ridiculous! They are always putting MORE profits above the actual customer. Well Panera, ya got one less customer to worry about now!!

Past few times has been a disappointment. Ordered Togo and the whole order was wrong when I got to where I was going. The sandwich's weren't on the bread that's was requested or the correct meat. No spoons for the soup and no chips. Today they gave me half of my son's kids meal and I ordered a bowl of soup and it's half empty. For $20 you'd think you'd get a little more.

We all know Panera. Just like many restaurants, there are good ones, great ones, and normal places. This location usually gets it right. It can get busy at meal times so beware. But whatever you fave from Panera they will get it right for you. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating too!

We went here because we were given a gift certificate. I didn't know much about Panera, thought it was primarily a retail bagel type place. The southwest chicken salad and but on tomato basil bread were quiet good, and reasonably priced. This is a clean , spacious location with a lot of windows. There were many what appeared to be high school seniors about, many using wifi, all pleasant enough, no trouble makers. No tip extortion, bravo !

This location is okay. Not as bad as the reviews make it seem. Bread isn't very fresh, it often tastes a little stale. However, overall food qualitynis decent. Service is good, staff are quick and always try their best to fix mistakes. They have a quiet study room with lots of outlets to charge your computer. Its a decent place to study and grab a bite.

Got to be one of the worst Paneras there is. No drive through, and literally every single visit I come in the ice machine has no ice, and the drinks come out of the machine lukewarm and disgusting. I'm not even kidding I've come here like a dozen different times within the past few months to use my Sip Rewards benefits. Hopefully this review will help get the franchise to fix these things.

Great food. Great environment and music. High prices though! Good coffee also, service was okay!

I always like coming to Panera,especially when I'm in the mood for a big salad and the Chicken Fuji Apple salad is my favorite. I wish Panera would keep it on their menu all the time instead of having it as a seasonal item. My daughter had the 1/2 Tuna sandwich with a 1/2 bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. We think they must whip the tuna instead of mixing it, because it's always light and fluffy. It's also a favorite of ours. My granddaughter had the Mac and Cheese and a Strawberry Yogurt. I'm sure if she was old enough to speak, she'd would say it was delicious. She ate 1/2 the bowl quick. Paneras in Clermont is always crowded, but the restaurant is always clean, the service was fast and the staff is friendly.

Great food! Too many options to choose! I love Panera Bread! I recommend it! Great service!

The employees weren't the friendliest. Beyond that, food came out quickly and unlike some locations they didn't make the sandwiches skimpy

The perfect place to work outside of the office. I like to grab a booth, yummy parfait and a hot hazelnut coffee to get some work completed. Staff is always friendly and keeps the place nice and clean.

This is what Panera charged $13.19 for a whole Steak and cheese sub sandwich on Mother's Day. Either they are just plain crooks or the employees are not well educated in reading orders and making sandwiches.

I have no idea why we keep ordering from this place. I'm posting what they sent today. The manager offered to remake the sandwiches but we had to drive to the restaurant to pick them up. But I asked for a refund, which she told me could take up to 10 days. I'm done with this place. I hope Panera corporate closes it down. If it could get a zero star that's what they would get.

Panera Bread - Clermont, FL Awful service from the female cashier at the cash register on 8-25-2023. I spoke with a team lead which was very nice & he took my order. I did a survey and complained on the rude cashier and the Assistant Manager Codey Whitehead emailed me and promised me a $10 voucher which I have not received by mail nor email yet. I emailed him back and no reply! Horrible service from Panera Bread - Clermont, FL!

Almost perfect. We love their monthly free drinks. Breads are too pricey.

There are always Long lines due to not having enough help. While waiting in line I watched en employee replenish the half and half. He put new product into a dirty container rather than Getting a new container from the kitchen. This goes against serve safe procedures.

Lunchtime has few non-burger national chain venues, KFC, Arby's, Taco Bell ah yea Subway so maybe "upscale" is better suited to the statement. I know Panera has come on strong in recent years. Good soup, Good Bagels, and good sandwiches. The concept is certainly directed towards the health conscious and typically female demographic. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It wasn't my first choice but you can't always get what you want. The soup was hot and tasty, my avocado turkey blt was good. Like a sandwich a friend might make to impress me. Thanks foodguy-martin

This location served us breakfast 30 minutes after breakfast ended. Their customer support nailed it today. We are super happy customers who will continue to visit this location. Try the egg white, cheese and ham sandwich...a favorite of ours. Sammies are about $6. They have great hot chocolate too. My all time favorite are the raspberrt thumbprint cookies!! I could eat the allllllll. Try one for a dollar and a half. If you don't like it, you can give it to me!! :)

Used to work here. Very dirty in the kitchen. Barely passed health inspection. They never listen to availability and schedule requests. I was part time and am a minor! Quit after a month because of how rude the managers were, even to customers. Do not apply .

This review is specifically about the Chicken Asian Crunch Salad. They should change the name to Chicken Gristle Salad. The chicken was some dark meat (maybe thighs). Most of the pieces had chewy skin on them and lots of gristle. It went straight to the garbage. It was totally inedible. The dressing is extremely tart or possible wasn't mixed thoroughly but like it's chicken ingredient was inedible. I really liked the Asian Sesame chicken salad but it was not on the menu. There were signs all around explaining lettuce shortage but all the lettuce they listed was in abundance at the grocery store so it makes you wonder. Anyway, I would shy away from the Gristle salad.

Witnessed a full out verbal argument between the manager and an employee he was firing for blatantly discriminatory reasons. I grew up in Clermont, and spent 19 years of grade school, high school, and college in this very location. Came back to this Panera tonight to study in a corner booth near the kitchen entrance. Overheard the manager telling "Austin" to "go home" out in the open in the food preparation area, which he seemed shocked at. The assistant manager joined in screaming "you're not doing anything, GTFO". He came back later, and the hilarity ensued with a full on verbal fight fully fueled in by the management's blatant temper tantrum. I have a lot of childhood memories in this place, and spent a lot of my younger years here, but I think I'll be going to the one in Winter Garden going forward when I'm in town. They seem to be a bunch of unprofessional drug users at this point, which is a shame. Makes me wonder what other shady stuff goes on here.....

I am so disappointed with this experience, I stopped in on my way to work for a bowl of Oatmeal and a cup of coffee , there was no one in line and I ordered right away , I walked to the back to wait to get my food and waited for 10 minuets , and I finally inquired when my food would be ready , the worker said they were working on it, 5 minuets later I asked what the hold up was , considering they just microwave it and put it in a to go bowl, she finally got around to making it and she put the wrong toppings on it, I then told her never mind and I went up front to get a refund , when I told the manager she rolled her eyes at me , never apologized and just gave me a refund .

Went inside for a quick breakfast yesterday. Tried ordering two different things but they were already out of breakfast items at 9 AM. Staff is super friendly and apologetic about running out of things so early on in the day. I ended up ordering a chocolate croissant and tea. They have a self serve area for coffee and there's a microwave if you want to warm up your food or pastries, so I heated up my croissant. It was flakes and very flavorful. Filled with chocolate and drizzled on the outside as well. For next time, I guess I'll have to show up early early before the sun rise to get some of the hot breakfast options. Local to my home, so will definitely be giving another try in the future.

Very disappointed with service! We stayed in line for 6 Minutes they had quite a few employees and none of them acknowledged us to come over and help! I had to call one of the attendants to come over and help me! An absurd! Food is great as any other Panera, but for service this Panera got zero!

Nice spot for a quick weekend breakfast. My husband likes their steak*egg*cheese*everything bagel however he adds sliced avacado to his which brings out the taste. Enjoy!

I just love this Panera Bread restaurant. On week days, I come to get my tea and my sweet treat and on weekend I bring my family for pizza. Our fav is the yummy Chitople pizza with sauce on the side. Our fav manager is Zach , he always makes us and all customers feel so welcomed . He is the best! Highly recommend this place to everyone!!

Unfortunately today was an off day for this location. I ordered a small coffee and an egg sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun. I asked for the bun to be buttered and they said yes we can do that.. i gave a big tip which i was surprised was a new choice on the cc reader. So I was generous with the tip. There was no acknowledgement of the tip, no thank you..they were not busy today so my sandwich was ready quickly. As they gave it to me they said oh we aren't allowed to put butter on the bread you have to and gave me the little frozen blocks of butter.. he said the bread should still be warm so they may melt on it. So i took the sandwich and realized the bread Wasn't warm and the cheese was cold and not melted like the picture and the butter didn't melt. To top it off something tasted spoiled it may have been the cheese. I had sat outside so I went back in after one bite to talk to the manager and they were getting a little busy and with no acknowledgement I threw the sandwich away and left. So sorry I wish they had said we can't put butter on the sandwich and it won't be hot or melted like the picture and I would have had the cheese danish which is always delicious! Its a training issue.

Great atmosphere, place is clean, plenty of room to enjoy your meal. The employees are very friendly and attentive, willing to help you with your needs. The bread is always fresh and the soup are delicious as well.

Overall, the food is very good and I have never had a problem. But over the 6/7 years I've been coming to this place, they are always out of bagels or soufflé. It's very disappointing. But I would recommend coming here if that's not what you eat. I've also noticed that they are out of romaine salad.

As my mom and i walked in, we scanned the menu and thought we were ready to order, i asked for a cuban with a cesar salad, they didn't have romaine lettuce or the cuban, i quickly decided to go with something easy, i went with the bacon melt. she tried to get a salad and still no romaine lettuce, then we asked for their famous cookies, they didn't have any. then the lady was a little rude saying in a snarky way "it was a busy day" not apologizing or anything... then we sat down to eat and my bacon melt was awful. her salad was fine but that's how the night went...

Definitely one of the better Paneras that I've been to! My food has always been good and I like the outdoor space. The bathrooms are just usually pretty gross; I definitely think they should hire someone to keep up with this as I've seen in other Paneras.

This was your typical setup for a Panera Bread. It was convenient though since it was near the hotel. I didn't like that I was given a buzzer while waiting for the food. It led to the person yelling my name in an irritable tone since my family was engaged in conversation.

This Clermont, FL location Panera should really pay closer attention to orders placed via the kiosk. Instead of standing in line, we'd thought to use the kiosk and pay, and then just wait for our order to be called. We placed our order, and when we received our bag, they left out 3 items. We ordered a Mitten Cookie 6-Pack, a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bagel, and cream cheese spread. Those items were missing from our bag, the cookies alone were $12.00! When we approached the staff to let them know some items were missing, we were treated as if we were being a bother! Some people really do need to fix their face, when dealing with the general public. We weren't asking for anything above and beyond what we ordered... we just wanted what we paid for, so how are we an inconvenience. Please don't blame staffing, as the place was filled with employees, and it wasn't truly that busy. Bottom line... .ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER IF YOU ARE TAKING AWAY.

First of all -- in general, we love Panera; love the food and coffee. We don't have one close by our home, so it's been a treat for us, while visiting family, to have a Panera right in the neighborhood; we've been getting breakfast here on an ongoing basis. (Favorite breakfast items include the Mediterranean egg-white sandwich and the steak breakfast sandwich.) What I've noticed in this particular establishment, though, is a general lack of friendliness/sense of unhappiness among the staff; it seems to be true no matter what time of day we stop in. Sometimes this manifests in surliness -- this morning, for instance, I got attitude from one of the young kitchen staff when I (reasonably) went to the counter and requested a box for leftovers. At other times it's more like a general malaise. Believe me, I understand that working a minimum-wage job with rush-hour/lunch-hour stress is not a picnic in the park, and I don't blame the employees (well...not most of them); but maybe the chain or this franchise needs to give its boots-on-the-ground people some positive affirmation and incentive to provide cheerful service. Down the street at Starbucks we've always had very positive experiences interacting with staff; just sayin'.

They have posters of a new Cuban sandwich but they haven't had ham for weeks...jus take down the poster and put up a sign that you're out of ham. Besides the absence of ham, they're usually out of something else. Poorly stocked. Other than that this Panera is fine.

Big thumbs down on this Panera Bread. I asked them where they were on the phone and the guy said directly across from Starbucks!!! Could not find them for the life of me. Turns out right across the street is a mile down the road!!!! I get there 20 minutes later. I scan my card then make my order two minutes later. I ask the clerk ROBERT if my card scanned and he said sure it did. I placed my order and guess what....It did not scan!!! My last time at this Panera Bread!!!!

First, it's a little hard to Dis Panera Bread. There food is great, just bit pricey. The reason I write about this one, is that a group and I meet here weekly. There are about 10 of us if not more. What is the downer to this place is that there is a room for groups. In the months that I have been coming here, it is never used and yet management won't allow us to use it unless we purchase so much food with an agreement... With 10 of us and their prices, we probably spend at lease $60 if not more. As a group we talked about the room and realized that if we were a penny short that management would come down on us... We agreed at a group that we assume take up a large area in the main eatery and be a burden due to managements stance. So every week we watch people come in and walk away due to the place being packed, not to mention the group of women occupying a good hunk of a corner of eatery while there is a room for groups sits vacant... So heads up... this place would look less "packed" if management would allow the ladies to use the vacant room few hours on Monday. Oh and the other bummer... takes through forever to get your order together! Parking is limited when the place is packed and it also shares the lot with another business.

I went yesterday with a friend to Panera on my lunch break. I normally love the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich so I got that and a plain Greek Salad as a Pick 2 meal. I added the cookie for 99¢ and a tea. The total came to just over $12. I got my sandwich and was shocked at how little chicken salad is on it. It was basically 2 over sized slices of bread with a small piece of lettuce, 2 tomato slices, and a half dollar size lump of chicken salad. I brought it up to the cashier thinking it must be a mistake and she was so rude to me, telling me it is supposed to come like that and I must have been over served in the past. She told me to go to the food counter if I want more. So I walked to the food counter and the girl giving out orders gave me a large scoop of chicken which I was grateful for. I ate my sandwich and started on my greek salad when I noticed chicken pieces that looked all chewed up. I didn't even order chicken with my salad?? Then I moved my fork through my lettuce and saw more chicken bits, edamame, corn, and red pepper. I think they gave me a bowl with someone's leftovers in it! Gross!!! I lost my appetite thinking about how I was possibly eating someone else's leftover bits. The bread piece they gave me was also very small, at most 2 inches. They used to give a decent sized hunk but this was teeny. I didn't say anything about the contaminated salad after the way I got treated after I asked about my sandwich. Needless to say I will not be back!! McAllisters is right down the street and their food is better!!!

There is a reason this location has two stars. It truly pained me to even give them even one star. I ordered delivery and received a sandwich with three long hairs. The manager proceeded to LAUGH at my request for a refund and said there is nothing he can do. Deliver a new sandwich? Require employees to wear a hair net? Don't laugh at a custom when they have been wronged? Terrible service, terrible manager who clearly hates his own job.

I love panera. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner - It's fabulous. This location hasn't disappointed me yet. They always have good coffee (my favorite being hazelnut). Good bagels and spreads, and breakfast sandwiches! My favorite is their black bean soup, chicken noodle soup, and french baguettes! Just a great quick place to go, just wish the locations had a drive thru! Haha

The food at this Panera location is about the same as you get at every other Panera. Sandwiches, bagels, some baked stuff. I've had the Italian combo a couple of times, and it tastes good. The location is great. It sits on one of the higher hills in Clermont near the water tower and you can see the downtown skyline from the parking lot. The most recent time I went, every single empty table in the dining room was dirty. They weren't particularly busy, so I'm not sure what the problem was. I hate having to clean my own table, but I had no other option.

Well Panera Bread is one of my favorite places to go. When I am in doubt as to what I am going to eat, Panera always wins out. I have a gift card from the holidays to use here. This location in Clermont is the closest to me, but it isn't really my favorite location. I usually get the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad or Napa Valley Chicken Salad Sandwich or the Turkey Artichoke Sandwich or any of the soups are amazing as well. I love love love it here.

The food is very inconsistent. Today my wife had a bagel with a scrambled egg and ham. The egg did cover the hole in the bagel but not much else. You could almost see through the "scrambled egg". I had a scrambled egg with avocado, spinach, tomato and cheese. The egg delivered was an over easy, not scrambled, which does not work well with a sandwich and the avocado (what little was there) was over ripe and tasteless. My wife picked up the take-out food and even asked to make sure both sandwiches had the requested scrambled egg. Not the first problem with take-out at this Panera but it probably will be the last!

I placed an online order with 6:40PM as the time for pickup. My wife waited over 40 minutes for our order even though I had described our car in detail for curbside pickup. She finally went in and there was our order - stone cold - sitting there. That is sheer incompetence, the information was with the order, they just couldn't be bothered.

Went there and ordered steak cheese sandwich with bowl soup. My soup was delicious. I noticed something funny about my sandwich. I took a closer look and open it and I quoted a famous women "where's the beef?" So the weekend help aka HS student dujuor. Had the best expression on his face! Like WTF? They took it back and some kind half ass attempt to shove the beef back in. How do you screw up a sandwich and forget the meat???!!???

Great staff, lots of smiles, but those smiles wont make my food better. The amount of salad dressing is unacceptable meaning non-existent. The meat in the sandwich is very dry and bland. The poor execution of the order was not worth paying over $20+.

Been going here for a long time until the day my entire family got really sick eating this food. Wasn't gonna be the end of eating here until I emailed the company and then called and talked to the manager. She told me the GM would call me. Neither the GM or the company reached out. We were so sick for a week. Had to go to the emergency room. Was vomiting blood. We all ate chicken salads. Please beware! They don't take issues seriously at this location!
