I stumbled upon this sandwich place thanks to TikTok, and I’m really glad I did! The sandwich we got was huge and only 7€, which was amazing value. It was more than enough for both me and my husband, and we were completely full afterward. What I really appreciated was the variety of vegetarian options available — around four or five different choices, which is fantastic for us as Muslims. It’s great to have that kind of variety. On the downside, the shop is definitely cramped. Given how popular it is, it can feel a bit tight and crowded inside. But overall, the food and the value definitely made it worthwhile.

I saw a video on TikTok about this place and knew we had to go to Florence to try these sandwiches. We first tried the Toscana and it was divine! One of the best sandwiches ever. We went on a Wednesday and the line up was about 30minutes around 2pm. One sandwich is plenty to share. On our second day in Florence we didn’t see any other sandwich place that looked better so we went back and tried the La d’alterio sandwich and it was also amazing. Our flight the next day was cancelled so we got an extra day in Florence and went back for a third time to get the Toscana sandwich again because that was hands down the best. Lovely shop, staff are friendly and happy. Don’t let the long line stop you. It goes by fast and is totally worth it.

Amazing portions, delicious sandwiches, and efficient and nice service. If you’re looking to try more things, I would recommend splitting one as they are quite large imo. We ordered two and my partner and I had to eat them for both lunch and dinner. Note there’s also no seating, so we found a park across the bridge to sit and eat. There are other parks and benches around the area to eat, but will require a walk.

The line was long when we arrived but it was worth the wait! We ordered the La Golozona, La Diovola, and the Ham and Cheese Roll (in the window). The servings are HUGE! We each only ate half our sandwich, and quickly realized we over ordered 🤣. He also gave our kids a little croissant and cheese and stickers while they waited. Everything was so tasty! Also, one of the most affordable things we ate!

This is my favorite sandwich I’ve had in Italy so far! They actually toast the sandwich which makes a world of difference. We loved the experience of watching the sandwiches be made fresh and although the line was long, it moved along quickly. Definitely recommend trying if you’re in the area! The best part was the proximity to the canal, so we bought our sandwiches and walked them to the water so we could eat them with a view. Such a lovely experience.

1000/10 would recommend! Had to wait in line for about 30 minutes, but it was worth every single bite. The whole experience was amazing, between the atmosphere of the shop, the freshly toasted sandwich and homemade focaccia bread… As well as the unique pairings of flavors and the sandwich I cannot wait to come back here again! Been thinking about the sandwich since I ate it today! not sure how I will go back to eating a regular sandwich after this…

Massive portions and very delicious and generous fillings. Fresh and crispy bread. Great experience and incredible value for money (6.5-8 euros each approx). Expect a queue but very quick once you order but definitely worth it. Helpful and nice staff. Takeaway only but not far from beautiful places in Florence to sit.

Incredible sandwiches! All of them were so tasty. We got the famous mortadella, strachiatella, and pistachio pesto one, along with two others and they were all delicious. Packed full of fillings and perfectly toasted. The sandwiches are HUGE! I could barely finish half, my husband was able to eat one, but it was an effort. These could definitely feed two people or more. The photos are true to scale, Giant! The owner was also very friendly, especially to our kids, giving them meat, bread, and stickers. Overall, amazing experience, and definitely worth the wait in the line! Loved it!
