Pangkor Laut Island

We spent a whole week in this resort and it was an amazing experience. The resort is located on a paradisiacal island (nature rather well preserved, incl. animals, the beautiful Emerald Beach). It is very well equipped (two swimming pools, gym, five restaurants, tennis court, little library, gaming room, buggies to enable transfer between the different amenities, ... etc.). Every single experience was worth trying (spa, yoga classes,.. etc.). The staff is so attentionate, kind and helpful. Thanks to Suhag, Riaz, Nazim, Sakil, and Budi. Thanks also to JC, who was our contact on the island to help us with different requests and reservations. Very professional and available even when we was off, and supported making the most of our stay in the resort. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the restaurants served fresh dishes. Our favorite, as per reviews we've consulted before booking, is Uncle Lim's Kitchen. Although, I must admit, prices were pretty high for all restaurants.

This place is like paradise. From the friendly staff, to the clear, emerald sea filled with fish, to the wild jungle, it is definitely one of the top resorts in Malaysia.

Stay 2 nights for the first time here with my 2 kids. I would said the resort is a bit overrated. It is a small private island, since you go outside the island, you will be stuck at the island for 3 days 2 nights fully immense yourself at the island with facility provided by the resort. However the facility is limited and some need advance booking, you may not able to use the facility if too many is using it. At night after dinner there is nothing much you can do other than stay inside your room, there is no bar, no live band. Other v than that, the food is tasty especially Uncle's Lim Kitchen and Feast Village. The staff is friendly and courtesy. Can call you by name eventhough you stay here for 2 nights only.

Nice and big resort. Well maintain. We are here for company meeting. Unfortunately there were many flies which maybe only in certain season. One of Shuttle bus driver was driving carelessly with un-happy face and prioritizing certain guesses

We stayed on one of the Sea Villas located by the Spa Village, 818. Lovely villa on stilts over the sea. Very well kept to a high standard. Sun beds on the veranda, beautiful bathroom with extra large bathtub. You can opt to open the large windows and look out onto the sea while soaking in the tub. Our room maid was lovely and kept everything clean and tidy. The advantage of staying at the Spa Village is that it is less busy at this infinity pool than in the main area. We were extremely well looked after by Mizan going over and beyond to look after us. Thank you again, Mizan. The food at Uncle Lims and The Fishermans Cove was fantastic! We ate at these restaurants a number of times over the two weeks and found everything outstanding. The main buffet restaurant was very good with an excellent selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. Lovely lunch choices at Chapmans Bar, Royal Bay Beach Club and a healthy option at the Spa Village Bar. Beaches are lovely with white soft sand. Here is the only downside....unfortunately the seas in this area of the Malacca Straits is very polluted. Every day there is a number of hotel staff whose sole job is to keep the beaches clean. It is an ongoing permanent operation sweeping up the mainly plastic bottles and assorted waste from the sea edge. It is a horrific sight to see how much waste is dumped or has made its way into our seas. When swimming in the lovely clear, warm sea, it is full of rubbish bobbing about. We, as a human race, have a lot to answer for 😞. Other than the state of the sea, this is a wonderful island with lots of wildlife to see.

Nice n affordable place to enjoy island and beach life. Seas are a little bit rough Snorkeling, banana boat n other activities are available.

We were welcomed by smiley faces. The staffs here were well trained and their standard operating procedure is commendable. It was a 4 minute walk to the hill villas from reception with a lift in between. Sea view from the room balcony, surrounded by rainforest, is simply breathtaking. Clean and well maintained hotel rooms. The lighting and ventilation were good. There was hot tub in the room and spa salt was provided as well. Moreover Astro ultra was a plus in the room. Private Theater which was open 24hrs for the hill villas which had 20-30 seats Free buffet breakfast for every guests. We can variety of indian-chinese-malay breakfasts.

Amazing. Great hotel, food and staff. If you want to be treated like a king or a queen this is the place to be. Paradise.
