Pangolin Café is a hidden gem in Reno! Their drinks are both tasty and affordable, with great flavors and quality ingredients. The Turkish delights are absolutely delicious—very close to the authentic ones from Turkey. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is friendly. Highly recommend stopping by for a unique and delightful experience!

We ordered the PB+J latte and the cardamon latte. Both of them were silky smooth, not too sweet, and had a nice natural subtle flavor of what we ordered. You can still appreciate the taste of the coffee without the add on flavors to be too overpowering. Both the cashier and barista were very friendly and knowledgeable. We could tell that they really care about their craft and providing a great experience for their customers. The logo of the store is adorable, so we decided to get one of their mugs, too! It was only $10 for this cute and lasting souvenir. This is a great stop for coffee and more when in Reno.

Visiting and stopped by Pangolin’s and got the Cubano breve and it came with complementary rose Turkish delight with pistachios inside. I got the waffles as well and everything was delicious. The folks making these goods were super friendly and welcoming. Excited to come back

Beautiful place to chill. The spackling rose lavender lemonade and I really like it. It was refreshing and delicious. The Turkish delight came with the drink and it was also delicious. Like the decor and parking was available.

This is probably one of the best hidden gems for Coffee , Tea and amazing tasty treats! I must say the atmosphere is very chill too! Service was above expectations and generosity was off the charts! This is clearly a business that they are passionate about:). I will be a consistent patron wherever I am in the area! If you haven't been here yet then you are missing out!! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill coffee/tea place to go. Thank you for setting the bar for all other places to try and meet!!!

Do I recommend Pangolin Café? Uh, heck yes I do! An earl grey hot cocoa with toasted marshmallows and a free Turkish delight? Yes, please. Service is always helpful and cheery. The baristas really seem to be passionate about their drinks and it shows. I love the uniqueness of the menu, they have something for everyone. Ive never been upset with any of the drinks I've tried, even when it sounds strange, like adding peach to coffee... sounds bizarre, but so delicious! Inside has a few tables and places to sit. If you're looking for a fun creative coffee experience, look no further.

This is a cute little coffee spot. I'm a sucker for coffee when I travel. I can always do my go-to but I like to venture to cafes. Stumbled upon this spot bc the reviews mentioned Turkish delights. I've always seen these but never really tried it. Ordered the cookie crumble delight. It was smooth but it was missing that coffee flavor. I didn't taste too much coffee and it was missing that cookie feeling. Istanbul Fog - I can't quite explain the flavor but it was different and I didn't mind it. This was the hubs drink. I ended up drinking it all and he had my cookie crumble lol. The Turkish delight is my first time trying and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was chewy and very tart. I actually really like it. Definitely, wouldn't mind stopping by here to try other drinks & eat some Turkish delights.

We tucked ourselves into this pristine gem of a cafe, and enjoyed their iced coffee (explained delightfully by the barista as the same light roast as their drip but increased in strength) and flakey, buttery croissants. The croissant was crisp, laminated with just enough butter to hold together and the filling was a perfect savory blend of spinach and cheese. We took home two bags of the Turkish Delight samplers because nothing says Narnia like winter and Turkish Delight! Be sure to check out this sweet spot of a cafe when you are in Midtown!

Five stars are rare for me, but this place rocks ! Good service, great coffee, nice atmosphere. Beloved's pastries. They have unusual and delicious custom coffee and matcha & tea drinks often created by manager Mar ! Baristas Dylan, Connor, Jaz & Christine are great ! Sometimes there's few too many kids underfoot. it's not quite as laptop-centric as many other local coffee shops, which I appreciate.

I found out that I'm not a fan of Turkish delight however this place has delicious and creamy lattes! I've been wanting to check out Pangolin for awhile as it has been a fan favorite with my friends. I am now a huge fan of their coffee and the extensive menu they offer. I tried a pistachio latte with oat milk. The presentation was beautiful and the flavor is unmatched. It was perfectly sweet with a balanced flavor. The pistachio didn't taste fake or overly sweetened. They offer many unique tea lattes that I will definitely be back to try! They give you a free Turkish delight with each coffee. The flavor was great but the texture was not for me. It was fun to try! Of note, there is no gelatin in the Turkish Delight so it makes the treat accessible to vegetarian/vegan friends. They do offer a punch card which is great especially if you frequent midtown!

One of the first coffee shops we visited during our Reno Trip. The cafe itself has such a calm relaxing vibe! I got the matcha latte and it was perfection. The staff was friendly and we learned every order comes with a free Turkish delight. Since I was with my mom she gave us a few to try and they were delicious. The tart raspberry was my favorite. Next time I visit, I have to try the pistachio latte!

One of my favorite coffee/tea places in Reno. I am a huge fan of chai. I will go out of my way and drive all over this city to find to try any place that offers a chai latte. I have not quite been able to replicate the deliciousness of the authentic masala chai I used to have on the east coast, but I will say that Pangolin Cafe is the best in Reno. They make an awesome spicy chai...and I mean SPICY. I am a huge fan of masala and usually loooove as much spice as I can get, but I'm not going to lie - their top level is almost too spicy for me. Almost. Haha. Thankfully you can adjust the spice level to your preference. It's also fun that they offer a Turkish delight with each drink. The first time they offered a piece with my drink my initial reaction was to decline it, but I've enjoyed trying the different flavors they have over the years. My favorite so far is Rose :) They also have some other treats you can pay for if you like as well. I also like that they sell bags of coffee and tea that you can take home with you. Parking is a little limited directly in front of the store, but there's street parking nearby if you don't mind walking a little. There are tables in side but it's not huge so it might be tough to find seating during busier times. Anyway, try the chai :)

The ONLY reason I have a 4 star is because I feel like fresh cream cheese vs Philadelphia cream cheese packets would be top tier! :) Had a cookie crumble latte which was perfection! Yummy! Bagel was good, see comment above. Just feel like served cream cheese will elevate the cafe (coming from Vegas that's what I feel) I love visiting and supporting local businesses when I travel. It's such a cute spot, the staff were super cool. Good vibe and energy. Looking forward to next time!

Pangolin Cafe is a Midtown Reno must! Located just off Virginia on an unobtrusive lot, you cannot go wrong here with the creative and diverse selection of lattes and tea lattes they offer. The service is also technical yet super friendly and sincere. A nice change of pace: good honest customer service. They offer many styles from Turkish to Cuban to Matcha to Turkish Fogs and specials. I had the Fall Fog and it was perfect nostalgic goodness. Probably the single best tea latte I have ever had. I love that it was not loud sweetness but just a gentle afterthought allowing the pumpkin spice flavors to be the center of attention to the palette. Best coffee experience I have had in a long time. Cannot wait to come here again.

One of THE BEST COFFEE AND TREAT places in all of this area We always take all visitors from out of town here and recommend it to everyone. It's even fairly kid friendly. Everything is just so delicious.

An update since my last review, Pangolin still serves the same great tasting, well crafted coffee as it did when I first discovered them four years ago. Friendly baristas, classy environment, with chill music playing in the background. I recommend trying their seasonal coffees, a favorite of mine is the Cookie Crumb Latte (it's a winter season drink, so get it while it's available). They also serve some food like bagels, waffles, etc. Go check it out!

Quaint and cozy little coffee shop at a great location in Midtown! The service is excellent and the staff are all extremely friendly. It's a small space, but I don't usually have trouble finding a place to work on my laptop. The decor is warm and inviting. I appreciate the reasonably-priced drip coffee, and espresso options are unique with several non-dairy options. With each beverage purchase you get a free turkish delight! They're made in-house, and it's just such as nice little touch. Also, the toffee (also made in-house) is amazing!

First time here. Classic music was blaring through the wall speakers. It didn't feel like a cafe. But I could not resist to at least try the coffee. Ordered Cubano breve and seame bagel and lemon Turkish sweet. The gentleman who took and delivered my order to the table. breve was lukewarm lacking taste. I finished both bagel halves and left to go to my appointment.

If you've never BEAN to Pangolin Cafe, you definitely have to stop by! This hidden gem cafe tucked away in Midtown Reno is probably one of my favorite spots that I've discovered so far, with extremely high quality roasts of coffee and innovative, artfully crafted lattes made by their friendly baristas. We ordered the cookie crumb latte and peppermint bark latte, and both were delightfully concocted from high quality ingredients (actual peppermint bits/cookies instead of artificial syrup) and not too sweet! Our order also came with our choice of complimentary Turkish delight, which was an unexpected but lovely touch. With plenty of comfortable seating, WiFi, outlets, and a bathroom, this spot will definitely be my go-to spot to get work done next time I'm in Reno!

I love this place so much! They have unique drinks and the best customer service. They're so friendly and nice. I always enjoy the little Turkish delight. I'm obsessed with the pistachio latte with macadamia milk. I also recently got a bag of their coconut tea and it's so good! It has a strong coconut flavor. It would also be delicious steeped in macadamia milk! This is probably my favorite coffee shop in Reno.

6/18/2024- It's a great day, when my youngest says he wants to try out a new coffee shop..! I've had this shop saved for quite some time and willing to try it.. Decent parking and friendly service.. Good to see customers hanging out and enjoying their drinks in glass mugs and cups.. Menu is easy to select from.. Went with a pistachio latte over ice ( plus whip cream), topped with pistachios.. Son wanted the green matcha latte.. Cool to also pick your flavor of the Turkish delights- both pistachio... Drinks were great!.. strong but not too strong.. balanced and smooth tasting.. Turkish delights... yum... never had them before..(pistachio).. Great that they also have a stamp card!.. Yes, I'll be back!$

I loved the Pangolin Cafe! I ordered a Pangolin Chai, a sesame bagel, and a variety pack of the delights. Everything was really good, and especially the Pangolin Chai. Although it did slip my mind to ask for the bagel to be toasted. The first thing I noticed was the peaceful classical music, which was a nice change of pace and the designs on all of the items we got were so cute. Hoping to go back soon and get a delights tin!

you can't go wrong here. It is one of my favorite coffee spots in Reno and I've tried a lot. The staff is amazing. The place is small however perfect for a small get together or grab one to go.. they do have outside seating. when it's warmer weather. I always get a sugar-free almond milk latte and I've never been disappointed. of course I cant forget, they offer a free Turkish delight made in house, with every order. It comes with variety of different flavors. If you're ever in Reno, stop by here it's a must!

I love this spot! A unique menu, interesting spot, and great price point Pangolin is set apart from other coffee shops in town. Albeit small, there is a decent amount of indoor space to hang out. The staff is extremely kind and there to answer any and all questions. All drinks come with a turkish delight so make sure you try a sweet from here.

One of the best Matcha Latte I've ver had! Very good quality matcha and latte was smooth and silky texture. Very delicious. Their Turkish delights are so good too. I can eat hundreds of them. Very friendly service and high quality teas and coffees. I love the simple, quiet and calm interior.

I saw this place close by to where we are staying and stopped by- I need coffee in the morning! The person taking our order was really friendly and informative. There are a ton of great cardamom and tea options here, and they were really great at explaining everything. The coffee is amazing and smooth, both my husband and I downed our cups. The vibe in here is relaxed. There is a lot of light from the windows and quiet music in the background. A lot of people in here on laptops. This would be the perfect spot to catch up on work or catch up with a friend.

So unique! Pangolin's Turkish delights cannot be found anywhere else. Their lattes are not bad and they have an extensive tea menu too. A staple in the Reno coffee scene.

After seeing that Pangolin Cafe was ranked a top 5 coffee shop in the U.S., I knew I had to try it. This place deserves all the hype and much more! Since the pandemic, most coffee shops I've visited have been somewhat disappointing and not at all worth the money. Pangolin Cafe reminded me why I used to love going to coffee shops. I visited on Easter Sunday and there were a decent number of people in the cafe. Regardless, service was fast. Pangolin Cafe does many things right, but the customer service is the best I've received in years. The folks working were warm and welcoming and you could tell they wanted to be there. All three employees working went out of their way to greet every customer and make sure everyone had what they wanted. I would come back to Pangolin just for the customer service, but the food and drinks are great too! First of all, I am confident Pangolin could charge much more for their food and drink, but the fact that it doesn't makes me like the place that much more. I got the Pistachio Latte, which is the most expensive thing on the menu at $5.25. At most other places, $5.25 is the lower end of coffee prices! We also got a Cubano Breve. Both drinks were delicious and weren't too hot when they came out, which I really appreciated because we were able to drink them right away and not have to wait for our drinks to cool down. The Pistachio Latte was unlike anything I've ever had before. We also got a jalapeno cheddar bagel with spicy cream cheese and a spinach and ricotta pastry. They were both good, but the bagel wasn't anything special. The pastry was great and unlike any other pastry I've had at a coffee shop before. I was really surprised to find out that every drink comes with a free Turkish Delight. We had the vanilla rose and tart cherry Turkish Delights, which were also both good but of the two, I liked the tart cherry one more. On top of all of that, Pangolin Cafe has really nice decor. It feels very welcoming and I can totally see myself working from Pangolin during the week when it is (hopefully) less busy. The decor (maps of Reno, Portland, and Istanbul and a topological map of Tahoe) and plants in the cafe are some of my favorite things I've ever seen and I now want similar decor for my home. Overall, I highly recommend Pangolin Cafe. I will definitely be back (probably more than I should) in the future. There are a lot of coffee shops in Reno, and particularly in Midtown, but Pangolin is hands down the best option.

Clean, warm, friendly, delicious. Dude. Seriously, try this place. I've heard rave reviews from friends about this place, and was able to finally check it out for a meeting today. Man, I couldn't have picked a better spot. I got a Cubano breva. Espresso grounds mixed with turbinado sugar gets run through the machine then mixed with half and half and a little Sweeter....lemme tell ya dude, if you like coffee you need to try this thing. Decadent. This thing was like drinking a comforter. Not cloyingly sweet, rich, with a nice hint of coffee. In fact, I had a hard time believing it had two shots in it, so I'll probably add another one next time I get it. And there WILL be a next time. And did I mention every cup get a little square of Turkish delight? It's like a marshmallow mixed with toffee. Delicious little nugget of yum, dude. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

Had the cherry mocha and it was so delicious! The cherry was not overpowering at all and I swear their coffee is so rich and flavorful! I love trying their seasonal drinks! They never disappoint!

Classy, modern restaurant with excellent customer service! We passed through for breakfast on Virginia St, the up & coming, newly rehabbed Midtown connector to UNR. My son ordered iced coffee (complimentary Turkish delight) and the Original Liege waffle...gone in 1 min. He is a pretty finicky eater so this was a well deserved 5stars. Thank you Christine and team.

I saw a little bit on our news one morning about the Turkish Delights made here. It was all about it being local and authentic to what Turkish delight is, made with premium ingredients, no fillers, nothing extras I have looked for Turkish delight in the past for a specific gift and we have it here, in Reno! Granted they were limited in flavors on our first visit but more is being made today. So, we went back again the next day to pick up a handful of samplers! I can say this is going to be a favorite spot from now on. The people are just wonderful, friendly and inviting. The drink menu isn't overly large, but it is certainly varied from a spicy chai to a floral lemonade. My daughter and I have tried 4 items thus far and all are delightful. Pistachio latte is positively dreamy. It's like a hug from your favorite grandma in a mug. The whipped cream on top is almost the consistency of melted marshmallow and it's a bonus to get it as it creeps down the side of your mug. It's so rich and creamy and I know it's just the topping...but it's soooo good. Toasted pistachios are sprinkled atop the mound of whipped cream and some fall through to wait for you at the bottom of the cup. I ordered the pangolin chai on our second visit, extra spicy and it was the perfect cup on a chilly day. The spices are so vibrant in this chai and topping takes a step above anything I can make at home. The cardamom scent wafts up from the cup as you take a sip and the ginger leaves a nice after taste. My daughter is a huge fan of lavender and rose, this purple drink was totally her jam. The lavender took it right to the edge and paired with rose and lemonade it's a fun refreshing drink for anytime. Not for chugging, definitely a sip and savor drink. Her second order was the earl grey hot chocolate, two of her favorites again partied on their list of tasty treats. Both of these drinks are literally tailored to her tastes, and they do not disappoint. The hot chocolate is rich and creamy and oh so smooth. It comes with an Earl grey teabag steeping in the cup. She let it stay in there the entire time and the longer it sat, the more of the tea flavored came through. It was topped with a gorgeous heap of whipped cream I have to say has a touch of vanilla. And if you're feeling a bit peckish they have bagels and liege waffles to accompany your choice of drink. Try the jalapeño cream cheese with a bagel, you can't go wrong with anything they offer.

In the heart of midtown Pangolin Cafe is a hidden gem. They have unique coffees and teas and sweet Turkish delights. I had the cardamom latte with oat milk and got the delights sampler pack. They gave me a free piece of the delight for purchasing a sampler. The service was quick and the latte and delights were delicious. Love their beautiful cups adorned with their logo. The latte was piping hot and robust yet smooth and I could really taste the cardamom. The robust flavor of the latte was offset by the sweet delight - sweet, chewy and decadent. Yum! Parking is a bit of a challenge here...parking spaces are limited in front of the cafe so you may have to find parking nearby along the street. The coffee and delights are worth driving around a few times to find a parking space though. I will be back to try some of their other coffees/teas.

I can definitely see why this is nearly 5 stars with over 250 reviews. Our experience was really nice. It was our first time here and we wanted to try something different and fun. The workers were very welcoming. The coffee shop is a cute little place and nice atmosphere. We got a cubano breve, iced pistachio latte, and an Americano. The cubano breve was the perfect temperature and was so creamy with the right amount of sugar. I usually don't drink hot drinks, but I'll definitely get this again. The pistachio latte was also very delicious. The whipped cream tasted homemade and fresh. My favorite part was the pistachio crumble on top. It was sweet and had a little saltiness from the pistachio. Also we were so excited to be offered a complimentary Turkish delight on the side. I got lemon and my boyfriend got pistachio. Very good. We will definitely be back! And we have a punch card now to fill up for a free drink!

Wow the prices here are reasonable. They have a punch card too. They take card. It was super busy on a Sunday morning so we took ours to go but my favorite part was the tea on sale and the Turkish delight!! I like that they serve in real cups and the the shop is cozy. There was parking as well

I have a list of coffee spots and coffee roasters I want to visit. This place has been in my list for quite some time and I'm glad I finally got here. While they don't roast their own beans they do have a selection that has been roasted specifically for them. I had the Pangolin iced coffee which is pleasant. What I do like is that they have the origin of the beans on the package with the date. I was disappointed with the bagel.

Best coffee shop in Reno by far! You can always count on the customer service to be outstanding. You'll always be welcomed with a warm smile and a plethora of amazing, seasonal beverage options. The shop itself has a clean, cozy ambiance, and the coffee and food never disappoints. :-)

I had a cardamom latte and it was delicious. The drinks are unique and artfully presented. I really would have liked a Turkish coffee, but to my surprise, they don't make them. The space is brite and cleaned, but I expected warm colors and textures. Not much in the way of food options, but if you just want unique and delicious drinks, this is your place.

This is such an adorable coffee/treat shop! It's located by the Emerson-a little behind it which is probably why I never noticed it. I had the most delicious pistachio latte accompanied by a complimentary Turkish delight. I selected the lavender pistachio-so good! A sampler bag of all the Turkish delights naturally made its way home with us along with a chocolate toffee bar. Really cute seating area with comfy armchairs and superb service. 100% recommend!

Another wonderful visit to my fave coffee shop! I always do my best to drop in when I visit from Sacramento. Usually I'm able to pop in Sunday morning before heading back home which was the case this last weekend. My last two visits I ordered teas thinking that they were coffees. I finally got a coffee and it was just as good as I imagined it to be! I ordered a cuban with oat milk and it was just heavenly. The staff is always so sweet and friendly and are always very helpful with any questions they get asked. Delicious flavors that didn't overpower the coffee. I also got my Turkish Delight! One of the special flavors was a blood or have and it was perfectly tart! I have so much love for this cute coffee shop and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Wow! I've been hearing about Pangolin for quite some time and was so excited to try it recently. The barista that was working was so patient and kind. I ordered a cardamom latte with macadamia milk and it was so unique, spicy, and delicious! I loved that it wasn't overly sweet and more spice forward. I love coffee shops that prioritize using more herbal flavors instead of using lots of syrupy, sweet flavors for drinks. The decor is gorgeous, elegant but also comfy. They have really cozy velvet lounge chairs and beautiful life edge wooden tables. I also love that they include a Turkish delight with every drink (which is vegan btw). I ordered the vanilla rose Turkish delight and it was incredible! I will definitely return soon!

Neat little place. Had bagels and coffee. Both were tasty. The Turkish treat was a sweet bonus. When asked if we would be taking it to go I said no and we would like to enjoy it there. To my surprise they brought us our drinks and bagels to us in Togo options. My reason for picking this place was because I wanted to sit and enjoy a Cabano Breve out of a real cup. The people behind us got their coffee and bagels to enjoy there before we got ours. This left me a little sad because if I wanted coffee in a throwaway cup I would have went to Starbucks.

My family stopped at this great cafe on our way through Reno a few weeks back and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly and our drinks came out quickly. I tried their pistachio latte and it was amazing. I have tried pistachio lattes at a chain coffee shop and a local cafe since then and none have been anywhere near as delicious and natural tasting as at Pangolin!

Brought a friend from out of town and we loved the selection of drinks. I got the cardamom latte and she got the pistachio latte and they were both sooo good! The Turkish delight is amazing, she took some home to her boyfriend and he said it was the best he's ever had

Umm... yes yes and yes. This coffee shop was so refreshing after having to go to Starbucks the last couple of days because of time crunch. Today I decided to walk a mile in this beautiful weather to visit a new coffee shop. I love doing that in new cities. Pangolin had great reviews and I absolutely see why. Their service is fantastic; the two folks behind the counter were so pleasant and provided great recommendations and were patient with me as I decided what I wanted. I ended up being in a simple mood and opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and cinnamon on top, and it is DELISH! They also give you a Turkish Delight with any order. I had no idea what that was but the woman with the blonde hair explained to me and told me her favorite flavor (she was literally so nice). Omg and I decided to stay and drink inside and she brought my drink out which was so sweet! If I ever come back to Reno, I will absolutely be stopping by here for some good coffee and service! This is such a cute specialty coffee shop that I believe has a Turkish flair to it. I ordered the Turkish fog and yum! You can definitely taste the tea flavors and it's not drowned out by the milk or any sweetener. I believe every drink comes with a Turkish delight and boy the Turkish delight is fresh and amazeballs! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable too. A hidden gem indeed. I'll be back.

Went here on a trip from Reno, and my family loved it. Very nice staff, and they gave a free (and delicious) Turkish delight with the coffee. This spot def belongs in the nice Midtown area. The coffee had a nice, smooth nutty flavor, and it definitely kept me awake on the drive home back across the Sierra's. They have a parking lot in front that was a bit unclear of how to get into, but we were able to park in the side street with no issue. I definitely recommend and intend to come back

pangolin is such a classic in reno, the addition of their delicious turkish delights really just puts it over the top for me. their coffee itself is flavorful and fruity, well made and delicious overall. they have a great array of drink options as well. i usually enjoy myself a cortado but i tried one of their flavored lattes and it was still fantastic. not too milky which is a common problem i have with flavored lattes. both me and my friends drink had a good balance of actual coffee and espresso flavor as well as the fruity latte flavor. service here is kind and fast, they pump out the drinks super efficiently and they'll give you recommendations on what's best. ambiance here is also nice, some people working and also plenty of people chatting. the interior is small but there's a nice outdoor patio space as well. overall i'll be returning!

They are always so kind and helpful. The drinks are delicious, expertly made and consistent. I hate finding a drink I like and then when I go back it doesn't taste the same. They make the best pistachio latte in town. Every drink comes with a piece of Turkish delight and the cafe is clean and cozy.
