Me and my partner had dinner in your restaurant. The hostess asked us about the water but even 45(!) minutes of waiting it didn’t arrive so I had to ask for it again. The wine arrived after the starter was served and not before. Guests who arrived after us had their drinks already but we were still waiting even if the restaurant wasn’t full… The food is absolutely delicious but the service could be better

Google
Fantastic French restaurant showcasing authentic French techniques and fresh ingredients. Wine list was amazing. Love their choice of tableware. The restaurant was filled in a matter of minutes. The only negative point was the lack of service staff. There was only a poor guy serving the entire restaurant that night but he still managed to pull it off! Another wait staff would help ease the situation.

Everything was quite mediocre. The soupe à l’oignon was very thin and translucid, not much taste. The food itself was lacking salt and quite ordinary for €33. The risotto wasn’t cooked well and scallops felt like they were frozen. The waiter brought us the wrong wine, we ordered one of €39 ans he brought us one of €64. There are many other places way better than this one. Don’t recommend it.

This restaurant never disappoints. I dine there every time I’m in Chamonix. Christoph always makes sure that we have the best time and great meal. This chef knows how to cook, by far it’s my favorite restaurant in town.

We ordered the raclette and tomato salad, and the latter was divine. The setting was warm and cosy, with wooden cabin furniture and soft, warm lighting.

Excellent meal in a nice small restaurant. My husband and I both had a green salad, salmon and we shared the chocolate soufflé. Everything was excellent. Service was excellent.

I bring friends here every year and even for a few times per year. All of them love this restaurant. I can’t thank enough for the superb service and delicious food. Best in chamonix.

Google
Compliments to the chef. Our main course and puddings were delicious. We didn’t fancy any of the starters - would have preferred a couple of sharing plate options. The restaurant is small and had a pleasant lighting but no windows and lacks atmosphere. Would return for the food but the building lets it down.

Yelp
We were a group of 4 people went this place after hiking TMB. The place is a hidden gem and took us a while to find it. The foods were so delicious and well presented. Each of us had a different main dish, and they all very very good! The service was a little slow but we understood that good foods take time. It was worth of waiting. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Excellent meal, food quality was top notch, best foie gras I have had. Server welcomed us without a reservation. Would definitely visit again.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant. What a great find. Tucked away in a quiet alley away from the tourist noise and traffic. All our dishes were of high quality ingredients. We ordered the goat cheese ravioli and fondue dishes. Highly recommend. The ravioli melts in your mouth. Service is fantastic.

Yelp
Found this gem in Chamonix through tripadvisor and I'm so glad we checked it out. Didn't have to make reservations ahead of time, but we did arrive near opening time, so restaurant wasn't very busy yet. Ordered the escargot, foie gras, t-bone veal, and sea bass w/ scallops to share. Escargot came with 12 pieces, way more than I expected! Also came with some bread that went well together. The snails are lathered in garlic and olive oil with a nice chewy texture similar to clam. Foie gras dish had a duck paste, duck liver, and some baked stuffing. The duck paste was so so, but the duck liver was perfect. So soft and fatty, it literally melts in your mouth. Also, it's not super rich so your stomach doesn't hurt after eating it. Alternating bites with the stuffing and foie gras really helped bring the flavor out. The sea bass dish came with 2 scallops on top and 2 filets. The scallops are lightly seared on outside and perfectly cooked throughout so that it's still moist. It had lots of flavor and was a pretty sizeable piece. The sea bass was also seared while retaining the moisture. The sauce and vegetables really completed the dish. The t-bone veal was tender and soft. Parts of it were pretty fatty and that tasted really good. Dish wasn't too rich either, so it left me satisfied without an aching stomach. Service here was relatively slow. Dishes came out slowly, which I think is the style in Europe. Entire meal took about 1.5 hours and there was only 1 waitress for the entire restaurant. All in all, I loved the meal here and would love to come back.

Yelp
Such a delicious meal. My BF and I both chose from le menu -- he had the menu Savoyard and I had the other one. Everything about this meal was stellar including the service. Highly recommended as not overrun with tourists

Yelp
Food: The roast duckling was superb. Cooked to perfection with delicious side vegetables and mashed potatoes. My wife loved the beef filet even though i thought it to be slightly over spiced for my taste. The chocolate soufflé and mint ice cream for desert were amazing, as was the flaming creme brûlée. Everyone I came here with enjoyed all the food we ordered. Very well done. Service: Our waitress was wonderful. She was attentive, patient, and helpful, couldn't ask for anything more. Ambiance: Comfortable yet classy atmosphere. Chalet feel, but overall nothing remarkable about the atmosphere. Well done and pleasant.

Yelp
Chamonix has so many great restaurants but this def steals the top place for the best meal I had during my trip. We were talking about where to eat the night before at L'Impossible and were thinking of going to Munchie because it was so highly recommended. The waitress commented that it's her fave restaurant in Chamonix, second is Le Panier des 4 Saisons. When we stopped by Munchie and saw a simple pan asian menu, we decided to try Le Panier because we can get good asian food elsewhere so indulge in all the French cuisine as we can. The meal started out with a cauliflower & white truffle amuse bouche. When the amuse bouche is this good, you know there are good things to come. I ordered from the set menu. Goats cheese ravioli, dish of the day which was a steak and finished with a raspberry panna cotta. Everything was amazing. I had a taste of my friends dishes - pumpkin soup, seared foie gras, escargot, and deer. Everything was so good. I was glad we discovered this restaurant the last night of our trip because I would've gained one too many pounds eating here everyday. Most restaurants in Chamonix have great service and this place is no exception.

Yelp
Excellent service! The food was very fresh and delicious. We had the ravioli which I would highly recommend as well as the roasted duck. Paired with a great Bordeaux I have zero complaints! They even serve you a delicious pea soup in a shot glass and I would have ordered a whole vat of it, if available.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommanded to us, a Frenchman who told us it had genuine Savoyarde food without the cheesy tourist angle and hight prices. It's set back from the main street in Chamonix, up near the Hotel Richemond. We had a fixed price dinner menu wich was EUR29 pp for 32 courses and it was Excellent. We both started with goat's cheese ravioli in a cream and leek fondue wich was unforgettably. My husband had sirloin steak and i had salmon fillet in chili salt with seasonable vegetables, and we finished with the french version of a chocolate brownie. nDinner was absolutly delicious even with a good bottle of local wine the price was less than EUR80 wich is exceptional value in Chamonix. Service was also very friendly we highly recommend it!!!
