The food was DELICIOUS!!! 😋😍 We ordered the Cirò (10/10!), the Capresino (10/10!), Merlot, and an additional 2 other sandwiches that were equally delicious. The prices were great and the staff was incredibly friendly. We leave looking forward to coming back. Oh, don't miss out on taking some delicious sauce home. 😉

Google
Hidden gem near the Vatican. Small place with welcoming and friendly staff and great environment. The paninos are awesome and the price is great! Classic italian place. I would come back every week.

Google
Really delicious panini, ingredients tasted very fresh. I didn’t want pork so they had turkey as an option which was great, portions are large so me and my partner shared which was the perfect snack!

Google
This is one of those famous, but at the same time secret, stops that would have been on "No Reservations" if Bourdain stuck around long enough. Simply amazing sandwiches, from bread to meat & what holds them together! I don't even order, they just bring me something new and amazing every time, with a bottle of wine. Manuela and Ricardo are charismatic and true artists who love what they do. Highly recommend going before they move to 🇲🇽.

A nice little shop with very friendly owners. It seems to be a family business. My recommendation: the Brunello with panini is unbeatable the best!

Jasmin Colello

Google
My husband and I stumbled upon this place while on our way to the Vatican. The staff was inviting and energetic! And the Panini's were just what we needed to feed our hunger. Delicious!

Google
This is a small joint (~7 seats). It packs a flavor punch. The service is a little Italian rough but friendly. It’s very efficient also. The paninis were so so good, I think the best I’ve had in 40 years. Very unassuming place but if you’re near the Vatican and need a flavorful lunch, go here. Won’t regret!

Yoni Krivelevich

Google
Great sandwich place - great selection of sandwiches and ingredients, you can either select one of the menu sandwiches or make one your own with ingredients of your selection. Would for sure recommend for a lunch after Vatican museums. Paid 8.50 which is super fair for a customized sandwich with ingredients of that quality.

Yelp
Great food, delicious and good quality. Had the Campano + tomatoe.. excellent crispy bread. Great family people. charm, galore... Was in our way to ST Pete's after visiting the Vatican museum

Soren D.

Yelp
Open, friendly, Warm place. Sandwich under 10 EUR in 2025, excellent quality , you can strike a conversation with owner

Yelp
The gal is so much fun and the food was fabulous! Not a lot of seating inside or outside but that's kind of the charm of it.

Yelp
Best sandwich I've had in Italy! I went back for lunch the next day after trying it for first time! The owners operate the shop and are so kind, friendly, and helpful. If I was in Rome longer I would go get lunch there tomorrow. They were very helpful in recommending their favorites. They also brought out cheese for us to try as well as to meats native to Rome. It was very affordable and well worth the price. The environment is also so great got to talk to some locals while in the shop as well. Overall one of my favorite experiences eating on my trip. PS if anybody rates this one star you're crazy.

Yelp
Incredible sandwiches. If you're in Prati and need lunch, don't miss this place. I had a vegetarian sandwich with mozzarella, tomato, and pesto. Incredible flavor and delicious bread. Simple offerings, but oh so good.
google avatar

Estella B.

Yelp
Great sandwich shop with great selection of meats and cheeses, sauces in a toasted panini. Staff are friendly and speak many languages.

Nick J.

Yelp
We were quickly seated and served outside, and the paninis were amazing! I ordered the Ciro, I would highly recommend it if you're ok with some spiciness.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Was an excellent quick stop lunch grab. As their sign says they are not a restaurant but street food. You can sit if you are lucky enough to get a table outside. Service was quick and felt like they weren't thrilled with us non Italian speaking tourists at first but they seemed to warm up to us and genuinely made great food. Wouldn't hesitate to happily eat here again.

Yelp
Best panino! Get the porchetta and a glass of the house white wine. We went twice in 3 days because it was so good.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is legit -- so good and the staff is incredible. Manuela helped us along with a gentleman but we did not catch his name. Easily the best panini I've ever eaten. I loved that it was a little further away from the touristy area. Felt very authentic - don't miss it next time you're in Rome!

Simon W.

Yelp
Before we had any food, we got yelled at by the owner bc I had a bag of drinks with me while my wife ordered 3 sandwiches inside her shop. We were visiting Rome and the owner was so hostile; it was ridiculous. I don't care how good your food is if you treat your patrons this way

Ashley L.

Yelp
We asked what the best sandwiches were and each of the 3 were delicious. I especially love that the bread is served fresh and warm. Service and food could not have been better.

Yelp
After leaving the Vatican I was looking for lunch and I came across Divino. After waiting in line for a few minutes, it was my turn to get my hands on a porchetta sandwich which the staff helped me pick out. Loaded with yummy pork and fresh pecorino, this was the bomb. I finished it no questions asked. Just an amazing way to fuel up for an afternoon of touring Rome.

Yelp
Wow, what an experience. I was told by some locals about this place and I really wanted to try a Roman Panini. The choices are fast and well picked and the store owners were very pleasant and helping me decide. I got the smoked cheese with ham sun-dried tomatoes and with the help of the owner is she put on some chili paste which is the best touch for that sandwich!!!! Wish i had more days here......... The ambiance is inviting as there is Italians in many tourist they're talking.

Yelp
We stopped at Panino Divino after visiting The Vatican. It was a quick walk and prices were very reasonable. The inside is kind of small, but we took our sandwiches to go. Service was quick. I ordered the brunello which has prosciutto crudo, primosale, and chili jam.. It was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh with strong flavors. The bread was perfectly crisp and chewy. I thought it was going to be spicy with the chili jam, but it only added a little kick that I could easily handle. The sandwich was absolutely perfect. Exactly what you would expect from a deli shop in Italy. I would absolutely come here if you are in the area... or even if you aren't in the area. It is definitely worth a trip.

Yelp
Panino Di Vino was great for delicious paninis. We did a morning Vatican tour and wanted a quick bite afterwards. They do a quick toast of the focaccia which makes everything better. It had all the usual offerings-salami (5 different types-the spicy salami was the best), porchetta, mortadella, turkey, mozzarella, plus rocket, zucchini, eggplant and some other vegetarian options. Manuelita gave great service and knew just enough English to give us recommendations for great churches to visit in Rome, a restaurant in Siena and the best place to shop leather in Florence. We ate on the sidewalk over a wine barrel table. Perfect!

Yelp
little hole in the wall! amazing service, super nice people. food was so fresh and delicious and very reasonable price. definitely a great quick lunch spot!

Yelp
The sandwich was tasting very well. This was my first stop near Vatican after a long train ride. The owners are truly sweet and hospitable and made sure you feel at home at this place. Highly recommended

Mark A.

Yelp
The bread is so good. Sandwiches are tasty but light. Service is the best, our server spoke several languages
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
The Ciro is the best panini I've ever tasted. Guanciale FTW. Affordable options, blocks away from the Vatican. Roman street food at it's best.
google avatar

Marilyn N.

Yelp
One of the best sandwiches I had in Italy and better food options in Rome. We went here right before visiting the Vatican museum, which was only about less than a 10 minutes walk away. There's a few seating inside the small shop and outside as well. The menu is quite extensive so there's a sandwich for everyone's test. My boyfriend and I opted for the ciro since it had chili in it. The ciro panini included black pork cheek grill, cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and chili jam. It was a perfect mixture of sweet, savory, and crunch. I noticed that they sell a bunch of different jarred items including the spicy jam. This is a great meal or snack before or after the Vatican museum!
google avatar

Adrianna U.

Yelp
These paninis are so good here! I actually came here twice on my trip because it was so good. It's really close to Vatican City, so after all the sight-seeing works up your appetite, this is the perfect place. The meats and cheeses are all so fresh. Get the Ciro if you like spice. They have this spicy chili jam that is soooo good, they even sell it if you want to bring it home. There's not much seating on the inside and outside, but we were able to find seating both times.

Yelp
This was my favorite meal in Rome! I had a sandwich with mortadella, mozzarella, and arugula. It was SO delicious. The owner was so friendly and super helpful. If highly recommend!!
google avatar

Brandie T.

Yelp
Insanely delicious panino - get the porchetta add chili jam!! Limited seating outside but worth it!
google avatar

Anand P.

Yelp
Friendly service. Very taste panini. Fresh ingredients, beautiful flavor in a nice crispy bread.
google avatar

Yelp
Panini was amazing! Maybe best I've ever had. Bread was toasted perfectly. Had the CIRCO with chili jam and sun dried tomatoes. Awesome! Service was super friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was pretty good, but the girl was not very nice. I went back to order just another water and she got angry that I bought it separately.

olivia b.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing panini's!!!! Sweetest owner and workers, you have to go here if you are in Rome.
google avatar

Vivi B.

Yelp
Fabulous panini--got the Nero D'avolo and it was crispy, hot and delicious!! Very friendly people running the place too. Recommend!
google avatar

Mach B.

Yelp
The server was rude and kicked me out before I finished my stale sandwich. I do not recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Extremely delicious sandwiches, salad and charcuterie! Must try at Rome! (very close to Vatican museum so a great way to take a break from your day)

Kelly Z.

Yelp
Truffle mushroom salami panini was great! The staff speaks English too, price also super reasonable

Yelp
You are greeted by two friendly people as you enter. The friendly raspy-voiced woman appreciates your effort at Italian when you say Bongiorno but she talks to you in English anyways. You tell her you want a spicy sandwich with porchetta, maybe eggplant and arugula. She suggests cheese instead of eggplant. You concur. The guy starts your order by slicing thick pieces off the ginormous roast pork in the meat case. When you ask the woman if you can charge your phone she guides you to a corner seat near an outlet. She brings the sandwich in a few minutes and types the free WiFi password into my phone when I ask her for it. PS The sandwich was just as amazing as the service.

Caroline W.

Yelp
The nicest owners and best paninis ever! If you go to Rome and don't make it to Panino Divino, you are missing out!!

Grace L.

Yelp
Delicious! The panini's are freshly made right in the shop. The staff was very nice and attentive. It was a great spot to go to for lunch. Our group went to get lunch before our tour of the Vatican. The walk was short from Panino Divino to the Vatican! If you're looking for an easy, quick, affordable lunch spot, this is the place to be!

Doug P.

Yelp
Ordered the most popular sandwich: the Ciro. Best panini I've ever had. Words can't do it justice. I ordered it to go and couldn't stop eating it in the restaurant. Best money (€7) I've spent for food on this trip that has already included 5 countries. A must try!

Brittany A.

Yelp
Amazing! On the way or near by by the Vatican. Cant go wrong with any sandwiches plus you can get them to go! Also, have a nice cold white wine with the heat
google avatar

Lewis M.

Yelp
Had the Amarone which was porchetta with chicory. Great little spot after the Vatican. Very few seats inside. Can maybe fit four people. Just took it to go and walked around. I would come here again and try other stuff if this was closer to our hotel

Myranda S.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick lunch before heading to St. Peter's basilica and had a wonderful experience. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is very friendly and the panini are the best we had during our trip. Definitely a must try if you are in the area!
google avatar

Mounika V.

Yelp
I got the panini with pork cheek. Walked 3 miles to come here and it was worth every step. The lady that took my order was so cute. Definitely best panini in Italy!
google avatar

Hen A.

Yelp
6€ panini sandwiches...2,50€ wine and 1€ soda...great sandwich choices..lunch before vatican tour....walking distance from the vatican...quick order and cup of wine while waiting...taking one with some spice and savory flavors..another sandwich with milder creamy flavors...both great and one of best panini had in italy...small counter seating inside..
google avatar

Sandra H.

Yelp
Amazing lunch! Such great sandwiches. On the way to the Vatican - stop here. We tried 2 and both were so good!! Crusty bread helped fuel the trip to the top of St Peter's basilica cupola! See pics and don't miss this!
google avatar

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place after visiting the Vatican. It's a small sandwich shop with a few seats inside that's probably intended to be a grab and go. The behind the counter staff is friendly and accommodating. The sandwiches or should I say paninis are made on Italian breads with fresh cheese and meats. I could see, smell, and taste the quality of the food. It's a good sandwich, but is it so out of this world I'd walk a mile for it? Ehh, prob not. Don't get me wrong, the sandwich has its pros. But, it's a sandwich. A sandwich with bread, meat, and cheese. It was a little dry too. Would I come back? If it was convenient, but I wouldn't make a trip for it. Overall, 3.5 stars!
google avatar

Laura D.

Yelp
Great place to grab lunch next to the Vatican with a wide variety of paninis at different price points. We were starving after spending all morning in the Vatican museum. This was just a short walk away and the paninis fully rejuvenated us! I got the turkey and zucchini (probably not the best option - I should've stuck with ham). We arrived at around 1ish and there was inside seating which was much appreciated as it was too cold to eat outdoors.
google avatar

Rutuja J.

Yelp
Delicious. Got the Ciró sandwich, which had a complex and unique sweet-spicy jam. Sister got the Caprese sandwich (vegetarian) and loved how fresh it tasted. Staff was very welcoming. One of my favorite quick meals in Rome!
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
This is a terrific sandwich spot near the Vatican! The Yelp reviews are spot on about this place. The owners are very friendly, and the sandwiches are great. Seating is limited, but you don't need much room to eat some panini. We shared two sandwiches, one with finocchione and the other with mortadella. Great choices! We had two sandwiches and two drinks for less than 15€!!
google avatar

Jennifer Z.

Yelp
GET THE MERLOT PANINI WITH CHILLI JAM. The chilli jam is amazing and even though it costs extra it definitely compliments the sandwich. I felt like Rome generally had smaller portions of food but this sandwich was definitely fairly large even in American standards. The panini is relatively cheap too which is a plus. Walked around 15 minutes here on a snowy day and have no regrets.
google avatar

Abben H.

Yelp
Found this place near the Vatican and I was impressed with the paninis here! They have a unique take on sandwiches and the ingredients are really fresh! There was a small group there that also recommended to me the cheese platter but I was just grabbing food so I didn't have time. I ended up getting the pork cheek and chili jam panini and it was amazing. The chili jam adds just a small amount of heat so you don't need to worry about it being too spicy. I only wish that it was a little larger because I ended up getting some pasta from another place.

Yelp
Here's some quick cliff notes for hungry folks looking for something quick and easy. I don't know how else to rate this place but a five star. Covering everything you want, amazing quality food, affordable, and great service from the staff. A+! Raymond & Ashley from St Louis MO.
