Panorama Hotel Davos

I called the hotel at approximately 5 min before 10am CET on 12/21/23 to ask about about general information on the 1 bedroom suites. The elderly gentleman who answered the phone was the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever come across at a hotel. He yelled at me that he could not give me that information and that "I should know that". He proceeded to say that "you called before and you know that I cannot give you that information". I had never called the hotel before and was shocked to get this type of hostile reaction that was completely inaccurate. I hope that this person is dealt with immediately so other guests, potential guests are not exposed to such poor service. If this person is a manager, then I am shocked that the hotel would allow such unprofessional behavior from management. My boss is booked in this hotel for WEF and I am now reconsidering our reservation for fear that his experience will be horrible.

Overall nice Hotel, some minor flaws but a very friendly multilingual staff and a nice view from most rooms!

Pro: Location is great. Con: hotel lacks charm, the parking lot may not be accessible if you don't have four wheel drive and in slippery conditions even if you do, and lots of stuff is broken. There was nowhere for us to park without taking the Thule roof box off of our car. The front entrance to the garage is broken and the back is a steep, muddy ramp that leads to an entrance barely wide enough to get through. Service the first night at the restaurant was terrible (took over an hour to get food and when it came one plate was missing and two were undercooked chicken) but has been much better since. One night we didn't have hot water. I informed the staff and they are busy repairing it. Luckily we noticed when we did. 10 minutes later reception would be closed and we couldn't have reported it until 7am. We weren't so lucky the next day when we discovered the lack of hot water for a second time upon waking up.

This rating is for the restaurant, no experience with hotel. Tasty, healthy menu options. Decent value on main street in Davos. Nice views. Very friendly and caring service. New master chef very customer focused. Lot's of expertise with craft beers and matching them with meals.

Extraordinary friendly and helpful staff. It's a mountain bike hotel so you get lift tickets for the region for free. Possibility to shower after your ride on day of departure. Underground parking for regular cars (height limit - if I remember right 195 cm). Limited parking for vans.

I loved staying in this hotel. It is cosy and good though some of the stuff is old, should be repaired etc. Nevertheless we loved staying there, personnel is great and friendly. We didn't quite understand the trick with keys and 22pm because we didn;t have any challneges accessing the building at night. The other concern was breakfast - when we came several times there was no coffee, or some of the empty bottles (with juice etc) were not refilled - and it might happen as at very early minutes of breakfast as well as in the end of breakfast hours. It was a bit confusing because in the morning I was always in a hurry. Other than that, I loved staying there - and we had amazing view from our hotel room ;)

Very professional front desk manager, super welcoming and friendly. Great waitress knowledgeable and friendly... But their GM is a shame for the hospitality industry, unable to resolve basic customer complaints and failing to deliver elementary representation of the hotel. In such competitive world, where hotel managers are the key for business success, their GM is damaging the hard work of the hotel team and misrepresenting the establishment. So much potential for this hotel, but with such manager in charge, unable to take ownership and turn negative guest experiences in solution oriented answers is a complete no-go. You even don't need to attend a big hotel school to understand the basics of customer relationship. But this GM failed and deliver such substandard experience. What a disappointment, especially towards the devoted employees of Panorama Hotel Davos.

Communistic style interior and exterior. Underinvested. No charm. Penetrant smell in the Hotel like used vegatable oil. In the rooms also a funny sweet. Massively overpriced for what it is on top.
