Panorama Hotel Taiping

Shows its age. Light refurbishment done. Housekeeping can be better. The reason why we stay here is the great cafe downstairs. Food is lovely and affordable! Nostalgia for me is another reason why I like this hotel. Might not suit everyone but it works for me.

It's good to be back here and it brings back tonnes of memories. Still the same and the food taste good. Well taste good for me at least. Chicken chop and the local delights like fried noodle are awesome. Milkshake is nice as well.

Room condition is quite ok but unfortunately it's to basic , no hot water kettle (mean no coffee tea) how ever hot water flask will be delivered very quickly upon request , no mini bar, no tissue paper (beside toilet paper) We were given room without any view. Staff are friendly and helpful !

The building and decoration itself are nice. I rent a room with a double + single bed, the room is spacious and cool enough but the beds aren't that comfy. The only sockets available in that room are for fridge and tv. We had to turn them off to charge our devices or use hair straightener. No hot shower either. Others are fine.

Despite being one of the oldest landmark in Taiping, this hotel is still standing strong. Although the hotel has some renovations done, but it could be improved as the toilet is still quite worn out, some old furnishings need to be replaced. However with the rates, you can't expect much of it. We are quite pleased with our stay here, but we don't mind paying more if there's improvements done as suggested as this hotel is very convenient and service offered is very good as well. Please preserve this hotel as we would want to come back for our next stay!

Cleanliness is good. But facility is not so good. I have expected at least electric kettle for hot water and some coffee or tea packets. But nothing. Just 2 small bottles mineral water and glass. Overall experience is good. Nice to stay for one night.

When asked for iron , sent immediately to the room. 8. Good location. Very near to Taiping Mall. Walking distance. Really recommended. I will 100% return to this hotel for next visit in Taiping.

Decent and comfortable place to stay. Situated in the middle of all the landmark which make us convenient to travel. The rooms are clean and the staff here are very friendly. Must try the cafe food. The food is beyond words for the price we paid. Delicious.
