Pansion Tramontana rooms & restaurant

Restaurant unreasonably expensive for the quality you get. I ordered a burger for 14€, fries were not included so I ordered fries and the sauce was not included. The quality was ok but for that price I expected more, the burger had the meat, some sauce, lettuce and tomato slices which weren't cleaned properly and nothing else. Also gin tonic costs 7 or 8€ and you get a small quantity (I think 0.2L) It does have a nice view and atmosphere.

Keep coming back 4 the last 14 years, we love the vibes! Great people, very good local food, U can always choose between fish, meat or vegetarian, and U'll never be hungry here. Pretty decent accomodation, don't expect 5 stars, but everything is made with love, and more that U will need, plus If U need anything extra, just talk to Nina & Robi, they will make things happen! This is a place to relax & enjoy the nature, after a week U might forget about the outside world. It's a very special vibe, somehow minimalistic and romantic, we love it!

I had the pleasure of staying at Pansion Tramontana in the charming village of Beli from 31st July to 2nd August 2025. Despite a complete power blackout during our stay, the experience remained truly enjoyable thanks to the peaceful atmosphere and warm hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Ivan, whose kindness and helpfulness stood out. Even in the challenging situation of the blackout, he made sure that we felt comfortable and well taken care of. His calm and friendly manner made a big difference and created a very welcoming feeling. The surroundings are beautiful, the nature is breathtaking, and the location offers a perfect retreat for those seeking rest, hiking, or exploring Cres Island. I highly recommend Pansion Tramontana for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing experience in Croatia – and I’d gladly return again in the future. Warm regards, David

The worst hotel experience of my life. We had to check out earlier than planned because of extreme noise and disturbance — quiet hours are not respected, and guests partied until late at night in the restaurant right under the windows. The air conditioner was very loud and the choice was either to suffer its noise or listen to the party outside. The rooms were small, not clean, and the whole property needs renovation. At check-in we were even given the wrong room, smaller and cheaper. Prices are too high for what is offered, and parking is insufficient. Overall, very disappointing.

A lovely place. The sound of cicadas and smell of the island is captivating when the ferry is approaching to the shore. At the end of a winding serpentine road, the pansion has a unique athmosphere: Not a five star hotel of course, much more romantic. The rooms clean and cozy, the decoration made by local artists. The food is delicious, bringing mediterranean flavours from local producers, when you are having your meal and sipping wine on the terrace kids and dogs are playing around. Sheep are wondering and baaing by the road to Pod Beli and it is steep but very much worth it to go up and down on foot, so you can feel your lungs filled with fresh air and muscles working. The sea is cristal clear, do not forget to bring snorkeling equipment, a tent or parasol to give shelter from the sun and shoes to walk on pebbles. The Beli Visitor and Rescue Centre for Griffon Vultures plays a vital role in protecting this endangered species, which nests on cliffs directly above the sea. When you are going on a boat trip or just settle at a hidden beach you can spot nests and these huge scavenger birds are circling above your head. Pansion Tramontana is a family business, Nina, her husband and the whole team are excellent hosts, they pay attention to everything, any problems can be solved, any personal wishes fulfilled. Unforgettable experience for those who need harmony with nature and their own self and looking for real value. Definitely not for selfie-takers :).

We had a great two night stay at the Pansion - the staff was super nice and accommodating. The food was awesome too!

Splendid location. The food was delicious. The waiter was super friendly and humorous. One of the rare restaurants in the region serving vegetarian and vegan dishes.
