Pantai Batu Belig

It’s a good spot for the sunset, but I came too early. The parking fee for motorbikes doesn’t make sense Rp. 5k for a motorbike, while at Seminyak Beach it’s only Rp. 2k, or even free if you come after 8 pm.

Volcanic, black sand. Water was cool which is normal for ocean temp. The sand was so hot we couldn't walk on it(end of aug). We decided we prefer to stay around the pool where we are staying.

This scenic beach offers the best options for capturing stunning dawn and dusk pictures. It’s a beautiful and serene place, with a relaxed atmosphere. Despite its popularity, it’s not overly crowded. I’ve even seen many people jogging in the morning, even during rain.

This is a beach in between Seminyak and Canggu but without the tourist vibe. Clean and quieter and, of course, the sunsets are the same. A good range of places to eat, drink and relax (review from Apr 2024). As of Dec 2024, it has changed a lot. All the cool warungs have being replaced with brick and mortar buildings. There is a concrete path now along the beach which is nice but the beach is less accessible. Perhaps 4 stars now!!

beautiful public beach for sunset and crowd watching, surrounded by well-known beach clubs such as Mari Beach Club and Cafe Del Mar so you could enjoy their music for free! you could just sit/lay on the beach OR you could buy drinks (beer or coconut water) from the locals that also will provide you with a stools. the best way to get there is by motorcycle and you only have to pay around Rp2.000,-. There's also a stream of water carved through the beach if you walk around 800 m northwest.

Pantai Batu Belig is truly beautiful with its clean sand and relatively large waves. However, the access to the beach is heavily congested, both going and coming back. Despite the traffic, we found this beach much nicer than Kuta Beach – clean and less crowded. We enjoyed playing on the beach with the kids and witnessing a stunning sunset.

A nice beach to relax and enjoy the sunset. The waves are a bit strong, but the atmosphere is calm and the view is beautiful.
