We had a great time here! Herman and his team made us feel at home. The room was very clean and confortable. The location is close to the city center, a bit noisy from the main street but like most places. Herman was very flexible, helped us rent a bike and organize a boat trip. He let us stay at his place until late at night after check out while we were waiting to catch our ferry. Thank you very much and hope to see you again

The rooms are huge, the bathroom is also huge, but it wasn't clean at all considering that the owner is an expat. Tables are dusty, the cloth need to be replaced. If you're a light sleeper then the noise from the traffic will keep you stay awake all night. They have sea walls with smelly water. For the price, it's not a good value at all. We only stayed there for one night then moved to a clean hotel for the same price.

This place is fantastic. I came without a booking and they gave me a great room. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Susi was so kind, she helped me get transportation to Larantuka when the airport was closed. And she made me breakfast at 6am. One of the best places I stayed in Flores!

Wish I could give this place more stars. Susie is the best any problem or issue we had with our trip she had a solution too and knew exactly who to call. Delicious breakfast every morning. Friendly place with spacious rooms. Can't rate it highly enough. The one con is if you are a light sleeper there is some road noise that will wake you up early.

This is the most enjoyable stay we ever had in Indonesia so far. The owners Herman and Susi were very friendly and very helpful. They made us really feel home. The room doesn’t have hot water but the weather was nice enough so it didn’t matter. Coffee and tea were available for free all through the day and even in the evening. Breakfast was included too and very tasty. Herman and Susi offered us lunch before we leave though they are not really doing restaurant, as we were planned to have a long drive to our next stop. Susi helped us a lot to organize our car and trip, giving advice and tips

We had a wonderful stay at Pantai Paris Eco Homestay. The place is a true oasis, very green and directly next to the ocean. The room was basic, but really good and super clean with fan and mosquito net. So all we needed. Breakfast was great with a choice between omelette and pancakes. Unlimited water/tea/coffee all day. The owners do everything for their guests. Recommendations for restaurants, organizing the best transport at a good price and whatever else you need. We asked where we can buy mosquito repellent and 5 minutes later someone brought it from the shop next door. What a service. Thank you so much Herman and Susie. We felt so so welcome. If we ever come back to Maumere it will be at your place 🙏😊

Susi and her Husband, Herman, are definitely among our nicest memories in Flores! They make you feel like home. Susi helped us to figure our way to places we wanted to see so many times during our stay. The breakfast is so good and the place feels like a peaceful oasis. I would recommend anyone to stay at Pantai Paris Homestay so they could experience the warm and kind home of Susi and Herman 😊

Location is a bit out of the way it’s easier to rent a motorbike when staying here as there isn’t much around this area and it’s off a main road. There is a laminated paper in the room that states motorbike rental but we were told on arrival there isn’t any motorbikes for rent & we had to walk over an hour to get one. The rooms are comfortable, big comfy bed with mosquito net and outside bathroom. A single fan in the room which could prove to be insufficient at night time if its a particularly hot day. When we arrived we were greeted and put into a room but were later told we had to move as we had been put in the wrong one. The balcony areas are nice to relax on and there is a washing line for laundry. The outdoor space was pleasant by the sea front but there is no beach here just rocks. The water refill station was for a donation fee and not free but you got free hot water, tea and coffee provided throughout the day. The breakfast provided was tasty, either an omelette & toast or pancakes, all served with a bowl of fruit and homemade jam (this was delicious). We were diving at 7:30am one morning and asked for breakfast to be served early. We were told breakfast started at 7am and Susi was reluctant to serve before this time initially but did agree to make it for 6:45am. The breakfast was still late and came out just before 7am which meant we had to rush to the dive centre which was a 30 minute drive away for our boat which left at 7:30am causing us to feel stressed. On the laminated paper in in the room it also informed breakfast to be from 6am - 10am which again was incorrect information. For $20 per night I found it to be overpriced and less authentic in terms of an experience, we have stayed in other homestays for less and have been greeted with more of a family approach. We did however get free laundry after staying for 4 nights plus which was a nice touch.
