Location is a bit out of the way it’s easier to rent a motorbike when staying here as there isn’t much around this area and it’s off a main road. There is a laminated paper in the room that states motorbike rental but we were told on arrival there isn’t any motorbikes for rent & we had to walk over an hour to get one. The rooms are comfortable, big comfy bed with mosquito net and outside bathroom. A single fan in the room which could prove to be insufficient at night time if its a particularly hot day. When we arrived we were greeted and put into a room but were later told we had to move as we had been put in the wrong one. The balcony areas are nice to relax on and there is a washing line for laundry. The outdoor space was pleasant by the sea front but there is no beach here just rocks. The water refill station was for a donation fee and not free but you got free hot water, tea and coffee provided throughout the day. The breakfast provided was tasty, either an omelette & toast or pancakes, all served with a bowl of fruit and homemade jam (this was delicious). We were diving at 7:30am one morning and asked for breakfast to be served early. We were told breakfast started at 7am and Susi was reluctant to serve before this time initially but did agree to make it for 6:45am. The breakfast was still late and came out just before 7am which meant we had to rush to the dive centre which was a 30 minute drive away for our boat which left at 7:30am causing us to feel stressed. On the laminated paper in in the room it also informed breakfast to be from 6am - 10am which again was incorrect information. For $20 per night I found it to be overpriced and less authentic in terms of an experience, we have stayed in other homestays for less and have been greeted with more of a family approach. We did however get free laundry after staying for 4 nights plus which was a nice touch.
