A Truly Memorable Experience – Above and Beyond Service
We had a reservation for 6:45 PM but, unfortunately, our flight into Dubrovnik was delayed by nearly two hours. I called the restaurant to explain the situation, expecting we might need to cancel. To my surprise and great relief, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, they offered us a new reservation at 9:30 PM without hesitation. That level of generosity and understanding set the tone for the entire evening.
The food was nothing short of incredible. I had the slow-braised ox cheek, which was deeply flavorful and comforting—like a warm, hearty meal you'd have at home, only elevated. We also ordered the veal cutlet, which was a special that night, and it was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Our waiter was not only attentive but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu. He guided us through the dishes and recommended a wine that paired perfectly with my meal.
One of the biggest highlights for me personally was the availability of gluten-free bread and the fact that the menu was clearly marked with gluten-free options. As someone who needs to avoid gluten, this attention to detail made the experience all the more enjoyable and stress-free.
I would recommend this restaurant a thousand times over. From the exceptional food to the welcoming and accommodating staff, it was an unforgettable dining experience in Dubrovnik
