I like the place and what they offer, but after my last visit I don’t think I will return.
I had exactly 15 minutes for a quick drink. When I walked in, there was only one woman at the register. She was talking with the customer she was serving, and the conversation just kept going without anything happening. Two or three minutes passed and nothing changed.
When I thought they had finally finished their conversation and that I would be able to order, the customer rolled up her sleeve and started showing her tattoos. At that moment another staff member joined them, and the three of them happily continued chatting and showing each other their tattoos. They seemed completely unconcerned, as if they were not at work and there wasn’t another person waiting to order, but rather as if they were just having coffee together and enjoying themselves.
After waiting long enough, I had to ask, “Will I be able to order?” Only then did I get a chance to place my order, and I was given a rather unpleasant look.
I have worked in the service industry myself, and it is completely unacceptable to chat about personal matters while customers are waiting to be served. It shows a very low level of service and, simply put, a lack of respect.
