15 Best Rome Airbnbs, Including a Stay Overlooking the Pantheon

"Bed & bath: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroomTop amenities: Prime position to enjoy Rome’s coolest neighborhood, air conditioning, indoor fireplaceNearby attractions: Monti is a destination in itself—but it’s a quick walk from the Colosseum and an easy stroll down to Piazza Venezia and main drag Via del Corso Monti, in between the Colosseum and Rome’s main train station, Termini, is one of the trendiest parts of the city with sightseeing galore, and this attic apartment in the middle of the action is the place to enjoy the boutiques, bars, and restaurants. An elevator whisks you up to the sunny top floor, where the apartment sits under the eaves of the building. It’s a fairytale place, with exposed beams, a fireplace carved from the building’s chimney, and rustic varnished wooden doors. There’s one bedroom (and a sofa, if you have guests), a simple bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen-dining area. Word of warning: There are a few stairs within the apartment, due to the ancient building layout." - Julia Buckley

Stayed here for two nights while my family of 4 adults travelled across Italy. This hotel was in a great location, walking distance to many thing's you'll want to see, pantheon, Spanish steps and trevi fountain to name a few, right in the shopping and tourist area. A very safe area to walk around in and many stores and restaurants. Breakfast was included which was handy, kids had a separate room which was nice, a bit tight for space but we managed. elevator worked which was great. Never heard any noise from the streets.

We stayed here for a week whilst exploring Rome. It’s a lovely little place in a perfect location. |Do be mindful that it’s a busy spot, but it’s also vibrant and full of life, and that’s what we were seeking. Our room was compact but had everything we needed, including a little balcony over the street. The staff were friendly and the breakfast provided was varied and more than ample. Highly recommended. ☺️

Start with the only positive. It’s in a very good location of Rome right next to the Pantheon square however it’s very noisy all through the night.|Negatives … certainly not luxury. We booked the balcony room with two bedroom asking for second room bed to be made up. On arrival bed was not made up and no balcony. Reception guy was not interested even after we sent a email complaining still not interested so we were stuck and couldn’t move. Stayed there for three nights. Walls are paper thin so hear everything in the Next room. Bathroom was horrendous as per photos, never have I showered in such an awful shower could not swing a cat and not enjoyable at all. Would not recommend this and price was expensive for what you get

As recent reviews have said all round ideal location, hotel just perfect for us…. ||||Yes the walls are a little thin, maybe people booking and reading these should bear than in mind if they stay and respect others but the rooms are so nice, really made our trip.||||Can’t speak highly enough of the staff, our flight got brought forward 6 hours and they had 3 phones going trying to get us a taxi to speed to the airport.||||Regarding finding the hotel, remember this is an old style location and your not going to get neon lights saying hotel… we found it find do some research to the look of the main entrance and you’ll be find……||||Will book again.

The location of this place is what we loved. Literally a few steps and you are in front of the pantheon as well as near lots of bars etc but also only a couple of minutes walk to a super market. There are pros and cons though. There were not many plug sockets and these were behind the bedside tables so awkward to get to. This apartment is up three flights of stairs but there is a small lift. The shower for me was not great, it was a big one over head and always leaked cold water even when you pushed the button to use the other shower head, and the cubicle was small. However, there was a free breakfast, the wifi was good, bed comfy, clean towels every day and the small balcony was perfect for a couple of beers in the sunshine at about 4pm I would not hesitate to stay again but wanted to give my honest feedback

Hard to find on the street as not sign posted other than the door buzzer. As pictured the lift is up a few of the steps and is rather small.|The entrance and stairs to rooms are decorated nicely, we were in room 6 which is the top floor and lots of extra steps to carry luggage up. The room was nice and felt clean, the shower only allows one person at a time to use it otherwise the water overflows into the bathroom.|To get up to the room from the street you need 3 keys and go through 4 doors which makes it feel secure and the room also has a key lock safe.|Breakfast was in the room still and you had to collect what you wanted from their new kitchen area fitted the day we arrived. It was nice to not have to rush to breakfast for a specific time and be able to get ready while eating at your leisure enjoy the view from the room.|The staff were very friendly, sending us recommendations and arranging our airport transfer as we checked out at 6.50am before things opened.|Great central location for everywhere we went and just seconds from the Pantheon.|I would recommend anyone staying with large suitcases to get a taxi to the door or at least the Pantheon as it’s a very busy area during the day.

Stayed here for a night in Rome, hotel is perfect location by pantheon and trevi fountain a short walk. The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Room had a small balcony which was lovely. Rommel was fabulous to keep up communication with regard check in times etc. great value for money. Only thing could be improved is breakfast as due to covid restrictions breakfast choice was not great and no kettle in room meant that we had to go down to kitchenette and make it there.

What a wonderful place to stay. The room was beautiful and clean, conveniently located with great views. However, the most outstanding point was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. You guys are amazing!
