Great coffee shop in the heart of Coconut Grove. The vibe is super chill and minimalist, with a tropical feel—perfect for working, meeting up with friends, or just relaxing solo. Coffee is excellent. I had an iced latte with macadamia milk and it was smooth and rich. They also have cold brew, espresso flights, and some solid vegan snacks (like mushroom empanadas and gluten-free cookies). Prices are on the higher side (my latte was around $8), and the service can be a little slow during busy times. But overall, totally worth it if you’re into specialty coffee and good ambiance. Will definitely be back.☕🌴

Google
Panther Coffee offers quality drinks in a friendly environment. This is their 3rd location that I visited, and I always try something new. This time I had their Miami Fog drink and it tasted excellent. There's plenty of seating and service is friendly.

Google
Wanted a cold brew red eye over ice. Instead I ended us with an iced latte with 50% milk. Not my typical iced beverage. Nice ambiance, Love privately run book stores with character. there is plenty of Character here.

I came to panther coffee many times before and I always saw it as a 3.5/5 coffee shop due to them not perfecting milk coffees like lattes for example. I tried their pourover with their Yemen beans and it is one of the best in Miami. If you are an espresso person that likes fresh coffees without milk this place is for you. The atmosphere and location of panther is also one of my favorites in Miami.

Google
TLDR; average coffee, weird empanadas. Not the best place to get work done. We came in on our last day in Miami to get some work done here, and oh boy, does it get loud in here! Because it’s a small space, the noises behind the counter and very audible and the midday rush gets very chaotic too. We ordered two empanadas - the mushroom and the onion - and they both tasted really odd. The texture was chewy - almost like they had been cooked from a frozen state, and not very well. The coffee is honestly just ok.

Google
I met up with someone at Panther Coffee in Coconut Grove, and even though it was pretty crowded, we still managed to grab a seat inside. There’s also outdoor seating if you prefer being out in the fresh air. Despite the buzz of people, the vibe stayed super casual and relaxed, and we had no problem hearing each other and having a good conversation. The space has that laid back, local feel, and the coffee selection is great. It’s a great spot to meet up, and just hang out to talk it’s not a place I would try to get some work done. They offer free self serve water, which is a lifesaver!

I have been coming here since 2021. Even now that i no longer live in Miami, I make sure to swing by whenever I am in town

Google
Panther Coffee manages to get almost everything wrong. The service is slow and indifferent to the point of feeling hostile. The seats are uncomfortable enough to make you reconsider staying at all. The coffee is sour and unbalanced with none of the depth or warmth you would hope for. There is no sense of local character in the space and nothing about it invites you to linger. It feels like a place more interested in its own name than in the people it serves.

Yelp
Panther Coffee is easily one of the most well-recognized and best coffee spots in Miami, and this Coconut Grove location lives up to the hype. The espresso here is fantastic--smooth, rich, and everything you want from a great cup of coffee. I also tried the vegan empanada, and it was a delicious surprise! Perfectly flaky on the outside and flavorful on the inside, it paired wonderfully with my coffee. Service was speedy and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. The vibe is laid-back and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax, get some work done, or just people-watch in the Grove. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this Panther Coffee location is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Love the coffee here! It's good for To go and very casual. The specials and any latte are just insane. I wish they had a cuter space or a place to hang out but otherwise one of the best coffee places in Miami. Service is awesome as well.

Yelp
I can't believe that I haven't reviewed the OG panther coffee. Panther coffee is a vibe. It's high end coffee. It's a bit on the pricy side. But you get the whole package. It's a great spot to sit and people watch and work. This is my fav location . I ordered a regular latte it came out to $ 9 dollars with vanilla . A bit steep but it's for the vibes and overall ambiance. Music is on POINT ! I love panther coffee . Service is great. Parking is tricky though .

Yelp
There's no doubt about the quality of Panther's coffee. It's top notch. I remember visiting the Wynwood location back in high school on a field trip(yes, a field trip to Panther Coffee) where we learned about their incredible process and the quality of the beans. Deducted a star just because the menu is honestly so boring. For a place with such amazing coffee, I understand letting the coffee do the talking but a little creativity with the menu would be nice. There's only one seasonal drink at a time(it's currently the Miami Fog which I had last time and it was very good) but other than that, you've got a basic coffee menu with three flavor options and high prices. Again, top notch quality though. If you're looking for a no-frills coffee joint, this is definitely it. If you like something more fancy and creative, not the place.

Yelp
Great coffee and they offer macadamia milk which I find it hard to find. Everywhere has oat milk but not macadamia so I'm happy for that. The vegan empanadas here are so yummy too! They have vegan muffins and empanadas. Seems to be more quiet during the week and weekends are packed so plan accordingly. Love the coffee here and the vibe.

Yelp
Let's just say you can never go wrong with panthers coffee... but when I found out that Breville used their beans to trouble shoot my machine I had to try out all their roasts! Fresh beans for home, full body flavor, and yes, you heard that right they are the bean of choice from Breville themselves! So for a taste of panther at home grab some beans! Loving it!

Yelp
The OG creators of locally roasted coffee in Miami. Located in Coconut Grove, this spot is in the center of it all when you need a coffee fix. They also have a bit of space if you want to post up with your laptop for a bit. Traditionally, I like my coffee black. However, I find the Panther is a bit too acidic for my taste. I usually add oat milk here and really enjoy their cold brew with oat milk. They have an assortment of iced and hot beverages as well as a few grab and go food and drink items. When you're in the mood for caffeine, supporting local like Panther is always the best fix.

Yelp
Panther coffee is always a good idea! While in the Coconut Grove area I needed a "pick me up" and decided to get an iced latte. The staff was kind and friendly, the shop was clean and organized, and the coffee was delicious. What more could you want? The decor in the store is also cool and comfortable. You have plenty of drink options as well as some snacks. Definitely a great spot to sip on some coffee and relax or get some some work done!

Yelp
Best coffee in Miami 10/10 Been coming to Panther for years at this point, even before the Cocowalk renovation and it's been such a staple to the grove for years This is a specialty espresso bar so their drinks are incredibly good for a refine coffee palette. A lot of people just expect coffee shops to have a wide variety of flavors or different sort of drinks. Here the menu is small but it gives you the opportunity to try different sort of roasts and batches from different countries and side of the coast. Their tea menu is also very good if you are into that as well. I like their new addition of the lavender syrup to be a permanent flavor instead of seasonal, I also learned they make their syrups in store so they are homemade which makes it more special to me, seeing how much craft they put into their coffee. The miami fog is really delicious too if you are into Thai tea or tea in general this variation will be very pleasant to try even tho is seasonal at the moment. Customer service has gotten really better and super friendly, Claudia is always super helpful. The store is small but has lots of seating, during the week days it's less packed and more convenient if you need to study or chill so I would take that in consideration when coming to the store to seat down.
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
Miami fog was really delicious - creamy with two shots of espresso Definitely stop by if you're in the area

Cyrus G.

Yelp
Well located, but incompetent staff, poor wi-fi and pricey to boot. I ordered a warm croissant. It was not. I ordered a hot latte extra hot. It was warm but not hot and certainly not extra hot. People come here because it has plenty of tables? They like paying $8.00 for a small blueberry muffin? Beats me. Stay away.
google avatar

Yelp
Go to coffee in Miami, predictably artisanal. Had their East Coast espresso and was really impressed by how balanced it was. Their haiti blend is also very chocolatey and I would highly recommend it for any milk drinks. Service should be pretty fast but can get slowed down a ton of people coming. It's a little dim inside but should be fine for people studying.

Yelp
Decided to come here to support a local business instead of a corporation but was quite taken aback when my oat latte was 8.50! The barista didn't even allow me to request a receipt, I was about to select an option and she ended the session. I was still shocked by the price and didn't speak up about my lack of receipt. Shame on me. Latte tasted like a 5 dollar latte I could get somewhere else.

Ryan

Yelp
Ambiance and decor is nice! The coffee was not it, very disappointed. Service was good..
google avatar

Kathy K.

Yelp
We stopped by for a hot beverage at this cute coffee shop in Coconut Grove. I opted for an herbal tea. I had the Ginger Turmeric $4.50 with a side of oat milk in a ceramic cup. We enjoyed our drink inside.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
On our first morning in Miami, I figured instead of going to Starbucks I should try something local, so Panther Coffee definitely seemed to fit the bill. I got a medium Chai Latte with oat milk, a lemonade, and an oatmeal breakfast cookie. The Chai Latte is certainly a slight cut above Starbucks, mostly because it doesn't seem as sweet. The cookie initially threw me for a loop, because it's hardly sweet at all and the texture is closer to a dense muffin than a cookie. The more I ate it, though, the more I enjoyed it. It's quite tasty and the oat flavor really comes through. The service was friendly enough, though kind of aloof.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome alternative to Charbucks that is across the street. Great croisants and coffee. Friendly staff and seating outside to people watch.
google avatar

Eric W.

Yelp
I need to amend an earlier review. I hadnt been to Panther in a couple months so stopped by the Grove location on Sunday to grab a coffee. Coffee is still good but the charge for a 16oz. ready brew - with tax - was $7.38! That's just drip coffee, black. Glad I didn't order a latte. Are those $10? I get inflation, but I'll stick with the home brew for the time being.
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect spot to grab good coffee and cowork. I came here recently with my work bestie and really enjoyed my time. I ordered a cold brew coffee, extra shot of espresso and a splash of oatmilk - just how I like it. My friend got their matcha latte unsweetened and it was perfect! Their croissants are also delish and the staff are always very nice and welcoming. It does get a bit cold so make sure to get a cardigan with you if you're going to stay there for a while, like we did.

Heather B.

Yelp
Meh. Got 2 drinks. Our coffee was good, but the iced latte got quickly watered down from all the ice they put in it. For the price, perhaps using coffee ice cubes?
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Quality coffee and friendly service! Only downside is it has limited seating but still managed to snag a seat without issue.
google avatar

T. S.

Yelp
The coffee is consistently great here and there's always seating. I paid $9 for an oat latte and couldn't understand why. The 15 % gratuity is included but then the screen to add gratuity pops up. This is deceptive and very off putting as it wasn't mentioned. When I asked, I was told it was written on the menu. Most of us know what kind of coffee we will order so who looks at a menu? AND the expectation is that cashiers are friendly-never experienced that here. Employers should pay a fare wage then the cashiers might not be so misleading. It all felt manipulative-be more transparent and write it in large font by the register and take away the tip prompt screen. I think being more transparent is a better business model and shows more integrity.

Yelp
Panther has a cute little patio that shielded us from the downpour of rain! I got the vanilla cold brew and loved it. Staff was so friendly and drinks came out fast.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to be a daily patron and fan of Panther Coffee for five years. Just moved back to Miami and went there for the first time in 4 years. First of all, I ordered a nitro cold brew "for here" and was served in a flimsy plastic cup instead of a glass. Secondly, my bill for that coffee with a tip came out to $13!!! When I went to the bathroom it was absolutely filthy, with urine all over the floor, an overflowing trash can, and a giant steaming pile of in the clogged toilet. Besides the general ambiance, which ten years ago was a cool industrial look is now just dirty and tired. Coconut grove has so many wonderful places to go for a lovely cup of coffee, Panther should be dead last in your list.

Yelp
Traveling around Florida recently I tried a lot of coffee roasters. I didn't get to Panther until the end, but out of all the Florida coffee, panther was the most impressive. I loved that they had 2 espresso options of offer- east coast blend and west coast blend. I tried both, and both were good. Would have loved to try their cold brew and other offerings.
google avatar

Yelp
Great local spot for coffee. They have espresso flights, which are pretty fun. We went here almost every single day while we were in the area.

Yelp
April 2, 2023: I took transit from North Beach to come meet a friend who was working at Panta Queen. I planned to work on my laptop there. But I wanted to walk around Coconut Grove first. And then I wanted to sit somewhere where I wouldn't have to pay for waiter service, because I was low on cash. First I ate fajitas from across the street. I ate them at a table at the CocoWalk outdoor mall. then I discovered panther coffee. I got an iced coffee. It was tasty. I used the Wi-Fi. And I sat in the window which gave me a great view of people walking by. It's a nice place to work. There are lots of outlets to plug in your computer and phone.

Yelp
While hangin' in the Grove for the afternoon, I had stopped by the Barnacle, then popped over to Books & Books and finally decided to grab a quick pick me up at Panther. I'd visited the Wynwood location (a LONG time ago), but never took the time to try this location. I loved it! Great vibes, very friendly staff and solid coffee. The barista recommend I try their pour over coffee and that the Colombian bean was her favorite. It was delicious! Sweet with tropical fruit notes. A nice departure from your regular bland, black coffee (i.e. what I normally drink on the regular). I definitely plan on returning with friends and/or to work. Miami needs more coffee shops like this!

Yelp
On one hand, the coffee is delicious. Always. Flavor, acidity, temperature, foam in the milk, everything on point every time... the service is nice, they take apple pay, google pay and every other form of pay, contactless or otherwise... but on the other hand, paying $8 for a medium-sized latte (and very little for a "medium"at that) makes me feel a bit abused sometimes... Overall, I know I will come back, because it's very good coffee, but there is some buyer's remorse after.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in the grove. Oh so perfectly located next to a local book store. They do automatically add gratuity, but the staff is so friendly, I don't even mind. Their pricing is def on the splurge side, but hey, it's a treat & they don't disappoint.

Cille H.

Yelp
Great coffee. It's sad because I spend around $50-$100 a week on coffee here and I've had many many poor experiences with the staff. I come in with a big smile and ready to initiate positive interactions. I treat the staff warmly, even when they find a way to make what little interaction we have unpleasant. They can't even treat their loyal customers with kindness. I don't know, maybe I am just used to southern hospitality, but Miami is getting ridiculous with the attitude. Must be some very unhappy people working there, it's sad. Specifically the female staff. The lady with blue streaks in her hair can be very unpleasant. I really kept coming back because the coffee is just that good. Anyway it's wildly expensive, $8+ for a tiny iced latte. I'm going to take my business elsewhere, preferably somewhere that values it.

Sophie B.

Yelp
Coffee is awesome I got an iced coffee and the barista was very nice. There are lots of pastries in the case. The vibes of the coffee shop are awesome. Would definitely go again
google avatar

Audrey S.

Yelp
Delicious coffee. My macadamia milk latte was definitely quality. Super appreciate that they don't upcharge for vegan milk. That said, it's expensive. $6 for a latte pre-tip. Not the best work environment. A few tables indoors and a few outside. Didn't see many (any?) outlets and the area and tables are fairly small. The wifi had full bars but didn't work for me or the guy next to me. Service is fairly typical of upscale coffee joints. Not the friendliest, but quick and not rude by any means. All told, seems a good place to grab coffee to-go, not so much to stay a while.

Nick G.

Yelp
Their tipping system is misleading!! This is the reason tipping is frowned upon!! Coming from an industry worker for 12+ years. Be aware, that there is already 15% included as a service fee in the price of the coffee. When I asked why the price was different from the menu, the cashier looked at the menu and didn't have an answer. After a minute she mentioned the 15% being included with a small sign on the register. I asked for it to be removed (I always leave cash gratuity) and she said this can't be done. Legally this HAS to be done if requested. All I felt was SCAM going on. And then when the tipping option comes up on the screen, it doesn't prompt for 3% or 5% additional... it asks for 18% - 20% ON TOP of the 15% they are already getting. Again, this is what is ruining the idea for tips!!! Funny how the cashier skipped this screen VERY quickly for me not to see it. Lastly, if you ask for a copy of your receipt, you may notice an alcohol tax, even if you are only buying a coffee... WHY? They say it is necessary but being an industry worker, I ASSURE you it is not. HORRIBLE.

Connie R.

Yelp
This is the worst coffee place in Coconut Grove. First they sell a "Brazilian Original coffee" and it tastes bad (as if it's sour) and it's the same taste as their "original"coffee. BRAZILIAN coffee is delicious everywhere else. Second, they charge you a service fee of 15% for the baristas and then when you go pay they ask for a 18% or 20% TIP ! So what is this extra tip for ? They justify saying that there's a note about the 15% written right close to the cashier but nobody for sure can pay attention to that and most of customers for sure end up paying 33 % more in a single coffee !!! I mean my $7 dollars Nitro cold brew ended up as $12 ! And the Nitro vanilla cold foam was horrible same bad taste as their "Brazilian coffee" and no vanilla cold nitro foam... I'll never go back.
google avatar

Tia J.

Yelp
Beautiful coffee place located right in the middle of Wynwood Walls. First time here, and it was FABULOUS!!!! Their coffee just has that "more-ish" taste to it ;) and you can tell it's the REAL DEAL
google avatar

Guy K.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -Panther Coffee's location in the Grove aka Coconut Grove is a easy to get to coffee shop. -It's a nice place to grab a quick cup of joe. -You'll see working professionals, friends and bicyclists who will stop here. -The drip coffee was good & strong which is good enough for me. Overall, this a nice coffee shop within this hustling & bustling beautiful part of Miami.

Dale M.

Yelp
First time here this morning and had a latte. It was more of a flavored milk drink than espresso tasting. Milk was over textured as well.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Went here on 4/23/21 and had an unsweetened tumeric latte. It was fine, nothing stood out to me, other than that the shop was really dark. Sat by the window to drink my drink and for my husband to finish his coffee. Adequate.
google avatar

Hanna S.

Yelp
Excellent coffee Safe setting with much plexi glass Vegan empanada and vegan chocolate chip cookie they can even warm up. It has a nice oatmeal flavor to it as well. Thank you for having something for us plant-based eaters The more I learn about panther coffee values the more I like them. There are many panther coffee scattered throughout the city of Miami.
google avatar

Akash P.

Yelp
My experience could be better. The coffee was really good and there were an okay amount of choices. The only reason that i gave a low star was because they are not loyal to their word. I had ordered a food item that showed on their counter as $4 but I was charged $5. I had also ordered 4 of this item but when I had talk to the manager she told me that this was a mistake and took the price tag off the counter and told me that she can't refund me nor can she do anything about it. This is not professional. If you made a mistake, accept it and do what is right. Also this place is charging an alcohol fee?? I had no alcohol. I understand the service fee because that is everywhere, but a 1% alcohol fee. This is ridiculous!

Joe F.

Yelp
This was a nice experience but quite busy on a weekend morning (to be expected). The espresso is great on its own, east coast better than the west coast blend which is very acidic. I like how they give you a free drink if you buy a bag of beans! Makes the beans very competitively priced for the quality. Overall, not quite as nice as some of their other locations but a great spot to get high quality coffee. Very friendly baristas at each of the locations we've been to.
google avatar

Richard D.

Yelp
Walking stop is it unfriendly never said please thank you, no manners whatsoever I took him two dollars in cash when I tried to buy another product and it was short hands up it would not help me out he told me too bad. Would not go back to her again with that Staff working
google avatar

Brandon P.

Yelp
Every time I visit Coconut Groove I make a visit here. I order a classic cappuccino. Video on location is up on below social media.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
I do like their coffee, but the prices are outrageous. I still can't believe I spent $16 on a drink and a croissant. The ambiance is nice, I love the employees and the vibe... but honestly the prices make me sad that capitalism has infected a place that used to be such a cool vibe.
google avatar

Herb Q.

Yelp
Miami classic! The cappuccino is very well-made. The service is great. So far I would say this might be one of the most consistent places to get a specialty coffee drink.
google avatar

Bernard S.

Yelp
Before I get into why I am giving this location a poor review, let me state that I'm a fan of Panther Coffee and have been to the original Wynwood location several times. So upon my first visit to the Grove store I had high expectations. Here's the run down, 1. Entire staff were just " going through the motions". No smiles nor friendliness at all. 2. Wait time for a latte was excessively long 3. Drink was just averay. I could have done better at home 4. My buddy asked for a Cold brew, upon asking for some whole milk was given skim milk ftom thr fridge- despite the fact that there WAS whole milk on the counter. 5. Store was fairly filthy. Tables in front were left with garbage on them the entire time we were there , about 20 minutes. There is a Starbucks directly across the street. Now I know why they're doing way more business.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Love their nitro brew (add oat milk) & vegan banana chocolate muffin! Such a cute coffee shop!
google avatar

Christopher H.

Yelp
I was in last week for a coffee and was a little surprised that the business is a "card and contactless" payments only place that wont accept US cash . Had been hoping to try their coffee and support a local shop. Unfortunately , I'm also the type who wont put a $3 cup of coffee on my credit card and I don't have a debit card. Had already "masked up" to comply with the stores policy tho I think its not needed, so wasn't really happy to begin with. I ended up walking across the street to the Big Chain coffee shop and had some of their raunchy stale coffee instead . Ill bet the Panther coffee is a little fresher and might taste better . The Big Chain coffee shops does accept US cash , so they got my money instead and I choked down their nasty coffee .
