Where to Try Columbus-Style Pizza in Ohio

"A Grandview Heights favorite since 1964, this no-frills stop sticks to long-held recipes for housemade dough, balanced tomato sauce and smoky provolone to produce reliably classic, square-cut pizzas. Family continuity continues under a relative of the founders, and signature combinations like the Freddy Special (pepperoni, sausage, ham, tomato and garlic) keep the place packed on local event nights. It’s an everyman, party-cut pizzeria that emphasizes tradition over trendiness." - Wendy Pramik

Deeeeelicious! Absolutely love the Crazy All the Way pizza. Excellent toppings and the crust is crisp, yet fluffy..... perfection!

Michelle Katona

Google
A wonderful family owned business that's been around since 1964. The people are so friendly and the original owner is still working there it seems. The pizza is pretty good. We got a jalepeño and mushroom pizza, and they were not stingy with the toppings at all, very generous amounts. The only bad thing was that the crust did not seem super flavorful and was a little crispy. All in all I would visit again!

Emily Boyd

Google
This family run pizza shop is one of the best in the city! Not only is the food top tier but the service is impeccable 💯 Make sure you stop by if you are in the Grandview area! You won’t regret it 💙

Google
This was our final stop to complete the Columbus pizza trail - and it did not disappoint! Please be advised - there is NO SEATING inside this location, but there is a covered patio that makes this a good location to dine in during warmer months, even during the rain (and it did rain while we were here). The pizza was great - a nice, thin crust that had a clean taste to it. They crisped the pepperoni pretty much perfectly. All in all I enjoyed this pizza very much, and it was a great place to complete the pizza trail!

Carl Onorato III

Google
My family Onorato's have purchased their food for 3 generations. My father grew up with them, I crave a Italian sub but I'm in Florida so I'm SOL gim so glad you are still in business

Alexander Pacilio

Google
Crust was fluffy but crunchy. Kind of gave me a Jet's pizza crust vibe. Got the half sausage/ pepperoni. Was pretty good. Cheese was nothing special but it certainly was not a bad pizza by any stretch. $17 total for the 15" pizza.

Google
Looks a little different. Sweet older lady! Very good thin crust pizza! My 5 and 3 year old loved it! Highly recommend

Nathan Crouse

Google
This is Columbus pizza. Donatos get out of here! Love the thin crust. The crunch is real people! If you don't like this place, you don't know pizza! Large pepperoni and a beer. What else do you need? Worth every penny.

Yelp
I stopped by here on a whim after working at a market nearby and was so incredibly impressed that I went out of my way to go back another day. The crust is so thin and crispy but not like a cracker, it still has that chewy texture I love in pizza dough. The sauce has a nice flavor and consistency and they don't put too much on. I was incredibly surprised by this unassuming place and pizza and will gladly be back in the future. I had great quick service both times I've visited as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Great pizza. Old school pizzeria and ovens. They know how to make a reasonable and traditional pizza.
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
Another recent find due to Experience Columbus' Pizza Trail. The pizza is really good, with more pepper than you usually get from a pizza place, so it has some nice heat to it, and the cheese is perfectly melty. I did take out, but they also seem to have a nice patio if you want to eat your pizza out of a box outdoors and people-watch. The app they use is fine for ordering and terrible at tracking the actual order status, so if it says your pizza will be ready at a certain time, I would trust that instead of the tracker.

Yelp
This pizza was really delicious. The sauce was flavorful and the sausage and tomato toppings were generously proportioned and fresh. We ordered a 13" pizza and two of us split it for dinner; there were no leftovers, but we also weren't left hungry. The biggest issue for us was that staff weren't wearing masks correctly or at all. The person at the counter had a mask, but only over their mouth. And, the guy making the pizza had his mask down around his chin. They clearly know they're supposed to be wearing masks, but couldn't put in the effort to do it right. While I doubt we'll get sick from our brief interaction with them in the store during our pickup, this just made us trust them and their cleanliness a bit less.

Yelp
Loved this pizza. First time trying Panzerra's and really enjoyed the crust, the sauce and cheese. Our pizza was an extra sauce, extra cheese pizza. We ordered a large which was enough for 2-3 people. The sauce was flavorful and the perfect amount of cheese. I would order here again

Yelp
Pizza was fine. Not my taste. Biggest win for this location: low prices (esp garlic bread & soda) Staff is great and very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered a pizza for my family for takeout. I arrived and went inside while my husband waited in the car. The clerk was talking to a friend/patron at the counter and I was not acknowledged. I grabbed a water and waited for the clerk to finish his discussion. Five minutes went by and I placed my water on the counter, hoping I would be served. They kept talking and was joined by a woman. I stayed a few more minutes and left. I ordered Westside Slice. I was never even glanced at. My hungry toddlers had to wait with my husband and got no pizza. Whatever was going on with that clerk in how he ignored me blows my mind. Very rude and arrogant. Never again.
google avatar

Yelp
More toppings on a Stouffers French bread pizza. I have noticed this from other pizza places as well (Iaconos and Sparano's) last few months. Not sure if it's due to inflation or what the reason. But very disappointed for the price we paid for a large and a small pizza (38 dollars) . With all the options around, will not return here. They skimped on the toppings so much I could have eaten the entire large. Ordered extra sauce and you would have thought I told them light on the sauce. If you desperate one evening because Rotolos is closed by 9 and you want a pizza, then this will be OK in a pinch but don't be prepared to be impressed. Tommy's and Benny's Pizza will continue to be the go to places for me. And Adriatico's. The pictures I see in other reviews (28 days ago). in the past did not look like my pizza. Not even close and that one had extra sauce on it. It actually looked pretty good. I feel violated.
google avatar

Christopher W.

Yelp
Damn Good pizza. Crust is crispy, sauce is sweet and has this almost wine reduction taste to it that is fantastic. As a guy who likes light sauce on pizza, even I would recommend to get extra sauce as they go very light on sauce. Overall, this will be a regular of mine now. So Give this place a try and support a small business. You will not regret it.

Yelp
One of the best Columbus style pizzas in the city! I love thin crust and this place does it just right. This is my go-to when i'm in a pinch or just craving some crispy pizza. Great prices too. Say hi to Fred when you go!

Yelp
If I could 0 stars I would. DO NOT EAT HERE. As soon as I pulled up, Carlo, creepily stared at me for several minutes as I looked through their menu. Carlo then came out and told me to "figure it out quickly" or to leave their parking lot. Carlo is apparently the owner**** (should close up and find a new hobby). The only reason I was there was to complete the Columbus Pizza Trail. Quite frankly, I will NOT be trying Panzera due to Carlo's rude hospitality. Panzera should get off of the pizza trail if they don't want new customers. There were 9 of us looking forward to trying their pizza, but they clearly did not want our business. And we clearly don't want to spend our money here. Check out Grandads Pizza that's right down the street, that was awesome service and some awesome pizza. (See picture below for Carlo.)
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
Food is ok. Do not order online. They will claim they didn't get the order, but your card will be charged. I was also insulted as I left because I objected to them trying to charge me twice.
google avatar

Hannah L.

Yelp
Solid pizza, good prices, prompt timing. Crust was a bit dry and could've had a little more sauce, but very solid.
google avatar

Steven P.

Yelp
Wow Growing up in the Grandview area. There were only two great pizza places in town. This is one of them. (The other one, see my other review. ) Needed something quick for dinner. Going in To pick up the order, who else but Carlos behind the counter, running the oven's. Theses are the old style gas ones with the bricks. This is how you cook pizza's. Not on a conveyor belt. The place smelled great, and is clean. Welcomed as soon as I got in, and I was early. Gotta have this food fresh and hot out of the oven. For me I just wanted a salad. I wish I took a picture of the chef salad I ordered. This was a work of art. They say you eat with your eyes. I was very happy. This was an good salad. Fresh lettuce, good amount of toppings. All fresh and beautiful. Was envious of those getting pizza. They rubbed it in on me and my gorgeous salad. Don't worry when my diet ends I will have to get a pie. My brother goes there often and likes to kid me about how good it is, and he is picky about pizza. This is a highly recommended stop. Please pick it up fresh and hot. Don't rely on the delivery guys. Nothing bad on them. But be careful. You might munch on the little ends when you are driving home with it. Please visit.

Andrew G.

Yelp
Didn't even make it inside before getting rude service. Was doing the pizza trail with friends and we were waiting for everyone to arrive. Some guy Carl came out and told us to either come in or get towed. He should probably work somewhere not with people or they should get off the pizza trail.

House M.

Yelp
Went back into this local pizza place to see if their products had improved over when I stopped buying pizza there several years ago. Not only has their food continued to decline, as is evidenced by their lack of business, but their owner/manager(?) was so angry and aggressive about questioning the name under which the pizza had been ordered, I thought he was going to come over the counter at me. Of course he didn't accept my offer to simply provide me a refund to solve his issue. This experience of simply picking up dinner was so upsetting and aggravating, I'd encourage you to question if you want all this drama, just to get a less than average dinner. Owner tried to aggravate me further with a comment as I was leaving. No need to get the final word, "Mr. Panzera"! You had already succeeded in ruining me as a customer. I won't be back!
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
I don't know what the food tastes like. I ordered and told them where I lived, NorthBank Condominiums. I was told that we are outside the mile limit. I asked what the mile limit was. He said 3 miles. Northbank Condominiums is 2.2 miles. See attached picture. I then told them Rotolo's delivers to Northbank Condominium because it's on 5th Ave as well. I was told by the man on the phone "then order from them." I was also told by this man that "we don't need any more business. ". This was on 7/31/20 around 4:00 pm. Who talks like that to a customer? I will never order from Panzara''s Pizza again. I will share my story to the word near and far. There are so many other local businesses that would appreciate the business during Covid-19. We ordered from Adriaticos instead and had a wonderful evening.
google avatar

Sam P.

Yelp
Friendly people but the pizza seemed to have little taste. The charred crispy crust overpowered the pizza taste. The overall lack of taste on the pizza made me contemplate getting tested for covid due to loss of taste. I got a pepperoni pie.

Hillary J.

Yelp
We ordered 3 pizzas from Panzera's in Grandview last night. The person who took my order was very friendly and was happy to accommodate a specific pickup time. Food was ready right on time and was OUTSTANDING. The description is accurate when they say thin, crispy crust. Generous toppings and super flavorful. The atmosphere is nothing special, but the food was well worth the drive.
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
I used to say that the Grandview area was pizza central for the Columbus metro area. Panzera's, Rotolo's, Leonardo's and Tommy's were the big names to be reckoned with. These folks sure knew their stuff and set the bar high for other pizza places. Fast forward many, many years, and it's the same people working here. Mr. Lombardi working the register and his son, I think, working along side of him. Felt like I'd stepped back in time for a moment. It's been a long time since my last visit as I remember the last time I got a large pepperoni pizza for about $11 or so. Today? a medium veg for almost $15.75....so it's been a while. It hasn't changed much. Theirs is a thin cracker crust pizza with a decent amount of toppings, baked just right. Decent flavor, crispy crust with that edge that crunches in your mouth. It's still as good as I remember it. I'm going back again.

michelle l.

Yelp
The butcher block pizza was delicious. Thin crispy crust. Sauce was really good. We also got an order of meatballs which were great. Would come here again if I lived closer.
google avatar

Emma L.

Yelp
If you're in the Grandview area and want some pizza, Panzera's is definitely an A-OK option. I've only ever had delivery adn they have always shown up when they said they would and my order has always been correct -- two very important things when it comes to delivery. The "Crowd Pleaser" is our fave and comes with pepperoni, mushroom, banana pepper, and onion (around $19 for a large). Panzera's crust is thin and cracker-like, which is a nice change of pace sometimes. They cut their pies into squares, so if you're not into that, now you know. We also always get the "Garlic Loaf with Cheese" ($3.25) because when do you ever get pizza without cheesy garlic bread? I know not. Theirs is truly just ok, it comes on a sub bun, isn't overly toasted (no crunchy cheese bits or browning at all, really) and last time we ordered it did not come with a marinara for dipping. Sad face. We keep Panzera's in our delivery rotation because it hits the spot every now and then. Bonus, they often offer coupons through the Grandview Saver mailer.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
The Crowd Pleaser is a revelation: earthy mushrooms, bright green peppers, savory pepperoni, and tangy banana peppers. It's a genius combination. The pepperoni are the key, as they use the quarter-sized variety which acquire a slight char on the edge...mmm, perfect. I agree with some other reviewers that the sauce is rather bland, so your overall enjoyment may stand on your choice of toppings. However, Panzera's achieves a harmonious balance between all four elements of the pizza, which is a pretty rare thing. The crust is thin and very crispy, not my usual jam, but a nice change of pace for a guy who is used to the two dominant Chicago styles. If you go with a group, the thin crust and grid-sliced format make it easy to order several types and share. Three quick notes: - No oregano on the tables - No indoor seating, just a patio - Bottled and canned drinks only. This is fine, except that Panzera's provides no recycling bin, only trash. For shame! Solid 3.5 stars.

Yelp
I finally tried Panzers for the first time last night. Their location is extremely clean and everyone I came into contact with on the staff was helpful. Food arrived on time and looked great. Only thing I would say is they need to do something about the flavor of the crust to combat the sweetness of their pizza sauce. The crust was a little bland and the sauce was a little to sweet. I would give them another shot but maybe try their thick crust.

Leah H.

Yelp
This place is listed on the Columbus Pizza Trail so me and a few friends were going to try it out, we pulled up and we're beginning to ponder the menu while we waited on the rest of the group to show, and it being a small place, we wanted to figure out how we were going to go about eating at this establishment. Well we figured it out pretty quickly due to the horrible hospitality of Carl... immediately after pulling in he stares VERY creepily at us through the window, after about 60 seconds of the consistent staring, he comes outside to ask what we are doing.... Which should of been obvious because we just pulled into the restaurant, we are trying to figure out what pizza we wanna order and proceeds to tell us to "figure it out quickly" ... I proceeded to say okay we are just waiting on the rest of our group and told us to "figure it out or we are going to get towed" MIND YOU we have been is this parking lot for a grand total of maybe 120 seconds....Carl better figure it out because you just turned away about 12 people wanting to feast on your pizza, due to Carl. also would advise to take this place off of the pizza trail, since they immediately seemed to get so sketched out of our large party. 0/5. Do not recommend. Poor hospitality.

Yelp
We branched out a little bit, and decided to hit up Panzera's in Grandview area after our Go-to pizza spot was closed on Sundays, a minor error of brain lapse on my part. This place is in a nice little happening spot of Grandview ave. The place is tiny, and has maybe two tables, plastic lawn chairs for seats, and a nice huge TV for your viewing pleasure. They have a really nice patio, which probably makes for some mean people watching, and pizza noshing come the warmer months. The warmth of working pizza ovens was a nice delight to the snowy existence just feet outside from us. The place is cozy, no frills... just a standard Mom & Pop take out spot. Fred was in the back (see picture), along with a couple other young gentleman running the place. We kept our order pretty simple... Just a plain ol' pepp and chesse, and a meatball sub. Both were equally tasty, but did not fill any missing pizza void in my pizza loving heart. The crust was not an ohio pie thin, but just a slight bit more thickness to it. Sadly, I had to rate it along the lines of a Red Baron crust--- Too thick, and too crunchy. The toppings were pretty excellent, and overall it's not a bad pizza. It's nice if you live within the Grandview Heights area, but it wasn't one of those places to schedule and entire trip around by any means. It unfortunately did not prove to be a good 'Next day' pizza. It became quite spongy and pretty sad. A nice little pizza staple to Grandview area, but no top winner in my books. Still worth a try.
google avatar

William S.

Yelp
Just had my first Panzera's pizza in probably 25+ years, and it was absolutely everything I remember. Superb crust, great toppings, balanced seasoning in the sauce. I've been living in New York, where they think they know pizza, but anything I've had there is one small step above a Little Seizures pizza compared to this piece of crusty heaven we just consumed. This is the one folks. Don't continue living a sad shell of existence: get yourself Panzera's.
google avatar

Sanford R.

Yelp
Recently moved to Grandview and was searching for the best pizza in town and gave Panzera's a chance. The pizza looked great but the taste let me down. The crust was overcooked and tasted like the cardboard box it came in. I ordered the People's choice. The sauce was plain jane and the pepperoni was hard to find. I ate 1/2 the pizza without crust and didn't even save the rest. They need to taste Masseys or Rubinos.

Mike D.

Yelp
This place is an institution to some of the best pizza in Columbus. If you love pizza, go no further. I had a pep mush tonight. It was killer! Many try, but the Blodgett oven and consistent quality set the bar high. I would seriously retire this place to the all time hall of fame of pizza. I wish I could get this good of a pie in Los Angeles. Go out of your way to pick one up. So worth it.

Yelp
Here goes, I been going to Panzeras for a long time. I live in Dublin so for me to go there, it's basically an hour round trip. My wife and I have always loved the food and have told everyone they should try it, best pizza, pasta ever we said, and it is great. So I call in my usual Sunday night dinner order (always around $30.00,) I'm standing at the counter ready to pay when the guy nicely asks, "will there be anything else?) I say yes, actually I would like to grab 5 or 6 packs of parmesan cheese. As I'm saying this, another guy comes out of the restroom and around the counter. The guy that was taking care of me starts to look sort of out of the corner of his eye towards the guy that just came around the counter, then that guy loudly says, "whatta you need." That sort of took me by surprise but I again, nicely said, "can I get 5 or 6 packs of parmesan cheese. That guy then said "you can get as many as you want, they're .75¢ each." I grinned slightly, thinking he was totally joking and said, "well, maybe just a couple then that comes with my two meals will be o.k. the guy then says that the meals don't come with any parmesan packets. I honestly thought he was still joking around. I said are you serious, you really don't give a couple packs of parmesan cheese with your Italian dinners, he said "NO, I TOLD YOU THEY WERE .75¢ EACH" and turned away and walked to the back of the kitchen. I then asked the first guy was he serious and he embarrassingly said yes, he charges .75¢ each for parmesan packets. I quietly scooped up my food and drove the 30 minutes back home to Dublin, with no parmesan cheese. This is really very sad and pathetic. It would be like McDonalds charging you .75¢ for every pack of ketchup. I have never ordered pizza or pasta anywhere in my life, and I've lived in 8 different states where you're expected to pay for condiments. I mean, I could maybe understand if he was on such a low profit margin he may need to charge say .10¢ to cover his costs but MY GOD, .75¢ REALLY? As everyone knows, we have tons of great Italian food in the Columbus area, none of them that would charge you .75¢ for a pack of parmesan by the way so I will continue to give my hard earned money to Anges Pizza on GoDown Rd where the food is always delicious and they ASK YOU if you would care for any parmesan, red pepper, plates or napkins and don't charge you for it, imagine that! Obviously Panzeras doesn't need my $30-$35.00 a week so I will never go back there again. It's a real shame that people can become so focused on such petty things. Knowing what I know now, I'm surprised he doesn't charge you for the box to put your pizza in. I noticed it's also the only place I've ever been to that doesn't put tomatoes on their salads unless you pay extra for them. Times must be tough at old Panzeras, their sales will definitely drop $35.00 next week and from then on. You need to pick your battles Panzeras, so sad, I'll miss you

Anthony A.

Yelp
Lazy dudes. Never pick up the phone within an hour of closing. Guess you guys don't like money.
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
Well we called there to do a decent size order and the person on the phone was rude. Why would I do business with someone who is rude? From the looks of the comments, seems like a change is needed. From decor to essential toppings, I don't think this place is worth it compared to the many out there happy to help! Sorry. But it's a no for me.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
This is pizza we have been ordering for 18 years in Grandview. Tried to use an expired coupon (unknowingly) and was called back to be told they don't use coupons anymore. With all the other options in this town, not sure why the company would fight me over $2. The delivery driver took ownership in the dispute to tell me they have been in biz for 55 years and don't need coupons. Well I don't need to be given a weird experience about a simple pizza coupon. Good luck to you.
google avatar

Joshua B.

Yelp
Pizza places abound at this intersection of grandview and 5th Panzera's Pizza "interesting name" has sweet sauce and the best part of this pizza. The menu has some additional items that will feed your hungry appetite. This place definitely hit the spot.
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
A go-to pizza place in Grandview. The pizza is solid and consistently good. It's never overcooked or burnt.

Andrew R.

Yelp
Ordered an Italian sub and it was not in oven for more than 2 minutes and not hot enough to meet health standards. The cheese was not even melted. Then there was NO Italian dressing on it, I mean none. These people have very poor judgment of clientele and are turning away A list customers. They are pooch lovers.

Yelp
Panzera's Pizza is a modest pizza joint in the heart of Grandview. I was introduced to it many years ago, and it has held up over time as a solid pie choice. We stopped in right when they opened on a Friday evening and got a medium Crowd Pleaser - pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and banana pepper. Note: everything about Panzera's pizza is made to show off their fresh toppings, so pile them on. They cook those toppings well, yet the thin crust manages to remain cracker-crisp yet unburned. The sauce is thin, tomato-y and wants pepper - add it on top of the slices and it works out fine. A medium will feed two people. It's outdoor seating only, but the patio is covered they'll bring your food to you when it's ready. Definitely A-OK.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
if you look at the pizza we got we only got onions so from that choice we could probably expect how good it was. it tasted like cheese on sara lee bread with some onion on it that was warmed in a toaster over, but luckily that's what I was in the mood for. will probably be a repeat customer
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
The wife and I hit up Panzera's this week. Panzera's does not offer a lot of seating in the dead of winter, but I can see how it would be a great place to patio it up in the spring and summer with a pizza and beer (since few people dine in during the winter, the beer selection appeared to be what was left over from the warmer seasons (i.e. the old Silver Bullet)). Panzera's serves up an Ohio rectangular-cut pie. Unlike many Ohio pizzas, you do get a little hilt of crust to hang onto around the edge. The crust itself, by the rim, is thin and VERY crispy. No chewiness or large air pockets here and your conversation may be hindered by the loud crunching sounds of your dining companions as they hit the rim. We ordered up our normal pep and shroom. The pepperoni was nice and cupped with a spicy zing and great flavor. The amount of cheese was perfect, and it was spread partly over the toppings (leaving the toppings to poke through, and the pepperoni to curl up). The pizza was too light on sauce for my liking, but was otherwise very good. Having recently delved into side dishes with our pizza, we also ordered up two meatballs. They were nicely seasoned and fairly large (a good value for $1.50). While they came with tons of sauce, I found the sauce to be a little bland for my tastes (I like the Batman, "Zing, Pow, Bam" type sauces). Overall, Panzera's is a great local establishment that serves up a very nice thin crust pizza - a solid three stars.

Yelp
I'm in a mission to step out of my comfort zone (aka Dewey's) and try several of the pizza shops UA and Grandview provide. If you're looking for a good ol' traditional thin crust pizza, Panzera's will meet your expectations. I tried the Crowd Pleaser pizza (pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, banana peppers,) and it was pretty darn good. Service was quick, and pricing was reasonable, too. Check it out!

Yelp
I can't believe there are no reviews for this place yet! My husband and I went to see a movie at the Drexel Theater in Grandview and then decided to take a walk to find some food. This place was just a few minutes down the road and had a nice outdoor patio. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. We got a medium pizza with half mushrooms and half cheese. The pizza came out pretty fast and it was nice and hot. The crust was thin, but chewy. The sauce was tasty and I like that they sprinkled some Italian herbs on top. There were a few too many mushrooms, but the amount of cheese was just right in my opinion (not too much). They also cut the pieces really small, which to me is kind of like short chapters in a book. It makes it easier to enjoy. I love cheap, informal restaurants and this place was awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE their pizza. My #1 local pizza choice!! Always fresh ingredients and arrives hot, have ordered many times. Thank you, Panzera's for never disappointing!

Yelp
If you are craving good pizza or pastas Panzera's is the place to go. My boyfriend and I ordered Manacotti, cheesey bread and pizza and it was outstanding. The pizza has a great crunch, delivery guy was very polite and it was a lot of food for the little price to pay. We will definitely order again. Try it

Yelp
Great Pizza and probably one of the best Italian subs I have ever had. I have ordered here numerous times and the quality is always great. I wish I would have found this place when I first moved to Grandview. I guess there is a reason why Panzera's has been in business since the 60's.

Yelp
grabbed a couple of slices here around 2pm one day. it was not fresh, it was barely warm. they didn't heat it up for us?! I don't know. Why not put a little effort into winning over new customers? well, whatever. I will say that despite its lukewarm nature, the pizza has potential. good potential. it could be delicious hot and fresh. so I'll give Panzera's another chance, possibly someday soon.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place but there was too many other good joints to say this was fantasic. I will say this pizza had a nice thin/crispy crust and very cheesy. Again - only in Grandview- the pizza had a smokey flavor going on. Again, I want to love it but not a huge fan.

Yelp
Great no frills neighborhood pizza place. Love the thicker crust pizza. Decent patio.

Yelp
Many pizza shops have tried to make it in Grandview, but Panzeras is a survivor from the 1960's. Many have gone up against them and failed. We seem to maintain about 5 great, stand alone, family shops in our little area. Panzeras has been in the mix all these years and has set a standard us old guys like. We know the family, the old stone floor gas Blodgett Oven, the way they pull the pans out from under dem pies for the last moment. When I moved here in 1965, that's how it was done and it's cool to see the old process now.
