Ideal for foodies and flavour enthusiasts. Interesting and innovative combination of flavours in our mains. Not an extensive range of Vegetarian options but everything that was there was fabulous; vegetarian options clearly were not an after thought like they can be in some places… they were carefully thought-out and presented dishes. I recommend the tortellini with cheese, aubergine and raspberry. Creative dish bursting with flavour. So good you’re almost tempted to lick the plate! Cocktails were lovely, and service was excellent. Not the place to go if you’re starving and want a big filling meal straight away, but perfect to anyone who has a passion for food as an art.

Excellent evening meal in Nerja. Run by British family I think but definitely not a disadvantage. Very well stocked bar but the house wines were excellent. Nice separate bar area too, AC in the modern restaurant area and street-side seating. Great service, especially thanks to our waiter Ben. Food was very well but together and prepared. Very generous portion sizes for the type of place which was nice, and amazing value for money coming from the UK where equivalanent food would easily be >£100. Especially recommend the prawn starter and the lamb main. We also had the pork main which was nice but a bit too salted due to the soy. We would 100% return and fully recommend to anyone visiting Nerja, need to reserve though (phone or email) as they book up. Also take cash if planning to give a tip as they can't add tips to card payments which meant we gave a bit less than we would have liked.

We decided for one night in Nerja to try something more fancy and we found Papalo. Nice Place, very modern and very different from the places around in the city center. We have taken a main plate each and a cheese cake. Main plates ( fish based ) were nice, but they way how they were prepared, especially in the case of the Cod, It covered the taste of the Cod itself making it a little bit difficult to finish; for what concern Cheesecake, It was good. It's a personal taste here, but for sure everything was well prepared and well served!

This was not only the best meal of our holiday but probably the best meal I’ve had in years. The first 2 photos are tapas starters which were perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. The 2 mains as you can see were sublime. If you are looking for cheap and average food this is not the place for you, as this restaurant could easily hold its own in Mayfair London. Will be returning whenever I come back home to Spain. Well done to Danny, Ben & the team. 10/10 Perfection!

This establishment was heaving on Saturday and all tables were reserved, so I chanced my arm and dropped in early on Sunday evening - almost like magic, a table was free. Worth the wait. Superb delivery - steak tartare with a glint of horseradish and nibbles of beetroot, so sublime, and the day's special a duck breast in lime and cane sugar marinade, fried to perfection. Dessert was a white chocolate mousse splattered with mango puree, absolutely divine. Wine bloody excellent. There is a bar at the rear where you can drink and watch the chefs cook. A top notch eatery. Thank you. *** Two years later and not much has changed, even prices seem similar. The steak tartare comes with blanched runner beans, which doesn't quite mix as well as horseradish. I had the cheese tortellini which was gorgeous. Over all, a little gem on Nerja's main drag that isn't as busy as you might expect but delivers 100%. Nice art work for sake on the walls.

One of the best meals we had in Nerja, the food was absolutely incredible. Don't miss this on your trip . Staff were lovely and attentive . We had a table down the side it was nice a quiet. Still a bit of buzz of people around

Delicious fusion food! The prawns in the curry sauce were so good that I ordered another portion straight after! The fried Icecream was an amazing experience! Our host (Ben) was incredible from start to finish, a true gentleman. A delightful night, couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The food was brilliant, the lady owner was very kindly helpful and happy to listen to requests. One of the most memorable restaurants I went to while travelling in Spain. Made my day in Nehar perfect!
