Papalote Museo del Niño

Amazing museum for kids of all ages. Museum is on two floors, one for younger kids one for older kids. All games are interactive with learning in mind. The “cuates” (friends) will help you out and are very friendly. Recommend getting there early to spend the day, bring your lunch to eat it outside in the covered picnic area. Might be less crowded during the workweek.

This is fantastic for children of all ages, even the adults enjoyed it! Everything is interactive and they have lots of different areas. There’s an under 3’s area too. It covers 2 floors. You do not need to be able to read or speak Spanish to enjoy this museum. There are toilets and changing facilities. You have to store your food and drink at the entrance so you can’t enter with it but you can take it and eat it in an outdoor area. You can park in Costco or the supermarket car park and get your ticket validated for up to two hours then a small fee after that. I would say to allow around 3 hours here but there’s no time limit. This place is a MUST to visit if you are in the area with children. We all enjoyed making big bubbles the most in the bubble room.

It was closed when we got there despite it saying open online and on their website. No one there to ask questions to about opening. The guy working the food court was disgustingly rude about not talking to me when I just wanted to know if I should come back later. The janitor guy talking in hand signs also not very helpful. I speak Spanish, I don’t have an issue communicating. It was infuriating because I have a baby with me and everyone was so rude.

I like the way they the Mexican map as a puzzle and the line of books for the kids to read but we need to encourage our kids to start read.

Great place to spend the entire day with kids. Lots of things to do. Lots of games and activities.

Amazing place to bring your kids. My almost 4 year old spent the entire day there.. literally had to beg and drag her out..please lets gooo, come back tomorrow 😉.. she played and learned so much. The staff is amazing 👏! IHOP next door if you get hungry and grocery shopping next door to finish the day! Amazing place to bring your child !! Wish there were more places like this, my favorite place to bring her so far. We will be back weekly , monthly ! Much love, and thank you for creating such an amazing space ✨️

Great place for kids and their friends. Expect to stay a long long time. The kids love it. Lots of learning experiences and a friendly staff.
