Papaya Restaurant (Indian & Thai Food)

The curry from this place was amazing such a good restaurant the staff were so friendly. One of the best curries I've had whilst travelling abroad. We also tried a thai dish and it was also really good.

The best Indian food! The portion of one meal is enough for 2 people and the service was awesome and reasonably priced... a must visit

Went there recommended by someone who lives on the island, and it didn’t disappoint! They have a huge variety of options to choose from, both Thai and Indian dishes. I personally went looking for Indian food and was delish. The staff was super friendly and willing to help and suggest Will come again!

The food was fantastic compared to all the Indian Restaurants we had visited in Thailand. Truly Indian cooking. I would recommend this place without hesitation. We later met the owner and got some history about the restaurant, this is over 40 years old and going strong. They do not mix vegetarian and non-veg which was very good to know. Well done

The Papaya is my all-time favourite restaurant on Koh Phi Phi. I came here first 20 years ago when it was still a hidden gem with the best curries in Thailand, then again 10 years ago - and discovered that they were still going strong, actually better than ever, with the loveliest of chefs, Nod, who thank God survived the tsunami. He makes the best Thai food on the island. The Indian food is also great. 🙏❤️

Probably one of the best food and authentic taste we tried both indian and thai . we stay 3 night in phi phi and come daily for lunch and dinner. Hope to come again

So this is my personal experience having lived in Thailand for almost a month. Of all the places i covered which included Phuket, Sa mui, Krabi and phi phi, This restaurant served the best food during my entire stay. Class service, good ambience, quality of the food is absolute top. Also if you are an Indian looking for Desi food, this is the place to satisfy those dal rice curry cravings with absolutely the same taste you get here in India. Thank you Papaya team, you have a customer for life. 🙏
