Papayas

This place was suggested to us by our close friend for an instant we were escaptic about the place but when we reached the venue it was amazing. Vijay a wonderful person,made us feel at home For his simplicity and concern,he made out of the world cocktails every time coming up with different combinations.Food was tasty and delicious.beautifully designed rooms with a separate bed area for children.and above all the most beautiful part is the direct access to beach area. Last but not the least a big thank you to dear Lesley for being there for us whenever required.

Perfectly location in front of the ocean.|So cozy room, there is no any noise at night, so you can sleep well. |Hot water and conditioner was there. |Service is fantastic! No problem with breakfast , lunch and dinner. |We like this place so much!!!!

We stayed for 2 nights as a walk in booking. The rooms are behind the beachfront restaurant shaded by vegetation so not sea view. Our room was very large, clean and well decorated. Helpfully they provided mosquito spray which was definitely needed here. The bed was large and comfy but had no mosquito net and I was bitten in the night. There’s a useful access track to Patnem’s small ‘main street’ but there was no noise on the nights we stayed. There was a problem with the hot water on both nights we stayed (apparently caused by a cow damaging a pipe!) but this was fixed on the last day. I did feel the price of 3200r was expensive for a cold water room though and the manager did make a small reduction. The only downside was building work being carried out on a neighbouring property in daytime hours. It was very noisy especially in adjoining rooms. This was early December 2024 so it may be worth checking if this is complete when booking . Aside from that, we were happy with the room and location and would probably use again.

Very worst staff. We were looking for sun bed which was free and not occupied and we went and sat there along with children and staff told that it was occupied then we requested for one more and mentioned we will pay for that... But they denied to give that stating all are occupied and people sitting next to us mentioned that was lie and no one is occupied. They are not at all preferring indians and giving more preference to forigeners as they pay more. We also mentioned that we are also your customers if you are doing like this no one will come, surprisingly he mentioned he has many customers if does not affect them. Very sad Very very worst service. I will not recommend this to anyone. Pathetic

I’ve been there for drinks, spending afternoon on the sun bed and also dinner. The food is great and the waiters are very available and kind. I recommend 100%

An expectantly enjoyable stay The place was quite when we stayed as it was in off-season, something we really liked. The staff, and lezly made us feel super welcome, we were able to make ourselves totally at home. We didn't eat much other than breakfast at the place which was pretty good ,there bread was really nice compared to the other places on the beach

Our second stay at papayas and it was just as lovely as we remembered. We were overwhelmed by the warmth that we received at papayas. The cottages are a decent size with a big comfortable double bed and spotless with some nice touches. This place has the best wifi in the area which mattered to us. We cannot speak highly enough of the fantastic service we got from the team.

Worst experience we had. Sevice was not good they are not🛑 allowing to sit in beach view area only to Preferred foreigners. Never recommend this. boycut this restaurant. Staff is very rude
