Outstanding overall experience at Paper Moon Giardino Restaurant Milan. A beautiful restaurant with a lovely outdoor garden where we had the pleasure to dine. Truly a hidden gem in such a busy city. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with zucchini flowers and eggplant Parmesan, followed by an incredible artichoke risotto. The highlight was La nostra Milanese, a perfectly breaded veal cutlet served with rocket salad and tomatoes. Everything was enjoyed with a great bottle of Italian red wine. The service was excellent, attentive, and warm, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. We finished with a delicious dessert that was the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening. Delicious food, but slow service The food here is absolutely delicious - big thanks to the chef’s team! The prices are also very reasonable, which is great. However, we had to wait 30 minutes just for someone to take our order. When they finally asked “Are you ready to order?” I didn’t even know how to react! 😅 Great food and good value, but the service definitely needs improvement. Hopefully this was just an off day.

We visited this restaurant and ordered around three different types of seafood pasta. We also had ravioli stuffed with spinach and cheese, plus some fried calamari with shrimp and sardines. Everything was incredibly delicious—each seafood dish was tastier than the last. For dessert, we tried the chocolate fondant, and it was great, along with a really good espresso. The service from Youssef was absolutely top-notch—super.

Recommended by my concierge and it was totally packed at lunch. Went back there at 3pm and still had to wait for a table. Gamba appetiser was meh; couldn’t taste this signature prawn. The same prawn tasted better in the raviolo because the sauce was packed with the prawn umami. My dessert was the tartare di manzo and I did not regret ordering it. I would skip the battuto di gamberi Rossi even though it was two-starred on the menu (ie highly recommended). I didn’t get any wine and total tab was €83.

The service and atmosphere were nice, but the food — except for the starters — didn’t live up to the prices. The pasta dishes we had were very average, and the bread was all stale and hard. It seems people come here mainly for the atmosphere. I’ve been to Paper Moon restaurants in other countries, and the flavors were much better there. The Milan branch was disappointing. You can find far better and more affordable places in this city — I wouldn’t recommend spending your time here.

Everything was very tasty, and the outdoor atmosphere was amazing. We ordered the ravioli, fish, and fried seafood, all were delicious. The tarte tatin was less to our taste, but the staff were very kind and happily offered to replace it. Great food and lovely service!

In my opinion, this is by far the best Italian restaurant in Milan. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and professional. The staff clearly know how to make international guests feel welcome. For me, the highlight was the filet steak — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant located in downtown Milan Wonderful staff and wonderful food be sure to make reservations even during the week! The pasta was perfectly aldente and the clams were Nice and juicy. The grilled octopus was super tender and the salad and wine were amazing. They have exquisite decorations worthy pictures and instagram posts. Paper Moon is a true gem in the heart of Milan's Monte Napoleone district. I couldn't find any reservations online, so I called the restaurant and spoke with a very kind gentleman who secured a table at the time I requested. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the same gentleman; William, the GM, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. He offered us an excellent table, and from there the evening only got better. The food was superb. My favorites from that night were the burrata, lamb chops and tiramisu. I enjoyed it so much that I returned a few nights later, and once again William and his team provided another great table and an equally outstanding dining experience. This time, I ordered the burrata and lamb chops again, along with a few additional dishes. The fritto misto was also excellent, and the panna cotta was easily the best I've ever had. As an avid diner fortunate enough to visit some of the world's finest restaurants, I can confidently say that Paper Moon has earned a solid place among the best. Bravo to William and the entire team; I can't wait to return on my next visit to Milano!

Try this restaurant! The food is excellent! The service is top notch and the ambience is very quaint. We had clams with a spaghetti, an amazing steak that was big enough for 2 to share and octopus with spinach everything was delicious! The staff was super friendly especially our waiter Fabrizio he was also very enthusiastic all and all a lovely evening!

My friends and I decided to splurge and treat ourselves to the atmosphere and delicious food at Paper Moon.

Chose this spot due to several recommendations from reliable sources. Nestled in the heart of the Quadrilatero di Moda, surrounded by every high-end brand store, the space, both inside and out, was gorgeous. Lived up to the photos on their web site. Staff was very gracious and personable. Food was not the best ever, but was very good and delicious. You should definitely go - it was a highlight for sure.

Time to dress up for this occasion to enjoy this beautiful restaurant and lovely court yard. Great attentive servers and delicious dishes served with elegant drinks.

Swanky Italian restaurant with excellent seafood. We had the pulpo and the fantasia seafood platter for 2 and it was amazing. A place to see and be seen. Servers were polite. We sat in the covered outdoor elegant area in the back and it was pouring rain which created the perfect atmosphere for a night out in Milan.

Stopped by because this place was recommended to me by a few people staying in my hotel. I came without a reservation but it was just me so I was able to be seated immediately. I ordered gnocchi, shrimp and a glass of grappa. Everything was good and the shrimp were huge. My waiter went above and beyond because he provided me with bug spray after I told him I was eaten alive earlier. I enjoyed the ambiance here and the architecture. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing place. We found it on our last night at Milan and were just floored. Steak florentine was heavenly. Pastas were perfection. Desserts were unbelievable. My daughter swore it was the best panna cotta she ever had in her life. And the bill was much much lower than I expected. Everything was Michelin star quality. Will be coming here every time I come back to Milan! Highly recommend the burrata, steak florentine, tagliatelle, panna cotta, tiramisu, dark chocolate mousse.

Paper Moon Giardino is a hidden restaurant in the shopping district of Milan, Italy. My wife and I were shopping in the area and headed over on a Tuesday evening. We were able to grab a table without a reservation and were seated. The restaurant is very upscale, dark, and has excellent service. As soon as we sat down, we were served complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This was great. I also ordered a red wine and a few items: [ANTIPASTA] +Burrata Pugliese (burrata cheese with tomatoes, fresh basil, and extra virgin olive oil) for €19 - 4.5/5 [PRIMI PIATTI] +Raviolo (homemade raviolo stuffed with burrata cheese, raw red shrimps, and cherry tomatoes) for €23 - 4.5/5 +Tagliatelle (homemade tagliatelle with Bolognese ragout sauce) for €18 - 4.5/5 [DOLCI] +Tiramisù (soft ladyfinger with mascarpone cheese and coffee) for €11 - This was the best Tiramisù I have ever had. It was delicious and moist. - 5/5 Overall, Paper Moon Giardino was an amazing experience. From my week in Italy across Milan and Rome, this place had to be the best spot in all categories from location, food, and service. Every food item hit the spot, and I had zero complaints. If you come to Milan, Paper Moon Giardino would be the first place I would recommend for a great meal out.

My first time here from New York. recommended by one my friends. I got here after shopping around. I didn't have a reservation but was seated right away. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. I got salad as an appetizer and pasta with clams and a bottle of red wine. Delicious !!! The ambiance is superb. I highly recommend this restaurant. will be back. Thanks !!!! :)

Very nice , a little fancy, plenty of options. The staff were kind and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Plenty of seating. My favorite was the fish of the day dish.

I have been today for lunch, the place it's amazing and food it's outstanding, I had a polpo as appetizer and a Scottona as main course, both were excellent.

Superb and attractive cousin to the pizza-oriented Paper Moon nearby, with a lovely garden and great seafood. Get the three fish tartare to start, along with the Burrata with Caponata. We split Orata with potatoes and asparagus, but I suspect the other fish entrees are equally good. A real winner not far from the Duomo.

Ordered a salad with berries and sauce and got a bowl of salad leafs with nothing in it... strange as noone even offered to fix it and just brought us some berries probably suggesting that we have to prepare the salad ourselves...weird.
