"Get a Different High in Vegas Due to the heat of Vegas and our limited time, we decided to take the Grand Canyon Celebration 4-hour tour with Papillon Tours. Other tours we looked at consisted of bus and helicopter with a combination of boat rides or rafting—but it would have taken 12 hours of our limited time so when we saw the Grand Canyon Celebration tour with a 45-minute helicopter flight to the canyon (west rim), canyon landing with champagne lunch, followed by 45-minute helicopter flight back to Vegas we jumped at the opportunity. We booked online and got a $100 discount. Mike our pilot was informative and humorous and had us laughing the whole way. He also had a music soundtrack playing over our headphones which was perfect for the flight. The lunch was only 30 minutes which felt rushed but we understand this is by the agreement with the local Indian community, rather than the tour company. We loved it, even though we felt a bit of motion sickness on the way back!"

We chose the tour that included a landing on a very private plateau, a champagne toast, as well as a small picnic basket. On the way back to Las Vegas we flew over down town, as well as the strip before landing. The trip was amazing. The staff was very informative and attentive. My only complaint, and no fault of Papillon, was a group on our flight from Quebec, they smoked, and put their butts out on the floor of the Grand Canyon and left them there. That was a little shocking to me. I scooped them up and put them in the trash. Please don’t litter anywhere, but especially in a protected National Park. I promise you I will never litter in Canada. A shout out to Devon and Rafael, very personable, professional and passionate about the beauty of the Grand Canyon. Thanks so much for a beautiful day.

My husband and I had the most magical experience with our Papillon helicopter tour into the Grand Canyon. We decided on the Grand Celebration Tour and everything was wonderful, from the time we were picked up at our hotel until we returned. Landing in the Grand Canyon was something that is hard to put into words. There are few places you can go that have been untouched by man where you can just enjoy the pure beauty of this world. It was such a spiritual moment to be there in the Canyon and just enjoy the silence along with the astounding surroundings!! It truly was a chilling moment!! It was worth every penny and our pilot, Jimmy, was awesome! He was knowledgeable, funny and so personable. It was like taking a ride with an old friend!! My husband and I were both nervous, at first, but Jimmy quickly calmed our nerves and helped make the experience unforgettable!! We would definitely do this again!! If you ever get the chance, JUST DO IT!! The "high" from this experience lasted for days and it tops the list of things we will never, ever forget!!

I recently experienced the Papillon Celebration Tour to the Grand Canyon, and it was an unforgettable adventure. The journey began with a comfortable flight that provided awe-inspiring, panoramic views of the Grand Canyon’s vast, dramatic landscape. During the flight, our guide, Devon, shared fascinating and useful information that enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the natural wonder below. One of the highlights was a special stop where we enjoyed American champagne and a selection of snacks—an enjoyable way to relax and take in the surroundings before our return flight. On the way back, we made a brief stop for refueling, and the excitement continued with a spectacular flyover of the Las Vegas Strip. Seeing the iconic lights of the Strip from above added an exhilarating touch to an already impressive tour. The entire experience lasted around four hours, making it a well-paced and comprehensive excursion. However, one area for improvement was the hotel pick-up and drop-off service. The tour bus drivers could have been more efficient, as there were some delays and logistical hiccups that impacted the overall experience. Despite the minor issues with transportation, the tour itself was exceptional. The combination of breathtaking views, engaging commentary, and unique touches like the champagne stop made it a truly memorable day.

I have no affiliation with Papillon, but 5 Stars all around. The last three trips to vegas we have booked a Helicopter tour or small plane tour. Our first tour was Grand Canyon, they picked us up promptly drove us out to Boulder Airport and we had a fantastic tour. Next Trip we did a helicopter tour over the Strip at night. Once again extremely professional. Last trip we decided to do Antelope Canyon, and of course, we were booking with Papillon. They took a small Cessna, seats 8 people. If you haven't been in a small plane before, it's bumpy, that's just the nature of small planes. Our pilot was fantastic, bumps here and there, but got us there in no time. The tour Papillon set up for us was equally an amazing experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Las Vegas and next tour. Hopefully you guys don't run out of options to do/see!!

Wow…… what a fantastic experience. A professional team of people who really know what they are doing. We did the Hoover Dam and Vegas strip experience and got to witness the most incredible views. Our pilot was knowledgeable and really added to the whole experience. Thank you. Dave & Sarah.

Google
Breathtaking experience to see Strip by Night in Las Vegas. Everything was perfect with Papillon crew. You can stand next to the pilot if there id availability upon an extra fee. Definitely a must if you visit Las Vegas.

If you're in Vegas, book a helicopter tour with Papillon and prepare for the ride of your life. And if you’re lucky enough to get Jimmy as your pilot, you're in for a real treat. Jimmy is not only a top-tier pilot, but he's also the funniest guy in the sky. His hilarious one-liners and quirky facts about the Strip and Hoover Dam had us laughing the entire flight—making it feel less like a tour and more like hanging out with a buddy who just happens to know everything about Vegas. The views? Absolutely stunning. From the Strip to the vast desert, every angle is a postcard waiting to happen. Jimmy made it all even better with his charm and knowledge, turning what could’ve been just a scenic flight into an unforgettable experience. Honestly, if you’re thinking about doing a helicopter tour, do yourself a favor: book Papillon, and if you’re lucky enough to get Jimmy as your pilot, count yourself among the lucky ones. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, humor, and, well, feeling like a VIP. Couldn’t have asked for a better flight!

Google
Matt, our pilot was amazing! We have been to the canyon multiple times from Las Vegas and this by far was the best. We chose the grand celebration tour that landed in the canyon and supplied champagne with a light mid day snack. This tour allowed enough time to enjoy the views and snap some pictures. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Truly an incredible experience. When stepping onto the Grand Canyon floor, it felt like stepping on the moon. The entire trip was about 4 hours from pickup to drop off. All staff were extremely friendly.

Yelp
Had a great flight with Pilot Alex . Loved the views. Did the Fly & Dine Luxury Night Out Helicopter. A must do. Nice facilities at the airport . Reason for knocking off two star is due to the " confusion " by the return driver . He kept on saying we are supposed to be dropped off back at the restaurant. I tried to explain to him and showed him my receipt ( see photo ) . We did make it to our hotel .

Yelp
Great pilot! Thank you Rafael, very friendly and very informative of the Grand Canton history! It was a great experience for me and for my husband Richard! Landing the helicopter in the middle of Grand Canyon, awesome view of it and with a beautiful picnic very special!

Yelp
Amazing experience and the cute lunch in the middle of the Grand Canyon was so special The helicopter ride over the different terrains were beautiful our pilot had a lot of knowledge of the area and the sound track in the head phones was a nice touch There was even a wedding on the edge of a cliff! So special! Perfect a definite must do if you're in Vegas

Yelp
My 350th review! *WOW!*, what a ride! This review is for the nighttime strip flight. I bought the three day go city pass, which comes with one "premium" activity. I chose this for my activity, and boy am I glad I did... I had a 9:45 show up time for a 10:30 PM flight, my show I was seeing that evening was very close, and so I showed up at the terminal, which is very close to the south end of the strip, early, and they were able to get me on an earlier flight. You check in with your ID, You stand on a scale, (maximum weight is 300 pounds, but they have to load the helicopter to balance it based on the weight of the passengers.) and watch a safety video. When it's your time to fly, your pilot comes out and takes you out to your chopper. Our pilot was polite and professional. Everybody on the chopper has a good view, but, I was lucky, I was able to sit "shotgun" in the front seat. What a view! It's right around a 10 minute flight. You take off, And head north up the eastern side of the strip, with the pilot providing narration. You fly over downtown, And then head south, down the western side of the strip. Even though you are not flying directly over the strip, the views are still fantastic! At the very end of the flight, we even "buzzed" One of the taller hotels! That was fun! The ride is about $120, so it's not cheap, but believe me, is it worth it! At the end of the ride, I was speechless. And as you can tell by the length of of my reviews, that's not easy to do! :) Thank you for an amazing experience, Papillion.... Now, everyone else, do yourself a favor, and, GET TO DA CHOPPA!!!!!

Yelp
Amazing!!! I went on the Golden Eagle Tour with a flight over the strip and Grand Canyon. It was fabulous! They do a great job taking care of their customers and it was so interesting to see the strip from the air and the flight out to the Grand Canyon was fascinating! If you're in Vegas and looking for an exciting adventure, give this a try! Happy Travels!

Yelp
I had flown with Papillon before and truly enjoyed the strip at night flight. When my friend from the UK said she wanted to see the Grand Canyon, I said we have to do Papillon! The strip pick up, while early - because who wants to fly in the heat in the summer - was on time. Getting to Boulder City was a breeze. Check in counter were nice folk, they know my true weight . And, the flight over to the Hoover Damn, Lake Meed, and Grand Canyon will be some of the most amazing views I will cherish - at least the ones where I didn't doze off because it was so relaxing! The 6th star if I could give it, goes to our pilot Kevin! Kevin was friendly from meeting us, laughing with us on route, cracking jokes at me taking the most expensive nap. Truly great service and I can't say nice things about the guy! Will be back for another flight soon!

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! This was on our bucket list & it lived up to the hype! Our pilot Hillary was very good & the views were spectacular! The midway stop & champagne picnic was nice & a great chance to take photos!

Alexandros D.

Yelp
One star because we had a very nice pilot and she gave us very nice views of the west rim. We requested for front seats but they didnt give us so we were watching mainly the back of others heads during the flight. We were on our honeymoon and they completely ruined it. We begged to change to other flights but the stuff was totally rude and they just told us that cost is non refundable. They only want your money. We also had 30 minutes delay on the flight. Other than that it was a nice experience but I don't recommend them for your trip. Try with other better companies.

Yelp
I felt like I was going to die just getting to the helicopter. Shuttle bus driver drove with excessive speed and recklessly. I tried to report him to management but they hung up the phone on me. Horrible customer service

Yelp
Great company! People are extremely friendly. I would like to give special thanks to Elli. We had some incident about our Grand Canyon tour. We were really upset about what happened. However, Elli took care for us. If you are looking for a helicopter ride in Vegas! I would highly suggest with papillon.

Yelp
Booked a night flight over The Strip on June 7, 2024. It was a great flight. Our pilot, Leah, was professional, informative and fun. The banks and dips were great. My party all had a wonderful time. Thank you again for a fun flight!

Yelp
We just went last week and had a wonderful time! We took the tour with the small plane ride from the Boulder City airport to Grand Canyon west. We went to Eagles Ridge with the Skywalk and then Guano Point. Honestly, I was a bit concerned because of some reviews, but I didn't want to take a helicopter and this tour seemed to work best with our timing. We were a group of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids. My folks were with us and my dad has mobility issues. We had no problems with the plane and they had a wheel chair waiting for us to use once we landed. The skywalk was beautiful and we were in awe. We ate lunch at the indoor seated restaurant at Eagles Ridge and then took the bus to Guano Point. If we had realized how amazing Guano Point was going to be, we would have planned to spend more time there. We used the bulk of our time at Eagles Ridge, and had about an hour and a half at Guano and it was just breath taking. My boys especially loved it. All of the team from Papillion, from the booking reservationist to the check in team, flight crew and bus drivers - everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We look forward to using them again!

Yelp
Unfortunately my night flight of the strip wasn't great. I was sat in the back on the right and the whole flight involved everything being on the left. It was pretty pointless tbh. I've been on a helicopter before so the only reason I was there was to see the strip at night. Underwhelming is the word I'd use.

Yelp
Garbage operation. Very unprofessional and highly unsafe operation. Proceed with caution if you decide to use these guys.

Yelp
Poor showing as a whole, they're after every dime they can, maverick helicopters are a better deal

Yelp
Papillon was amazing from the start, the booking process was seamless and we found that the tours through papillon had the most reasonable prices for what we were looking for. Our tour was the early bird to the grand canyon. We chose to bid for the two front seats and would do this 1000x over!!! If you have the means to do this it is so worth it, the views from the front are incredible. Our pick up was the only negative part of our experience.. the shuttle was nowhere near where they said they were going to pick us up, no one was answering the phone when we called the office initially and finally when we got through they were a bit argumentative and rushing us to find the shuttle. Once we finally arrived we were greeted with smiles, a swift check in process, and a short tutorial video. Two pilots brought us to the helicopters and helped us settle in. We were paired with Torin who is so incredible! Torin took extra time to explain every part of the landscapes we were going over to us to and from the Grand Canyon. He kept the ride very informative and very fun and always told us to get our cameras out for prime photo opportunities. Once arriving to our landing spot we were greeted with an adorable picnic with light snacks and champagne. The spot had amazing views to take photos in front of and walk around for about 30 minutes. Torin was kind enough to act as our personal photographer and allowed us to take photos in front of the helicopter as well. On the ride back (approx. 45 minutes) Torin gave us a little lesson about how all the controls of the helicopter worked which was really cool to learn. We saw even more sights on the way back and swung by the Las Vegas strip! This experience was truly amazing, the Grand Canyon experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity and Papillon and their incredible staff made it amazing to see by helicopter!

Yelp
Jimmy was an amazing pilot gave us a lot of completely amazing useless information. We had a good time champagne a beautiful ride and clear day not so hot really had a great time Jimmy thanks for the hospitality. Tell your wife if you can talk to us anytime.

Yelp
As you can imagine, a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon would be one of the best experiences of a Vegas trip. It absolutely was! What put our tour over the top was landing at the bottom of the Grand Canyon for a champagne lunch! I'm a geology nerd among other things. Fascinating to see what was at the bottom of a once inland sea, is now a mile above sea level. At the top of the Grand Canyon. Ticketing crew was awesome! The helicopter was large and comfortable. Our pilot was experienced and entertaining. Unparalleled views of one of the Wonders of the World. The view of the Strip as we returned was a new way to see the icons. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I am notoriously thrifty!!! I am the type of traveler who packs his vacation with places that require little to no money to visit. While others come to Vegas for the shows, casinos, concerts, sports and entertainment, we come for the food, themed architecture and outdoorsy fun! It was our second visit to Las Vegas, and while I planned the first trip with every intention of seeing the Grand Canyon, I discovered Sedona while researching things to do and diverted all my time/energy into visiting their amazing array of hiking trails! Sedona should be on every nature lover & hikers bucket list. It is absolutely magical... but I digress. Yet again while planning this trip, which was in celebration of 25 years of marriage, I again found so many places that pulled against our available time to see the Grand Canyon. Zion, Bryce, Marble and Antelope Canyons were some of my top priorities and figuring out how to SQUEEZE them all in was surgical. After all, each location has multiple hikes to gorgeous views and the Grand Canyon Western Rim has very little other than cliff-side views and crowds of people. BUT I FOUND AN EXCELLENT SOLUTION, albeit fairly expensive. A Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour did wonders for my sightseeing schedule + included a number of side benefits: 1) It saved me about 3.5 hours of driving since it takes about 2.5 hours each way from Vegas. The helicopter flight is only about 45 minutes each way. 2) It saved my mental health by not fighting to find a parking space. Also, several blogs I read spoke of long lines AFTER finding a parking space just to get on the shuttle that takes you to the Skywalk area (you are not allowed to drive) and ANOTHER line at the Skywalk entrance. The NPS Canyon website says: Pack your patience! Expect crowds and traffic! LOL 3) It also saved me from not having to deal with the excessive crowds of people. Even after you reach the Canyon Rim, you will encounter a mob vying for the best spot for a selfie or family photo. The helicopters touched down on the canyon floor on several acres of scenic land and allow you to walk around for approx. 30 minutes. The only people sharing this space with you are other helicopter passengers. Ample space to take personal pics without masses of people in the background, only the canyon itself. 4) ANXIETY BONUS - You don't have to watch your step or brace yourself for death defying photos near a deadly ledge. 5) CAN'T BEAT THE VIEWS!!! The choppers fly in along the rim for a while, so you get a similar view as you would from cliff side, but then drop below the rim and continue down the canyon for excellent birds eye views you won't get from the rim. 6) In my humble opinion, the scenery from the landing area on the floor of the canyon is far more dramatic and magical than the view from the rim. I felt like I landed in Jurassic Park. It was simply unbelievable! Papillon's pilots also served us champagne & snacks. Our pilot was very informative throughout the entire trip, even warning us of upcoming turbulence (which for the most part wasn't that bad). 7) We also had bird's eye views of the Hoover Dam (front & back), most all of Lake Mead, flew by an extinct volcano known as Fortification Hill PLUS a sunset flight back over the glowing Las Vegas Strip!!! NOTES * The helicopter interiors could be in better shape considering the money they charge per passenger * A $30 per passenger fuel fee is paid in addition to your flight cost FINAL THOUGHTS The Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour was by far the most expensive single excursion we've ever done in 25 years of marriage. It was the only thing we gambled on when visiting Vegas and we are so glad we did because we hit the jackpot in family memories!!! It will be a thing of legend in all our future tales to our expanding generations! Thank you Papillon Helicopters for an unforgettable adventure. 2023 / 4

Yelp
The experience in the Canyon is great but a few things need improving: - They are advertising $519 for the grand tour but make you pay a $30 gas surcharge per pers on arrival. - I had a failed initial booking but yet the charges went through twice. - The bus ride back to Las Vegas has got to be one of the most uncomfortable one I have experienced (terrible suspensions and loud metal clanging sounds every time we hit the smallest bump). In short do it for the grand canyon experience but lower your exceptions on everything else.

Yelp
While in Las Vegas over Christmas, I booked a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon with the champagne picnic. It was a wonderful experience. We were picked up at the hotel in a Mercedes bus with luxury seats inside. Upon arrival at the airport, everyone was weighed to determine who got assigned to the various helicopters. The seats were assigned but you could pay extra to sit in the front seat. After seat assignments and a safety briefing, we waited to be called. Once our group was called, we were driven in a little bus out to the helicopter and we boarded. The helicopters had Bose headphones with noise cancellation. The seats were comfortable and there were no bad views. We flew over Lake Meade, the Hoover Dam, and ultimately landed at the base of the Grand Canyon. There, you get a little picnic basket with light snacks and the pilot pours everyone of legal age a glass of champagne. I won't spoil with too many details, but the history of helicopters is fascinating. The helicopters you see flying through the Grand Canyon were specifically designed for this task and many environmental and cultural constraints had to be satisfied for it to be possible. Is it expensive? Yeah. Did I get my money's worth? Absolutely. It was a thrill!

Katrina O.

Yelp
We did the tour from Boulder city airport and landed in the grand canyon. This was by far the best part of the trip. We got to take pictures throughout the trip and down on the canyon floor. The champagne was a nice touch that brought us and the other couple to talk with each other. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the hustle of Vegas life.

Yelp
Avoid at all costs! , lady at counter unprofessional , i fly before with maverick helicopters and want to give this company a try , not happy at all with papillon and after landing they didn,t let me take pictures! , and the people from helicopter next to us were taking pictures!

Yelp
We booked the tour via papillon to visit antelope canyon. The tour is about $649 but worth every single penny. The pilot who flew us to Page is a young professional gentleman. He was very friendly and talked to my young son which made him feel welcome. The tour guide Nate was the best tour guide ever. He shared the Navajo culture with us and even took us to try the authentic Navajo food which you guys must try it (mutton stew with their bread, omg). There is also a Mexican food truck next to it which my husband enjoyed their birria tacos. Nate also went above and beyond to take the best pictures for us (im not going to post them because you gotta see them in person). Ps. I was told by the customer service at papillon before the trip that I won't have a chance to get food at antelope which it turned out it wasn't true. You can grab a breakfast sandwich at the check in counter at Boulder City & your tour guide will take you somewhere for lunch.. so don't be me which I hauled all the food from Vegas to page. Also please be respectful when you visit the Navajo nation. Wear shoes with strong grip which helps you go up and down. Lastly, tip your hardworking tour guide. If not, buy them a soda or lunch.

Yelp
Amazing! What a professional outfit! Everything from pickup to dropoff at our hotel was perfect. The office building is clean, modern and well equiped with bathrooms, vending machines, water, comfy seating, etc. Most importantly, the helicopters are clean and seem well maintained. Very comfortable and they fly well. Helicopters tend to be less affected by turbulance than airplanes. Our pilot said these EC-130s are the easiest helicopters to fly that he's flown. The tour was terrific. No canned audio - the pilot gave us the briefing as we flew. They had a nice music soundtrack going through the flight. great music! The views of Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon and the Las Vegas Strip were amazing. Pro Tip: Pop for the $50 upgrade, if available, to sit in the front seat where you have a nice view forward as well as being able to see the instruments. Another Pro Tip: Tipping the pilot isn't expected, but are appreciated.

Yelp
The flight, the pilot and the folks AT KOVAL Lane were fantastic. I would highly recommend this adventure. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The flight was amazing and without issues. Our pilot was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly and made sure we were enjoying it. However, one exception.... Anyone you talk to at the main number is absolutely the worst in customer service. NO ONE returns your calls and NO ONE is willing to go the extra mile or even give mediocre service. The only person who helped help me AFTER the fact was Joyce at the Koval location. The guy who took our photos somehow NEVER uploaded our photos and they were never shared to the website. THEN they were deleted so we couldn't even buy our photos. I called several times to try and find them. Unfortunately, they were deleted with NO ONE calling me back (after my initial call). I might have been able to see and buy my pictures if someone had cared enough to respond instead of m throwing my request into. Queue. Also, the photo share site is horrible with reply's. So, if you book this, be sure to call over and over and over again if you don't see your photos within the 24 hours. OR, simply take your own. With the exception. If horrible customer service, go get in on one of these rides.

Yelp
Thomas Corbin was an exceptional pilot. He was full of interesting facts during our flight, full of charisma, Polite, efficient - exactly what we wanted for our trip. Thank you Thomas for going above and beyond for us! Kevin should take the opportunity to learn from you! lol.

Amazing views, staff was wonderful, whole experience was great! Easy to book, price was good. Highly recommend.

Yelp
***UPDATE - they blocked me on social media for posting this review.*** If I could give them a ZERO, I would. We booked a helicopter tour to the base of the Grand Canyon for Tuesday March 15, 2022. We booked over two months prior to our trip. The cost of the helicopter tour was higher than our flights from Florida ($499 per person). It was going to be the highlight of our trip on our last day in Las Vegas. Literally, 4 MINUTES before our limo was to arrive they called us to cancel the trip for what they called our aircraft being pulled offline for mechanical reasons, FOUR MINUTES! They realize that no one wants to go up in a helicopter that isn't mechanically sound - so, what could we do. I am furious that Joyce (or Joanne) the manager of the flights and Keith did not communicate sooner. This completely ruined our whole trip to Las Vegas. We do not gamble. We came for this tour.

Yelp
Great way to start the New Year! We have always wanted to fly over Las Vegas and tonight was the best night to do it. For us, it was a a way to sore in the sky to enjoy this city we call home. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly and our weights taken to make sure we are seated in the helicopter in a balanced way. We watched a safety and instruction video and shortly, our names were called to be shuttled to the tarmac to meet our pilot and get on board the helicopter. Our pilot was nice and was very patient and informative. He flew that choper very smoothly! It was a short but sweet ride. I told him that I was ready to go again right after we landed. This is an experience that I will remember for a long time and will do again. I hope all of you who try this out will have an amazing time like we did. Enjoy!

Deirdre B.

Yelp
We booked a flight for 5 of us and caught the bus to head out on a great adventure to see the Grand Canyon by air. We took the one hour drive to the airstrip, checked in, watched the training video and went to our gate to head out. We were all so excited. Then over the loudspeaker it asks our party to return to the check in counter. It turns out, our helicopter was brought in for maintenance and the back up was already in for maintenance. No one wants to get on a defective helicopter but we were just brutally told to get back on the bus because they couldn't accommodate us. I would have expected they make some kind of offer to make the loss of our day less painful. Maybe 20% off if we should come back again, a hat or any small indication that they felt bad. But nothing. Warning to anyone if you have limited time in Vegas, this could ruin your day.
google avatar

Yelp
Great short flight around Vegas and the pilots are quite friendly! This is an amazing way to see the lights of Las Vegas. We opted just for the quick spin around town and not one involving the Grand Canyon. It was so worth it, but next time we will go bigger! The only down side is that their limo pick-up service was stretched out super thin and needed help. They need more drivers because ours was hauling a$$ and we feared for out safety.

Yelp
This was one of the best purchases I made. I've never flown in a helicopter before it only sat six people, two paid an extra 25 each to sit up front next to the pilot, which was a woman rock on!! and four seats behind that. so if you weren't with someone you really didn't have the best view. Those on each end near the doors have the best view to take a video and pictures of the beautiful skyline. We went at night to see the lights, and it was absolutely amazing. I just sat back and enjoyed the view since I wasn't near the window and took it all in in real time. Would totally recommend!

Yelp
Papillion stated they were currently hiring it could get no employees to apply so I applied it was told to ask for Lewis the hiring manager beware here for no one likes to get back to you regarding employment. Don't waste your time here. What a joke thank you Lewis Biden.

Yelp
Taking a helicopter ride in Vegas was such an amazing time. My aunt found this place and then I got a chance to ride here. The pilot made me so comfortable and provided a great experience. This is one of the best experiences of a Vegas trip. I will definitely come back here again. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Awesome awesome AWESOME way to see Las Vegas, The Hoover Dam, and The Grand Canyon!!! Very special thanks to our pilot, Eric Vega from New York, exceptional pilot! Eric knows the area very well and always let us know where we were. Played great music, especially the Star Wars theme as we entered the Grand Canyon! The experience is truly indescribable and the photos do not the view justice! We landed IN the canyon, got to take a bunch of pictures, had some snacks and even got champagne. I highly recommend taking the afternoon tour because the trip back is at sunset and it's gorgeous! First class from the moment you're picked up at your hotel in a stretch Cadillac Escalade to the clean waiting area. Extremely professional and friendly staff, to the clean and well taken helicopter, and then the limo ride back to your hotel!

Yelp
Excellent day trip to the Grand Canyon! Our pilot, Dillon was great (5-stars) and you could tell he really wanted everyone to have a wonderful experience. Nice music, helpful narration and jokes too. Even with strong wind gusts at the end, he handled it all and really made it a smooth ride. The time we had in our the canyon where we could walk around was amazing. Just breathtaking! While we enjoyed the snack and drinks in the canyon, the one thing that could have made it better was if there was less plastic waste. Pickup at our hotel was on time, the staff were all helpful and efficient. There are nice bathrooms, gift shop and small cafe too.

Yelp
What a great day while visiting Vegas. Pick up was on time, and pick up location was a short distance from our hotel. Even though the weather was rainy the personnel at the airport explained that the flight may be delayed while we waited for rain to clear out. We were given the option of canceling with a full refund and transportation back to Vegas. Weather cleared out and we met our pilot, Lea. She was friendly and gave us a safety briefing before we boarded the helicopter. Flying over and through the Grand Canyon was the adventure of a lifetime. Our pilot Lea was very informative and a great tour guide. I suggest using Papillon and definitely ask for Lea, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Please do not make the mistake we made and book tours with this sorry excuse for a company!! We had booked well in advance for the flight and tour of the Grand Canyon. As advised by Papillon, we rang them to confirm our pick up 2 days before we had scheduled to go to the Grand Canyon for our first wedding anniversary. We were unfortunately informed (only when we rang them 2 days before the flight it should be noted) that the airplane would be in for maintenance that day and our trip was cancelled. They initially said they had no other availability whilst we were in Vegas and therefore we requested a refund to try and book another tour instead. We were shocked to be informed that refunds take up to 2 weeks. This means they had $800 of our money and due to them not informing us, we couldn't even book with a different company. This was just the beginning... Begrudgingly, we continued with the refund. The extremely rude employee didn't just ask for our debit card number to process the refund though but also the expiry date and the SECURITY CODE. When I questioned why on earth they would need those personal, security details to give us our own money back she shouted down the phone "OH. MY. GOD. THIS GUY THINKS I'M TRYING TO STEAL HIS MONEY!" Which was actually a genuine concern of mine given the details she had asked for. She then immediately put me on hold and then through to other member of their team. Amazingly (or so we thought), this new employee magically found us a place on a flight the day after the original one. Just 12 hours before we were supposed to leave, we got an email saying again that this second flight had also been cancelled... Again the short notice meant we were totally unable to book through a different provider and they still had a huge amount of our money. We believe this flight never actually existed and it was a ploy to pacify us. We rang to get our refund sorted and whilst apparently being connected to a senior member of their team, they put us on hold with a looping automated message - forcing us to hang up. We rang back (again, which being from England was costing us a lot in overseas phone calls) and the employee guaranteed us that a manager was working on our case and would ring us back within 1 hour (this would have been 11:30am). They also requested that we sent an email explaining the problems we had encountered. We did not hear back from them (shock)... I had to send a follow up email the day after asking what was happening. Eventually, over 24hrs after they said they would get back to us, they offered us a chance of a free Vegas Night Flight. Brilliant you think? Not at all. They knew we left Vegas the day their insincere offer came through and therefore we would never be able to take this flight - hence why they didn't reply with this offer when they had guaranteed us they would. Total joke and a total disgrace. To top it all off, our refund actually has us $40 down due to currency fluctuations. So we paid $40 + more in phone calls to get cancelled on twice and ruin our honeymoon and anniversary. Not to mention the time we wasted dealing with their issues and rude employees. We are devastated. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Shocking service, disgusting organisation and disgraceful customer care. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Yelp
The staff was helpful from beginning to end! Me and my friends had a spontaneous idea to do a helicopter tour while we were in Vegas. We signed up online and paid the $349 fee. Please make sure you confirm the request 24 hours before your scheduled date. The team at Papillon made everything so easy. They picked us up from our hotel. We were briefed on what to expect and safety precautions. Once in the helicopter the fun began. The views were amazing! We enjoyed seeing Lake Mead, the Colorado River, Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam from the helicopter. I recommend Papillon to anyone wanting to do something different than gambling/take in shows while in Vegas!

Yelp
HORRIBLE CORRUPT AGENCY!! Had to cancel my trip because my daughter was HOSPITALIZED. They haven't refunded my money and hang up on me when I call. They haven't responded to 8 of my emails. Take your money somewhere else - this company is disorganized and completely corrupt.

Yelp
I would like to say that the beauty of nature is an automatic 10 stars. The COVID posture is trash. I arrived safely and the flight was decent. That bumps from one to two stars. And that alone. The pick up was decent. But when the driver mentioned that masks were required, but didn't enforce it when other guests were picked up, it made for an uncomfortable ride. So much so that I had to ask for the window to be opened for ventilation. We made it to the airport. I guess flight plans made and groups were called. We got on our helicopter and asked if masks we're going f to be required. Pilot says yea and instructs everyone to put their masks on. . . But as I read in a sign recently, " a mask under the nose is like a condom with a hole in it".... So simply saying it wasn't an enforcement. Fast forward- beautiful beautiful beautiful!!!! I swear- if you don't fly in, driving up won't do it justice. Back to papilon.... The ride back to hotel was the WORST EVER. the driver seemed to think he was in his personal vehicle. Road rage on TEN. speeding to prevent others from getting over, speeding to pretend hitting pedestrians, honking long and excessively, breaking and accelerating dramatically, switching lanes crazily..... and HE wasn't wearing a mask. The money was paid for an experience. Not for an unplanned or unintended risk. I fully expected masks, professionalism, service, Advocacy, and the beautiful experience. The governor has a mandate. The nation is in a pandemic. Even though the words are spoken, staff here aren't holding patrons accountable. So, as a paying patron, I got the beautiful experience and a lot of extra risks. If I had a redo, I would not. With them. But I'm also not sure what other companies are doing. This was unnerving and and unfortunate because it took away from enjoying the amazing scenery and history that brought it to this point. I'm so glad I saw the beauty that is the Canyon.

Yelp
Went on the night ride of the Strip. I'm afraid of heights, I cry when I take an airplane ride...it was still the coolest thing I've ever done. Our pilot Chris was great and really friendly as well, but even if he wasn't I wouldn't have cared because I was riding over Las Vegas in a helicopter and unlike a lot of people who enjoy nit picking staff in reviews I know the pilot's job is to fly me safely and not entertain me like I'm the Queen of England. 100/10 recommend.
