Papillon Japan Street - Mouffetard

We had a wonderful dinner at this Japanese cozy restaurant. We ordered the Veg Curry and the Pinky, a grilled salmon dish and enjoyed a Tokyo Spritz and Japan Tonic cocktail. The portions were just right. I’d go back and try everything on the menu. Be sure to ask for the daily special menu. Seating inside and 4 tables outside. Lovely location to walk around to shop and nosh. The Servers were happy to speak English. Cocktails were around 7€ and entrees around 17€

We had the most enjoyable evening at Papillon! The food was delightful and the service was amazing - Emma & Estelle went above and beyond to ensure our experience here was one to remember. Merci beaucoup Papillion équipe, nous serons retourner l’annee prochaine !

The service was good, we had the lunch menu, the portions were just right, and the price was reasonable. The food was good for what it was and the flavours pleasant, suitable for a quick lunch break from work. Its not a gastronomic experience, but you wouldn't be disappointed at the end of the meal. Would definitely come back again if I was in the area for a quick bite. I had the Colombo curry and the noodle salad.

Absolutely delicious! Had the Karaage (amazing and crispy), the curry rice (the meat was soft, and the ginger made for a great mix, next time maybe a little spicier), a sake flight and an incredible matcha tiramisu. I'll be coming again 😍

Great place it may be small but the pleasure is big the rice bowl looked amazing and i even became more hungry when i got the smell, my dish was with salmon and it may be the most savory thing ive eaten. Amazing

Small restaurant with relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and extremely friendly staff. I loved the homemade kimchi they served with very good ramen

Cute little restaurant to get lunch that won't break the bank. Lunch menus are consistently under €15. The food is tasty. I recommend the Karage chicken.

Great food, Estelle and raku are very hospitable in the service, a nice place to have a quick bite. The kitchen staff makes the food quickly, and with lots of flavour!
