Great little boutique on the Riviera. It’s been there for years and has kept up with the fashions of the times. A lot of of selection packed into the small corner store. Very friendly sales team ready with suggestions combinations and demos… they can really put together an outfit for you for any occasion. They also have a custom shop by appointment only on the second floor. I love cashmere and they have toppers in every color at a good price. Unique selection of belts. And of course, the quintessential summer beach dress.

I love this store. The vibes are really great. They have beautiful clothing and the staff is very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I cant wait to shop here again. Thank you. -Mina

Horrible customer service. If you walk in Here and not buy something they look at you in a weird way. This is the owner. I have spent thousands of dollars and she is just rude. She lies and tells you Eveything looks good on you. This place is just horrible customer service. Bad bad. Shame on you for being rude.

SO cute. And everyone who works there is so so sweet. Just stopped by today to look into a pair of boots in the window, Shelby who was working was so incredibly helpful. She helped me find the right boots as well as some pieces that would go with them. They are all very skilled stylists - I can’t wait to go back!

I have been going to Papillon for years. I absolutely adore Krushenka. If you have an event, vacation, need every day clothes with class and flare, work apparel, or just want to treat yourself to beautiful clothes, make a styling appointment with Krushenka. It is an experience. I have seen her work with all shapes and sizes. I have witnessed women cry when they see themselves in her clothes. A friend of mine commented, “I have never felt this good, this beautiful in clothes before!” I attend formal events 2-4 times a year and Papillon is the place I go. I always find the perfect dress, feel good in the outfit, and receive a lot of complements. So many times I have been asked, “where did you get that dress.” I also love that her clothes are unique and different from what you see everyone wearing. Her clothes are timeless, trendy, and classy!

I am a psychotherapist in private practice who is very particular about my attire. I have to dress professionally, I’m older and not a size 2, so Joseph ribkoff works very well for my body type. Sometimes it is difficult to find articles in the style and color that I want. I searched all over the Internet to find a particular top but I wasn’t able to find it until I found the Papillon website. The customer service that I received from Diego has been amazing. He really listened to what I wanted and followed up to make sure that I was satisfied. My order came early and was packaged with the utmost care. I know that I will be a loyal customer even though I live in Michigan. Thank you Diego and Papillon!!!!

I have walked and drove past Papillon for over a decade. I have always admired the clothes outside but had never actually gone inside. My husband arranged for me to have a styling session with Krushenka, and I had the best experience ever! She truly knows how to make the pieces work, reflect you, but bring her own creative edge. I loved the upstairs environment - Classy, timeless, beautiful but not snooty! Absolute comfort and genius is what I experienced today with Krushenka. So grateful 🥰

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I've had with a small business. I purchased a set that began pilling after just three washes--a clear sign of poor quality. When I reached out, not only did they refuse to acknowledge the issue, but they also accused me of not purchasing the item from them, even though their own system showed the receipt. To make matters worse, the owner was dismissive from the moment the conversation started. Before I could even explain the issue, she interrupted with, "Sorry, can't do anything"--without hearing me out. Then she suggested I use a razor to fix the pilling. Really? How about selling products that don't require "razors" to maintain after a few washes? I wasn't even demanding a full refund--a partial refund or store credit would have been reasonable. Instead, they offered nothing. That's not how a small business should operate. Customer satisfaction should be a priority, but clearly, it isn't for them. In contrast, I've experienced amazing customer service from other small businesses--like one that let me return a set of organic sheets after 90 days simply because I didn't like them. That's what customer care looks like. This business, however, operates with deceit, blame-shifting, and zero accountability. If you're looking to support a small business that actually values its customers, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. .

I bought some very nice but very overpriced tops there. But, every time I walk in they try to sell me something I don't want. I don't like bedazzled shirts! but they will try to convince you that you do. They are extremely pushy and start from the minute you walk in. They try to tell you what you should buy and wear. The last time I went in was for a very formal event and I wanted to go upstairs to see their selections. Price did not matter for this function. But first, they wanted every detail about the people having it and every detail of the event. Wow, That is not only very invasive and nosey but also very offensive, i did not have a budget for that dress and they lost a lot of $$ being so pushy, I will never go back.

I can't believe they only do store credit for full price returns, and tags still on the garment. That I bought four days ago. I bought two Cashmere Draped dress topper, I want to return it because I found them for much cheaper. Trust me you can find them cheaper on ALASHAN website $129 plus 20% off if first time shopping with them, it comes out to approximately $104.20 each Versus $145 or $15 cheaper on Amazon. I feel so ripped off because I paid $318.28 versus $228.80 saving of $89.48 WOW!

As a longtime resident of Redondo Beach who works in Century City, I occasionally shop here when I'm looking for something different from the high-end brands in West LA. Papillon definitely stands out for its colorful, eclectic selection--but the prices are absolutely outrageous, especially for this area. For example, I saw a pair of pants priced over $300, a blouse for more than $600, and a dress tagged at over $1,000. Unsurprisingly, not many people seem to be walking out with shopping bags. And frankly, the prices are the reason why. We all want to support small businesses, but not at luxury-level markups that feel out of step with the local market. This store might need a reminder: low-income housing has just been completed nearby at PV Drive and PCH. How many potential customers from that development will shop here? Probably not many. And for the rest of us, not many.

Was here a few weeks ago with some friends. The shop is super small and very outdated. The customer service is zero to none. We were looking around for a little bit, not one person asked if we needed help or anything. Like I mentioned, very outdated clothing and looks. We would rather shop at Nordstrom, Saks, Bloomingdales for updated clothing, better selections and a lot better customer service. We will never be back.

Diego and his family run an amazing business in this great location in Redondo Beach. You will find unique outfits of great quality and designers for everybody style and shape. You even get your own stylist when you get there I go there for special occasions for business and for my Summer casual outfits as well they have a great sale going on and I just picked up the cutest outfits the other day got lots of compliments so far thank you guys!

Amazing place. Gorgeous, quality clothes at a decent price. But....go here for the service. Krushenka and Sol were beyond helpful. They put together so many beautiful outfits, styled me beautifully and made me feel like a princess. They even carried my purchases out to the car.

I've been visiting Papillon for years. It's a really cute boutique located in the Redondo Riveria. They have a selection of unique quality pieces. They usually have a nice sale selection right outside the store as well. Service has always been good. I found a really nice Bandolier phone case for 1/2 off! A wonderful little boutique in the heart of the wonderful RB Rivera. I found so many unique and pretty tops and purchased the best wide leg black pants - they are now my go-to pants. The sales ladies are helpful and know their products very well. If you are tired of the mall and boring retail - please come here !!!!

Sassy and classy couture and accessories with a fun Parisian vibe ... For the person that wants a little extra attention and advice - Papillon offers personal style consulting.The team rolls out a rack of clothes and ***wine*** in their private, upstairs fitting room. Oooooo la la! When we walked in I immediately felt relaxed yet motivated to shop. A dangerous combination for my husband! I found a wardrobe for my edgy Hollywood daughter, as well as leather phone lanyards and jewelry to bring home to Colorado for everyone else. So! What did I specifically see and love? Vibrant colors, a few ruffles, some sexy cocktail wear and ball gowns, red sleek date night dresses, and leather pants. And the leather phone lanyards... Also - easy parking with several restaurants next door. Make it a fun shopping spree with a day at Papillon in beautiful southern Cali!

The shutdown and re-opening has really made me appreciate local gems like Papillon. The lovely owner(s) pack a well-edited collection into a small space; I'm always delighted to leave with a little unexpected treat for myself. OH! And they are super-helpful (politely, subtly) styling those of us who need a little extra assistance!

This store is utterly amazing. Me, my mother in law and my sister had been out shopping all day to try and find me a dress for my upcoming beach wedding and had come up completely short. Until we walked into Papillon. We were greeted by Krushenka who proceeded to spend the next 2 hours with us! She took us to their beautiful upstairs beauty room where she personally styled me in different dresses with jewelry and hair accessories. She took into account my hair color and the causal beach environment of the wedding. The dress we purchased there was perfect! She took such care with us and you can easily tell she loves fashion and styling. The fabric, fit and feel of all the items I tried on were spectacular! I will definitely be returning here for all my styling needs, from business to casual to formal!

I love shopping here! The store has such beautiful and very different styles for everyone. The salespeople are amazing at assisting you find what you want. Every time I shop there I am so happy with my purchases. I just found my Mother of the Groom dress there.

Hot or not? Check out the pic of the sweater I just bought off the sale rack for 20 bucks. The striped one in brown, green and mustard yellow. I spotted it from my car, hanging on an outside sidewalk rack, and thought it would be a great ugly sweater donation. It even has a hood, that doesn't show in the photo. So I parked the car and tried it on, expecting that those wide horizontal stripes in those colors would make me look like a cross between a moo cow and a bumblebee. But to my amazement it fit great, looked pretty good on me! OK I may have lost a couple of pounds, that did help. So tell me.....ugly sweater....or not? BTW, Papillon is a tiny store with a good inventory, including boots and shoes, even coats. They have really nice cocktail dresses and gowns. Beaded long gowns are in the $100-200+ range. It's nice to have this shop in my own little village just in case I need something in a hurry and have no time to drive to TJ Maxx. And their sale rack is worth checking out. Good bargains.

Beautiful pieces. Bought a dress there and I saw it sell in Nordstrom evening wear a a season/year later for triple the prices. The owner has a great eye and takes pride in styling her customers. High recommend.

This is a small store located on a corner in So Redondo's Riviera Village. There is plenty of street metered parking as well as a huge lot right up the block with metered parking. The shop has a lot of interesting dresses, from beachy to beaded and fancy. The prices are reasonable and you can get really great deals on their sale racks, which are always worth a look! They also carry jeans and really funky shoes that look very euro and uncomfortable to me, pointed toes and very high heels.

Found this little boutique while riding my bike yesterday. What a great boutique with fabulous clothes! The sales lady helped me find the perfect dress for a flamenco show that I'm attending. Excellent customer service, wide selection of clothes, and good prices especially the sale rack. What I appreciated the most was the stylist's recommendations for my body type. She found a very flattering dress for me that I absolutely fell in love with. The only reason I didn't buy more was because I was on my bike. I will be going back for more and next time will take my car!

Horrible customer service! Stay away from this place! From the first look of the outside clothes looks pretty. I stopped by to check out this place. When I entered the store I wasn't feel welcomed. One woman was speaking on the phone. Another woman across her were listening what is she talking about. When the woman who speaks on the phone make a gesture to another one, she turned around, look at me a said with disdain, raising her voice "I'm listening!" It feels like a hustle for her. I was so shocked and didn't know what to say... just said that it's my first time in the store and I'm looking for a dress. To be honest after she raise her voice I just wanted to leave. But I decided to give it a chance. Another woman told me that "we don't have your size but it's not because you large, but because you tall" Lol! Really? My size is M at Macy's, Nordstrom etc. Terrible customer service. Awful experience. Never coming back. P.S. Dresses are very overpriced. Starting from $500 for the dress. Trying to look themselves as a Rodeo Drive boutique with a dresses from Turkey.

Amazing boutique. Owner is awesome and will pick clothes for you that will fit you and that you would never think of. Her mama also works there and is lovely. I have been shopping there for a long time!

Krushenka is AMAZING!!! If you are willing to accept her help she will hook you up! She knows what looks good on different body types. I have gone to her store for many occasions especially if I want to wear something classy and different than the rest of the crowd, I hate shopping for clothes and I never know what looks good on me. I would rather pay a little extra and have pieces that last and are timeless! She also has shoes and accessories so you do not have to show around for the rest of the outfit. Its a ONE-STOP-SHOP and I'm so lucky I live just around the corner! LOVE THIS STORE!!!

Ladies please boycott this store and re-post. The staff that work at this store are unprofessional, rude and insensitive to women. We were there yesterday and when my friend went to try on a dress she intercepted at the dressing room entrance and told rudely "that dress won't stretch, it won't fit you". We left, shocked and amazed, going into another store across the street where she bought a beautiful sundress in a size medium. We were still so upset that when we went back to point out that you don't handle potential customers this way. Instead of apologizing the woman proceeded to say that "we don't not need your business." They forget that local women are who keep these companies in business. PLEASE BOYCOTT!!

I just bought a gold/ black striped kimono shirt for $25 and hoop earrings for $10. Few months ago I bought a cute summer dress for $45. The price is moderate and the owner lady and her mother are very friendly. It isn't the most spacious place but it does its job. If I don't feel like going to a gigantic mall to buy an outfit for a night out in town, I can count on Papillon to show me a decent selection.

I went into Papillon just yesterday trying to find an outfit for a Christmas Party this weekend. Krushenka and Janelle (sorry if I butchered your names!!) were SO helpful and picked out great things for me to try on. It was great because I tried things on that I normally would pass by on the rack. The prices are reasonable and it has a very friendly vibe. I will definitely be back :)

Possibly the nicest boutique in the entire South Bay with clothes to die for. Not only that - the owner and her mother are charming, polite and helpful and know exactly how to dress each individual customer. I had no idea what to buy - just told them I had a fancy Yacht Club lunch to attend. They brought me dresses - which I NEVER wear - gorgeous tops - a mini skirt ---- I bought the lot! $935 spent and well worth every penny. I will definitely go back - hopefully when they have sales. It is so wonderful when a sales person takes the time to pick out flattering clothes for the customer. I bought items I would never have picked out on my own, and they look amazing.

Drop-dead gorgeous clothes, well worth the price - you get what you pay for after all. Ridiculously helpful and friendly owners with a great eye for fit and style. I'm a HUGE fan, havent been able to find any other store like it. Just writing this review makes me have a Pappion-hankering! I think I'll have to leave work early and get on in there - hereeee I comeeee!!!!!

This place is AWESOME! Joseph Ripkoff dresses for $165-175! Beautiful dresses and some of the beautiful sun dresses were only $15. Super great service and awesome prices...wish they had this place in the OC!

Every time I walk into Papillon, I find 1 or 2 or 10 beautiful pieces that I absolutely must walk out of the store with. Krushenka, the owner and stylist, does an amazing job buying for the store, for it is very different from anything you see anywhere else. She has everything from sexy to elegant to sophisticated. Beautiful shoes and boots and the most unique accessories. Once you discover Papillon, you will become addicted!

Kreshenka is amazing. She provided superior customer service...always friendly and willing to find your size if she does not have it in stock. If she tells you to try something on...just do it! Kreshenka "just knows" what will work best to flatter your body type, even though it may be a style you would not have considered on your own. Her Mom is a sweetheart as well....together, they make shopping a very pleasurable experience!

I had a short amount of time for a last minute interview and Cryshenka (sp) was absolutely amazing! She worked with my time limit and body type. I simply told her what I was doing and BAM I had amazing outfits and bought 2!!!!! The first one got me a 2nd interview, and I plan to wear the 2nd to help me secure a new position! Thank you and I will be shopping there soon and so should all of you!!

I was so impressed with this store at first. The service is excellent and she spent a lot of time with me to find the right dress for the occasion. I thought I had found my go to boutique. Bought a beautiful dress and spent more than I had planned but was so happy with the fit, style, etc. Then I got on Nordstrom's website to look for something else I needed and there was my dress for $100.00 cheaper. And that wasn't even a sale price!! I feel ripped off and will never shop at this store again.

Papillon is a cool unique little boutique store located in the Riviera Village just a block from the beach. You can see a beautiful sunset from the front steps of the store as you feel the ocean breeze. There are a few bars nearby to have a drink and there is plenty of metered parking on the street. The store is owned by a mother and daughter who are very nice and quite helpful. Everytime, I go there the daughter (Krushenka) always takes time to help me. What I really like about Papillon is that the store carries the Canadian designer Joseph Ribkoff. Ribkoff makes beautiful dresses that are good for both casual and cocktail wear. They also come in a variety of sizes and are very comfortable to wear. In addition to this, the store has jeans, funky t shirts and designer earrings. The earrings are very unique and specially designed. I really enjoy browsing through Papillon while listening to sexy Latin and French music. The store also has a sidewalk sales rack that is worth checking out.

This shop and Krushenka in particular was one of my best finds ever! Lured by the sales rack outside and the gorgeous clothing in the windows, I walked into Papillon in my normal frumpy clothes. When the sales lady asked if she could help me find something, I started backing out the door, saying that, after 14 years as a stay-at-home mom, I wouldn't know where to start to update my wardrobe. Krushenka offered to show me some things that would flatter my figure, and I figured I should give it a try. Well, several hours later I walked out with the backbone of a new wardrobe, and a list of pieces to buy in the future to fill it out. I haven't worn a dress for a decade because of my body shape, but I learned that I can wear the right dresses. I bought two, plus jeans, fabulous boots, tops, jackets, scarf, heals! My husband was surprised (to put it nicely), but when he saw me model the clothing, he thought it was a good purchase after all. I have found my style coach, and I am ever so grateful! And, Krushenka is so, so personable and knowledgeable and honest and professional and accomodating! She makes you feel right at home, and she gives all the right style tips (exactly what I needed after I ignored fashion for over a decade).

i went to this store by accident just coming out of a restaurant and i was amazed at the variety and assistance of the staff willing to help me pick out a gift for my friend. i swear if i was a girl i would shop here all the time...lol...great spot to check out and prices are cheap*****

Papillon Is One Of The Few Stores That Carries The Ema Savahl & Stop staring Line of Which Have Been Worn By Many Celebs. My Friend Turned Me on To This Store And I Just Can't Stop Shopping There! It's A Perfect treat On Any Sunny Day!!! I would recommend This store To All Whom Want The Best In Womens Clothing And Are looking For Those Unique Items.
