I was surprised by the 4.9-star rating.
• When we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t too busy—they were serving order #12, and we were #20.
• With most orders averaging three plates, we expected a reasonable wait, but it ended up taking an hour instead of the 30 minutes we were told.
• Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it was a bit under-seasoned and lacking flavor, which made the wait feel even longer.
First time for me a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t quite get guacamole right—instead of fresh and vibrant, it tasted like a paste of thawed avocado.
It feels like they’re taking on more than they can handle, and with a little more attention to seasoning and efficiency, the experience could be much better.
