Papparoti Café & Bakery

Google
I stopped by this PappaRoti location and had such a nice experience. The place is bright, clean, and has a relaxed vibe with lots of natural light coming in from the big windows. I ordered a saffron latte and their signature bun, and both were great — the bun came out warm, soft, and lightly sweet. Great taste on the roti overall, and you should definitely try that bun-looking roti shown in the photo — it’s so fluffy and delicious. I also had a small macaron on the side which was a cute touch. The owner was friendly and recommended some great choices. I ended up trying the saffron latte and I definitely recommend it — really smooth and comforting. The seating is comfortable, and I liked the decor, especially the wall art and the plants by the window. It’s a good spot if you want to relax, chat, or just take a break. Overall, a really pleasant café to unwind in. I’d definitely come back again.

My first time here and so far, I’m very impressed. Good options for food and drink, I had the Chai Karak and a latte and both were delicious and well made. Prices are fair, service is very personal and kind and the atmosphere is really nice with lots of seating and light from the south facing windows. The coffee bun (their signature) was fluffy and slightly sweet it was really nice and I will be back!

First time trying this place. It won’t be the best coffee you ever had but good enough as a drink in general. To me, the highlight is the coffee bun they have (the huge ball) , is very yummy, very light and the outside crust has a nice crunch to it. We ended up eating 3 in keep on buying one after another … 😆😆 ..

I had a stop at this cozy cafe and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. The big windows and the sunlight streaming in made the whole space feel warm and peaceful. The host, Sina, was super kind and welcoming. I enjoyed every minute and every bite here and will definitely come back with friends to try their famous kaya dessert.. paired with the karak tea!

Tried OG Bun, Spanish and Pistachio latte. OG bun is similar to a Hong Kong Pineapple Bun, but not as heavy, we loved it! The lattes were great as well and owner is super friendly.

I really enjoyed my visit. The bun was fresh and delicious, and the Turkish coffee was bold, aromatic, and well prepared. You can tell care goes into what they serve. I’d definitely come back to try more items.

Very cozy little place, with an amazing smell! The buns, cakes and the patties are highly recommended! Love the coffee and they also have other kind of drinks.

Great little boutique café right by the mall. Ordered the pistachio latte and the Dubai chocolate cake. Fantastic latte with great balance of beans and milk. The cake was super fun and great. It's takes time to make but it's worth the wait. The place is small but ok with small patio sitting. The host was OK but attentive. Will surely come again.

Yelp
4/5 but bumped to 5 for the service! I've been to the Vancouver location many times for their Karak tea. I enjoy their OG bun for the buttery taste and a hint of, coffee/caramel, but their Karak tea has been my favorite. And since I was grabbing some other things and happened to drop by, I decided to get them again after talking to Sina. I loved his energy and service, which also played a factor when debating whether I should consume more caffeine in the evening. lol The OG bun was great as always and the only reason it was initially a 4 star was because of the Karak tea. It was much less intense and felt a bit diluted in my opinion. I reckon it was just today's batch so I'll definitely come back as Sina was great and I think it was just a one off! Arigato-gozaimasu!

Yelp
Tried their vegetarian patty and chocolate croissant - wasn't too flavourful. However, I heard from another customer that they have the "best coffee in the mall".

Yelp
PappaRoti is such a cute cafe located right outside Centerpoint mall. Truly a unique treat that has its roots from Malaysia and expanded internationally. I chatted with Sina, the owner and he loved the concept when he was in the Middle East and decided to bring this famous coffee bun to Toronto. Apparently it's all the rave in South east Asia and Dubai? It's new to me but I'm sure some people may be familiar with from their home country or their visits internationally. It's just the right amount of sweetness (not too sweet) with a crispy exterior to the soft bun inside. This is the only store front in Toronto so definitely give it a try and Sina is super friendly and easy to talk to. Not only do they have their coffee buns in a variety flavours (I've tried the pistachio pictured here), they also serve coffee, juices and they are also testing out their new breakfast menu when I was chatting with him as well.

Yelp
So excited to see this chain open up in my neighbourhood! I've loved Papparoti since frequenting it in Korea (sadly, they closed down) and some Southeast Asian countries. Something hits so right with kopi roti (rotiboy -- coffee buns), with its crisp outside and soft inside. The interior has high ceilings and a nice spacious relaxed vibe. Lots of wood and beige colours. Service is quick and friendly, and the owner is very enthusiastic about sharing his story and passion for food. My favourite was the pistachio cream paired with the bun. Such a decadent smooth combination. Will be back to try yakun kaya!

Yelp
Found this cute nice cafe at Centrepoint mall! They have famous mocha buns and other pastries. I was pleasantly surprised by that they have healthy options like smoothies and chia pudding. The owner was absolutely kind and friendly with such passion about their food items. So I had very good time their with my best friend :) I'm more than willing to revisit here with other friends too.

Yelp
The first time I tried Papparoti was in Malaysia (the birth place of Papparoti). I found a store in Montreal but it sadly closed down but now we have a store in Toronto so this really made my day! The bun that I have not had in over 5 year is now available in North York and I cannot tell you how happy I am to see this store! We bought 4 OG buns and had one heated up to eat here. We also tried the Crazy for Kaya as well and it was not too sweet! The Crazy for Kaya is part of their signature creations. There are 12 creations to choose from! They also serve coffee, tea, and smoothies. They use Brazilian beans and the beans are roasted on a weekly basis. The OG buns are my absolute favourite - crunchy, sweet, with a buttery center. I highly recommend heating up the buns before you try them. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming! They are located right beside the Jolliebee and there is ample parking. You can also sign up for their loyalty card and they will be set up on Uber Eats by early next week. They have happy hour (10% off) from 6-10pm.

Yelp
Amazing place We tried Kaya bum so good. My Malaysian husband was amazed and loved it too. I loved that the owner was so friendly. He recommended me ginger cardamom milk tea! Love it This is our new favorite place definitely coming back
