Loved Paradise Bay! These cottages are charming, clean and the air conditioner worked great! This property is on a beautiful beach with umbrellas and beach chairs. There is a beach bar and Coco Plum Bistro Restaurant is on the property and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is small so please make reservations if you would like to have dinner there. It was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

We loved the stay at Paradise Bay, from arrival to check out everyone was very nice and helpful. We ate at Coco Plum restaurant several times and it was good. Our cottage on the beach was clean and only steps from the beach and a palapa. The beach bar was nearby to ensure you had a cold adult beverage whenever you needed one. The white sand beach and the water was amazing. |The staff recommended and arranged an excursion with Robert’s Island Adventures to snorkel, swim with the pigs, sand bar, sharks, turtles, and iguanas that did not disappoint. |It was a nice location to head out from to tour the island and see amazing beaches, but the beach at the resort was one of the best. The resort grounds were clean and well maintained. We will definitely visit again.

One of the best value resorts in Exuma. All around 4.5 stars. PROS: location - right in between the airport and Rolleville. Lots of gorgeous beaches near by. Close to the “better” restaurants around Grand Isle. In quotes because Exuma is not exactly foodie paradise lol. ICE COLD Air Conditioning!!! This is probably the best thing. Quiet after about 9pm each night. I got a pretty dang good sleep all 3 nights! Overall vibe of the property - a combo of Tommy Bahama, Margaritaville, and Florida 30A Seaside beaches combined in one. Quaint property with still a moderate to higher end beachy feel. For the most part very friendly workers as well as good communication from Cedric via WhatsApp leading up to and during the stay. CONS: One of the office ladies wasn’t as friendly and gave off that lazy, unwelcoming, curt communication style all too common in Exuma. Basically making you feel like you’re a burden to them. The food at Cocoplum is inconsistent. Lobster was beyond overcooked. I couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife. Dozens of dead flies in the window sill. Gross. They should do a few sweeps a day when no guests are in there to remove them from the sills and try to kill off any stragglers. Flies are a big issue dining outside anywhere on the island but for inside they should have better processes minimize them. Excruciatingly slow service. I understand island time, but I was one of only two tables there and it took well over 30 minutes to get food after ordering. I’m not sure what they were doing back there in the kitchen. Curtains don’t block out any light. I’d suggest getting black outs which will help keep heat out during the day and let people sleep in. Was very bright each morning by 7am. They seem to have more sand fleas than other beaches and my ankles were bitten and itchy, even with oil and sprays. The beach had a lot of seaweed this recent stay in late August but other times I’ve been there for lunch and their beach has been way cleaner. I’d say they should groom it perhaps which might also help cut down on flies and sand fleas. The toilet is separate from the shower/sink which is a bit inconvenient. Bath towels are rather chintzy. Tiny and thin like microfiber. Maybe larger and more luxurious towels. Wouldn’t cost much more but can make a big difference in the guest’s stay and add a classier feel. The internet is spotty. At times at night it worked well but most of the day time I could not connect and had to burn through my phone’s roaming data plan. They’re apparently getting Starlink in the fall which will be a game changer for guests and staff. I liked how they had a Roku smart tv setup which had Netflix ready to go without having to log in. That was nice when winding down at night as long as the internet was working. Upon arrival I’d recommend having 2 cold bottles of water in the fridge. I understand wanting to cut down on plastic waste but especially for travelers arriving on Sundays when virtually all grocery stores and markets are closed it was a bit pain finding water bottles anywhere. Overall I say Paradise Bay is 4-4.5 stars and a nicer, somewhat reasonably priced (all things considered) property compared to other choices in Exuma. There are definitely more affordable places but they’re more bare bones. PB is no Grand Isle or Sandals but it’s a great compromise middle of the road value for quality. Thanks for having me and I’ll probably see you guys again next time.

Loved the stay. Cottages were cute, clean, and fresh. Definitely rustic with a wood paneling roof. Nice touch. People were amazing, approachable, and knowledgeable always wanting to make us happy. Wish we could stay longer, but will be going back.

Great small hotel located on a wonderful beach. The bungalows are only steps from the beach and there is a restaurant with excellent food located on site. There is a small pool, but with such a beautiful beach with calm water, there was rarely anyone using it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially TC at reception desk. We are already planning on returning to Paradise Bay Bahamas and would highly recommend.

The Paradise Bay Hotel is a perfect getaway if you like a quiet, small, and informal hotel. I stayed in a one bedroom cottage which was very comfortable, but the best part is that the beach is just a fews steps away. And the water is simply glorious! There are Palapa umbrellas on the beach which you can usually find one to get out from under the sun. On most days, the beach didn't have many people and the length of the beach provides for a good walk. The restaurant on site (though independent from the hotel) has delicious food, and I always found the service extremely friendly and prompt. And that goes for Kenrisa, my housekeeper who always greeted me with a big smile and lovely chats. My only wish is that the cottage deck had been more comfortable for sitting and providing shade. But, that detail wouldn't stop me for returning as a guest in the future!

Solo trip for my bday. Everyone here was nice and friendly from the start. About 20 min ride from airport, $35 taxi ride. Grounds very clean. Small pool for relaxing. Amazing beach. Cabanas better than expected with AC that worked great. You can drink the tap water. Each unit had a hot water heater. Rooms cleaned daily. On site bar and restaurant. Bring bug spray and baby oil for sand flies and mosquitoes. One of the nicest beaches I have been to, secluded in a cove. Water like glass with beautiful color. I enjoyed hanging out with all the other guests. They have paddle boards and kayaks to use along with snorkel equipment. I didn’t see any sharks. You definitely need to come!!
