I don't like to make negative comments but... I found it expensive, lots of fruit and little açai. There is nowhere to sit. The worst thing is the taste of the açai. It is an industrialized and frozen açai.

Google
I ordered a Coconut breeze and it was so delicious, the fruit was fresh and the granola was crunchy good that went well with the splash of honey! Best acai bowl in the South Bay!! Super friendly and clean too!!

Google
As much as I want to support the local biz, this açaí bowl was objectively bad. Açaí filled 10-20% of bowl; remainder with granola and fruit. They forgot the peanut butter, so put a scoop on top. Tossed it after a few spoonfuls past the fruit. Just bland and not up to par. Oakberry better tasting and more consistent. Sorry, Paradise.

Google
The only way this place could be better is if there was an outdoor seating area to chill out in. The Kokomo smoothie was so delicious I basically inhaled it. The Razz Party bowl got 2 thumbs up from the little. We ordered a small and she almost finished it!

Google
bro these girls won’t stop talking to each other i’ve waited 30 min to get an açaí bowl. my bowl ended up being melted the moment i got to my car which was 5 min away. when they handed me the bowl i could tell it was sitting on the counter. they were two blonde girls and a guy. i came in at 3:30. i wish i didn’t tip.

Google
The açaí bowls here are seriously off… I ordered a medium and the bowl was filled maybe 10% with acai and 90% granola and fruit. I ordered extra granola and it seems they gave me less acai in order to fill it with granola? I’m not sure. I seriously had to dig to find the acai… so strange. Won’t be going here again.

Google
Staff move with absolutely zero urgency and don’t notify customers if it’s going to be a long wait. Over 20 min wait without advisement or acknowledgement

Andrew Morales

Google
First time back in years and it's good to know they're still delicious. The small is still a whopping 16oz and they fill the bowl to the top. The fruit that the put on top of the agai blend is equally delicious. I got the Guava Sunrise. The total with tip was about $9 and for the ratio and flavor, it's totally worth it. They practice proper safety guidelines, with takeout only. They have us wait outside for our order which they then call us in to pick it up.

Yelp
Love Paradise Bowls!! Best açaí ever, and the new design in Hermosa is so cute. Love all the retail items for sale, and that they focus on small local businesses.

Yelp
Love Paradise Bowls! The Gaucho bowl has always been my favorite Unfortunately, the last time I went there was a miscommunication. The person asked if I wanted any toppings. I said the only "TOPPINGS" I wanted were honey and granola. Regretfully, the only thing in the bowl was açaí, apple juice honey and granola A bit disappointing. Next time; I'll ensure I really clarify exactly what I'd like in the entire bowl. All in all- it's totally okay. It's just a bowl of fruit. We can't get upset about the small stuff in life and must allow grace to others. As an fYI. I highly recommend the Gaucho BOWL blend: Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, acai and apple juice. Then the added TOPPINGS of choice are: Granola, banana, honey, strawberries , blueberries Delicious!

Yelp
Yummy! Lots of different combinations on the menu; I don't think you could go wrong with any. Please note that there isn't any seating inside (but it's right across from the pier).

Yelp
The server was very nice and answered any questions I had. It was my first time coming to an acai bowl place. I decided to try one of the pitaya bowls, but when I got home and tried it, I think it just tasted too tart for my palate. Maybe I may try one of the acai bowls instead next time. It was delicious on a very hot day so the icey fruit flavors from the bowl was refreshing. since I don't like having too many toppings, I just chose two types of fruit. The place is a small storefront in Hermosa and has very chill vibes. Great for groups to hang out if they're grabbing something small to eat. overall, my friends liked it, but I'm not sure if it's suitable for my pallet because I tend to have more of a sweet tooth.

Yelp
They are conveniently located near the beach and downtown. It's very clean with fast, friendly service. You can customize your order just the way you like. Thank you to Alli the amazing manager and team. There something for every one of all ages! I will definitely be back. They have other locations too.

Yelp
I've been to Paradise Bowls a handful of times, but mostly when I'm at the beach. Pretty small place so there's really no way to eat the bowl inside considering how crowded it gets sometimes. I recommend taking the bowl to the beach. This last time, I got the Peach Bum, which is a blend with açaí, strawberries, peaches, banana, & coconut milk. It's topped with banana, strawberries, coconut, granola & honey. It's pretty good! The blend is not as flavorful as some other açaí blends that I've tried, but it was pretty good! A bit pricey, but on a hot summer day, it keeps the craving of something refreshing by the beach satisfied.

Yelp
Love the convenient location of paradise bowls in both Hermosa and Manhattan Beach. The Gaucho bowl is probably the only type I'll ever order - a true classic! I've added coconut to it before which I recommend. My only complaints would be it was a runnier consistency than I prefer and the customer service was lacking at this location compared to Manhattan Beach.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the acai bowls here. When it's busy it takes a bit of time but it's worth the wait. I visit here every time I'm in town and it's perfect to eat on the beach. I went on a Saturday but the team worked really quick and was friendly. I got the coconut breeze and it refreshing and not too sweet. I got a medium and could not finish it. Their portions are generous and worth the price.
google avatar

Su S.

Yelp
We ordered a small Guava Surprise and a small Peach Bum. The Peach Bum was fresh and delicious. It was not too sweet and perfect to my liking. The granola added a nice bite to the overall texture of the food. The fruits were ripe and tasty. The acai will start melting and turn the food into a smoothie. So, eat it while it's still frozen! Service was kind and really quick around noon on a Saturday. Ambiance is nice and more of a takeout vibe since the venue is so close to the beach.
google avatar

Gabe J.

Yelp
Was in town for the week and never tried an Açaí bowl, wasn't disappointed! Great service and got my bowl within a few minutes. Go with the coconut breeze if you don't know what to order!
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely adore here, and I visit this place whenever I come to Hermosa. Today, my morning sickness got worse, and I wanted to have some healthy snacks. I ordered chocolate arc, and small pieces of plastic came out .... Went back to the store and told them about the issue, but they didn't even say SORRY and acted like it's not a big deal! It's so disappointing!!
google avatar

Katya S.

Yelp
This is always my first stop when I come to the Hermosa/Manhattan Beach area. I have been coming here for 8 years! I absolutely love any of the açaí bowls, but mainly the chocolate arc because I have a sweet tooth. On days they're busy, be ready to wait quite a while. Ordering is quick, but they don't always have enough people working/enough room to accommodate so many orders. There's no seating area, so I say take your bowl and enjoy it by the beach!
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Love the many options for customization at Paradise bowls. I like that they are made to order including the base as often you can get a froyo style base filled with sugar and just a bit of fresh ingredients. Paradise allows you to select the liquid and fruit base, toppings, it's up to you and the options are endless. They do have a nice list of creations which are amazing and hit the spot every time. If you're in the mood for a light but satisfying meal, I highly recommend paradise.
google avatar

Yelp
Really yummy combos. Great size options. Prices were fair for being at the Beach. Went on a Saturday had a short wait but not too long.
google avatar

Natalie F.

Yelp
Paradise bowls has to be one of the best local açaí and smoothie location I've ever found 7 years ago. Not only do they do so good with filling the bowls but they make it with love. It's a perfect amount of fruit and açaí in a bowl. Service has never failed me before either and the workers usually get straight to working on your bowls and are so cool. Overall the environment in the shop is so quick and clean I appreciate the hermosa location.
google avatar

Yelp
delicious and super close to home, the only thing that isn't too exciting about this place is the price of these damn bowls. I still love paradise though.

Yelp
My wife and I were in the middle of a 6 mile walk from Manhattan Beach to Hermosa Beach and back and wanted something like ice cream as it was really hot out. We saw these two young ladies enjoying what looked like ice cream and asked where they got it and if it was good, and they told us where to go, which was about a block away. We were fortunate as there were only two people in line ahead of us, but by the time we got our order there were probably 8 waiting in line. We both ordered chocolate with lots of fruit, hers small and mine medium, both delicious although I'll order a small next time. Next time we're down in Hermosa Beach we'll probably go back
google avatar

Leanne N.

Yelp
Their chocolate arc bowl is my favorite! The only thing is their base is a bit watery, but the flavors are good!

Owen B.

Yelp
Terrible, takes 1 hour to make a smoothie. On diddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Claudia C.

Yelp
Came here the other day with my friend. I was very unsure what I wanted and the lady helping us out was very kind and patient. The wait was not too bad. The acai bowl had a lot of toppings to the perfect ratio of the acai. I recommend trying the chocolate arc acai bowl.
google avatar

Josh M.

Yelp
Store needs to update their hours if they're not actually open until 6pm. I went on Saturday around 5pm hoping to get a late smoothie but they were already closed.
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
We had the worst service possible at the Hermosa Beach location. We were second in line with nine people behind us and we received our bowl 30 minutes later! One person was sweeping most of the time one person was on her phone and one person was taking orders without attempting to make our order. They didn't even start our order until 20 minutes after we gave it. They made the orders after nine people had ordered. Everyone was pissed! Too bad it will be my last time going to that particular paradise bowl.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
My daughter LOVES this place, either location, Hermosa or Manhattan. The word is out, I recommend trying to call your order in advance. BUT, it's often so crowded that they don't answer the phone. On a busy day an order can take 20 minutes. WARNING. Our favorite smoothie is the Kokomo @$6.45, it has fresh banana, strawberries, mangoes, pineapple, acai, and pineapple juice. Before, during or after a bike ride on the strand, this delicious, healthy fuel for the body.

Yelp
Paradise bowl is a small store with only one bench and a high table but it's standing only. I love eating a healthy breakfast and this is what I would love to eat on the daily. It feels healthy and tasty at the same time. I ordered a small Guava sunrise which is blended açaí, peaches, mango, banana and guava juice. On top of that, they put banana, strawberries, granola, and honey. Portion size was already really good and I completely enjoyed my bowl of yumminess. The thing is it might be a little expensive for people to eat coming out around almost $10.00, but I felt that the fresh fruits were worth it. I don't actually know where you would have to find parking at but the location itself is super walkable to the shore.
google avatar

Justine L.

Yelp
Terrible parking, no seats inside and they make you wait outside, as well as scream your name when they're ready to give you what you just payed for. They pretty much said it was a 10 minute wait which is crazy and there's not a lot of people ahead of me. I had high hopes for this place but got disappointed. 1 star!!!
google avatar

Michele S.

Yelp
I can't complain about a thing! The bowl was refreshing large and the flavors were all fresh and delicious. It was so fun grabbing a bowl and walking along the beach- the location of this place is amazing. Because of Covid we couldn't wait inside for our bowls but that was just fine we were glad that they were following the highest form of safety standards
google avatar

Susanna O.

Yelp
Pretty good bowl options, they're fast and get your order right. What else could you want? My favorite açaí place in town :)
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Great Customwr service. I loved the bowl I got. None of the fruit were mushy, but super fresh and nice. This is a great treat to have and is super filling.
google avatar

Karen M.

Yelp
I was on a work trip and needed to grab breakfast - something besides hotel food! I stopped by and ordered an açaí bowl and the ingredients were fresh. The consistency of the açaí was spot on! This shop is in a great location because you can walk a few blocks down to the beach and enjoy your bowl or smoothie there! I also tried a smoothie here the day before and it was delicious.
google avatar

Yuki N.

Yelp
Since I didn't see much customers, I decided to have a bowl here, but I waited like 15 minutes. There were five employees, but they were just talking and only two people were making bowls. And, the girl skipped my order and made a bowl for a guy who ordered after me. She also took extra time to put the toppings on my bowl, so mine was so soupy when I finally tasted it. I got California Greens which blended with kale, spinach, and some fruits, but I am sure that I could find much better/tastier smoothie bowls here in Los Angeles.

Brenda R.

Yelp
Came in to try their chocolate arc bowl and it was delicious! The service was good, will definitely be back again!
google avatar

Maisha R.

Yelp
Having been to the Newport Beach location a few years ago, I knew that I was in for a treat when we stopped by this shop. We got four bowls, three of which were gaucho bowls. They had banana, strawberries, blueberries, acai, and apple juice blended for the base. They were topped with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and honey and making substitutions for fruits was no issue. The coconut breeze bowl base consisted of banana, pineapple, mango, acai, and coconut milk. It was topped with bananas, mango, coconut shavings, granola, and honey. At $7 for a small and $9 for a medium, the bowls aren't the cheapest thing around but the value is there. Everything at this place is delicious! I love that their bases are full of flavor and that the toppings are generous. These bowls were the perfect start to our morning!

Karen G.

Yelp
After a long hot walk, I walked in for a refreshing Paradise Bowl. There were 3 employees all very busy washing dishes, blending fruit and a yound man doing busy work. No one greeted me for 7 minutes, the man began preparing a bowl, he never looked up, smiled or spoke. The other two young women were in the back. 7 minutes is a long time to stand there without being acknowledged. Finally a young woman walked forward and took my order. I graciously said good morning and smiled. When the man finished making my order, he somewhat slammed in on the counter and shouted my name. Never looked at me or spoke. I have to say they were all very rude, and I hope the owner is aware.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
I am hooked! I stopped here visiting a friend in Los Angeles, and I went back the next 2 days. The bowls are fresh, filling, colorful, healthy, and affordable! I've had similar bowls in many places, but none have all of those things in one. Highly recommend Paradise Bowls!
google avatar

Tay L.

Yelp
Their açaí bowls are great. It is a great location especially nice to walk here after a hermosa beach day.
google avatar

Yelp
Best. Bowl. I've. Ever. Had Granted I was a little bit hungry which makes your tastebuds more open to experiencing extreme flavors.. but no, this place goes beyond just the hungry factor - It is damn delicious! I walked up to the front door (which by the way isn't where maps says it is, you may have to walk a block from where it drops you off) and it was super dark inside so I thought they closed. Thank the heavens I saw the open sign in the corner because they were about to make my tough day flip around. With so many amazing combinations I was so hesitant to pick just one but finally decided on the Guava Sunshine bowl - Best decision ever! The staff were super kind and could probably tell I was having a rough time so I really appreciate their kindness. The packed my the bowl so heavy with fruit toppings I'm not sure if it was sympathy or luck but I was so thankful. While it didn't taste much like guava, and the kiwis were an interesting touch, it was love at first bite. I scarfed that thing down so quick and was happily full for hours. You could tell the ingredients were extremely fresh and not cheap sugar juice based. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area and hopefully get to try more and more combinations each visit. Thank you for your kind customer service and the amazing breakfast!
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
One of the best acai places I've ever had. The sizes are we're considerate . I was stuffed by the time I finished the medium. I got the peanut butter pitaya with almond milk instead of coconut milk and completely changed my topping free of charge (: Walking distance from the pier so it was extra convenient ! Service is great , be patient , they make it when you order and it takes some time
google avatar

Ion G.

Yelp
Great to see Apple Pay contactless support! Usually have a smoothie or bowl at least once a week during my work/walks. Staff are friendly and food is fresh and healthy. After busy weekends they are often out of certain ingredients on a Monday.
google avatar

M K.

Yelp
The point: I think you could get a better açai bar elsewhere, at juice crafters or the hive. My story: I tried calling twice to place an order over the phone But they didn't answer their phone, My boyfriend and I decided just to come to the store and order in person. The employee saw my dog and told me I had to leave and I mention it was a service dog and she still told me I had to leave. The woman was so rude I'm never coming back to this location again. Customer service is a very important part of a business
google avatar

Tiff M.

Yelp
Paradise Bowls is a solid acai bowl, but there's nothing special about it. I do appreciate that they have a robust offering with acai and pitaya flavors. I was disappointed when I paid almost $9 for a small Razz Bowl, that it was only filled halfway. They definitely topped it off with too much bananas and strawberries, so the proportions were a little off for me. The granola was bland compared to other acai bowl places with comparable quality and prices. Went on a crowded weekend, so it was a little chaotic inside as some people were waiting to order and get their food.
google avatar

Meri A.

Yelp
The best Açaí Bowl!! It's super smooth and not icy like other places! Staff is also super friendly and nice I am surprise this business doesn't have 5 stars here
google avatar

Frank N.

Yelp
I was a fan for years. Until yesterday. After playing a bit of volleyball we went there... and they had temporary sign saying they can't take cards without a chip in them... mine is a temporary because I had my Identity stolen last week and only has a magnetic strip. So I send my son back to car to get cash.... which was several ones and a 100$ I order... then they say they can't take a 100$ bill.... I'm like are you kidding me?? You have a problem with YOUR machine and after I go back to car .... you won't take cash? They were also basically rude about face masks, I removed my mask for about 4 seconds so my son could hear me and an employee shouts "put your mask on" I'm trying to help local businesses and they were beyond rude and don't deserve my business. Which is a shame especially as I'd like to promote and conduct business locally.
google avatar

Darren R.

Yelp
We Ordered the large 32oz Acai bowls Was very good Only 1 star cause the spoons were super shitty and I could barely mix it. I am sure the other sizes this might be accepted but don't get a medium or large bowl for your self since the spoons won't support it Makes me very up set as I love açaí and have had it at a lot of place my pet peeve is the utensils. If they order better spoons and confirm this for the customs I will update to 5 stars. Customer obsession is key, pls order good large spoons ASAP. Thanks :D
google avatar

Shanna M.

Yelp
All the selections are amazing but we loved the Gaucho and Peanut Butter Pipeline. Only downside is you can't order online and no one answered the phone to take an order.
google avatar

Emily V.

Yelp
Solid açaí bowl spot! I always go here after a day at Hermosa Beach. If you're into peanut butter/chocolate/fruit mixes, I would recommend my favorite - the Chocolate Arc. The 16 ounce was $8 while the 24 ounce was $10(obviously I paid the $2 for the extra 8 ounces). It's a good amount of food, and I was able to share the medium with my friend and leave satisfied. The fruit and fruit blends here are fresh and refreshing.

Taylor S.

Yelp
Love this place but waited 25 minutes for my bowl when it wasn't even busy. Two people who ordered after me got their bowls before me. Workers were moving very slow and just talking. Love this place but was pretty annoyed after this encounter.
google avatar

Cassidy D.

Yelp
First of all... YUM! This is what I was looking forward to during my visit to Hermosa, and it did not let me down a bit! Normally, I walk in and end up having to wait in a long, loud line. However, I was the first customer when I visited today! I came at an odd time, about 2:15, and on a cloudy day. I ordered a small (16 oz) California Greens and my sister ordered a medium (24 oz) Razz Party, both of which were delicious! The total came out to about $17.00, which is a little pricey in my opinion, but completely worth it. The only regret I have about this visit is not ordering a bigger size in my bowl! It was definitely filling, but so good and I wanted more!

John U.

Yelp
Great food, service is slow because they do each bowl separately but worth the wait. I like to call ahead or order on line.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
Great bowl to eat along the beachfront! Ordered the açaí bowl with bananas, strawberries, granola, honey, coconut and coco nibs!
