Great amenities wish we could have stayed longer. The spa is a bit of a letdown, essentially just a bunch of different temperature pools and several children running around not much privacy. The gym was good but the property is fairly big so the facilities get a bit crowded. We loved our room, super comfortable bed and some Korean sweet treats when we checked in. It’s very close to a lot of things in Busan. The hotel also has a casino attached if you’re into that. Right next to the boardwalk for a relaxing sunrise or sunset walk along the beach. Very friendly staff English was great. They have several restaurants on the property as well. We had the breakfast buffet with a combination of western and Korean cuisine. The Korean food was great, western food was not as great.

An average stay experience. I was hoping for an unforgettable stay from this 5-star hotel, but what I got was ordinary and left no lasting impression. The room had a nice view, but the furniture felt old. The in-room and bathroom amenities were only basic. During check-in, there was a moth on the wall inside the room. Staff came twice, then vacuumed it and simply said “sorry” and “thank you.” Facilities that are usually freely accessible in other hotels were limited here — they had quotas and could only be used once per night. The swimming pool was also nothing special. Aside from the comfortable bed, beautiful view, and strategic location, there was no added value from this hotel. It was our wedding anniversary — we didn’t expect much, but we also didn’t expect it to be so underwhelming.

We stayed at Paradise Hotel and really enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and spa area, both were relaxing and beautifully maintained. Check-in was breezy and easy, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. However, the biggest downside was the room temperature. When we arrived, the room was already extremely hot (around 25°C / 77.9°F). Despite setting the thermostat lower, the temperature never dropped. I called the front desk and was told the entire building’s climate is centrally controlled, meaning guests can’t adjust their own heat or AC. We had to keep the curtains closed and the windows open just to get a bit of cool air, but the room stayed uncomfortably warm all night. Even with an extra fan offered by the staff, it didn’t make much difference. For a five-star hotel charging $325 per night, I expected to at least be able to control the temperature in my own room. The amenities and staff were wonderful, but not being able to sleep comfortably really affected the experience. Unfortunately, because of that, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

We were very disappointed during our experience here. Once known as Busan’s best hotels, Paradise has clearly cut costs at the expense of guests. The air conditioning shuts off based on outdoor temperature, leaving our ocean-view room at 28°C overnight — uncomfortably hot. The main building smelled of dried sewer, disguised with diffusers and air filters. Staff were polite and moved us to the new building, but the AC there was still weak, barely reaching 25.5°C. When a technician told us to close the curtains to cool the room. Why pay a premium for an ocean view you can’t enjoy? They did offer us a fan or to move to a city facing view but we had enough. We left one night into our five day trip and booked the Signiel instead. Furnishings are now worn and the building could use some TLC.

FLAVORED HOT TUBS. We are American and maybe this is a Korean thing but it was really cool. The hotel is beautiful. The hot tub area was just great. watermelon, plum blueberry and mango hot tubs. Super strong jets in the jet pools and all the people were having a great time. Their outdoor area was just beautiful with all the trees by the beach. their bar served really good drinks. we enjoyed our time here.

We loved the room. The view was excellent, and the food at their buffet was delicious, too. We traveled with small children, and they had activities for them, so that was awesome. Parking is small, but the location is very convenient!

A truly terrible hotel. It claims to be a five star hotel, but I would call it a three star hotel at the most. You walk into the lobby and it’s nice enough, but the rest is not. The service is bad. The room is not nice, with dirty carpet and scratched furniture. Everything about it was disappointing. The room doesn’t even come with a coffee machine, which is ridiculous for a luxury hotel. We asked if we could get one and they said they charge to bring up coffee to the room. The AC also never worked and the room stayed at 25 degrees, and they said there was nothing they could do. The hotel is so full, it takes multiple elevators to finally fit into one that isn’t overflowing with people. They also said I could get tax free at check-out, and when I checked out they said it wasn’t possible with my prepaid reservation (other hotels haven’t had any problems with that). When we told them our issues at checkout they said there they were sorry but didn’t do anything to fix it. If you want a true luxury hotel, stay at the Signiel (staying there was a 10/10 experience). Do not stay here.

We stayed two nights at Paradise Hotel Busan. The room was clean and well-maintained, though it felt a bit outdated. We were able to check in early through Amex Platinum and Fine Hotels & Resorts, but did not receive a room upgrade.||The location is excellent — right on the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The hotel’s amenities are strong across the board. We tried the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, which felt slightly overpriced, but the food quality, presentation, and ingredients were all top-tier.||The BMW Driving Experience was a highlight. My child loved it, and the staff running the program were fantastic.||Pool access was good but nothing extraordinary. The pool is just like any other outdoor pool. Cimer, the hotel’s spa/pool complex, is essentially a series of warm jacuzzis — comfortable but extremely crowded.||The breakfast buffet is terrific — a true standout. Note: Amex Platinum guests appear to be routed to the Annex Lounge for breakfast, which is more limited. We opted to eat at the main buffet instead, as guests with children under 4 are not allowed in the Annex Lounge. The main buffet had significantly more variety and worked much better for our needs. My child loved the fridge stocked with various milk and soy milk products. There were some complaints about food quality below, and they weren't reflective of my personal experience.||While hotel staff were generally very nice, my experience with the concierge was underwhelming. They weren't able to handle most requests, which I thought were fairly standard. In the end, it was often easier to handle bookings myself.||Overall, this is a solid luxury property with a prime location and strong amenities, though service consistency could be improved. I would stay here again due to the variety of their amenities.
