The best thing in this location is the beach. The rooms and the quality of the services are way below the requested price. Old and damaged doors at the room entrance. Loud music is coming from other places near the village during the night. The breakfast is very poor and basic, but this is a normality in most places in DR. Dinner can be served latest at 6.30 pm, after this time we couldn’t find a clean place to eat in the neighbourhood. It was quite weird and not safe on the near streets during the night. The hotel didn’t pay back the guarantee into our bank account. We called at the bank a few times for this, we called the hotel, but unfortunately we never got back that amount….

This was the best place I have ever been to on the coast, beautiful clear waters, peaceful, the food was amazing, very affordable and the service was top level, friendly fun and lots to see and do.

Great tour and lunch. The crew was wonderful to help people in our group with limited mobility. They made the day together wonderful. The snorkeling and natural pools were a great attraction and we had plently of time at each. The lobster at lunch was delicious so was the Tilapia, they also have the best pina colada (non-alcholic) around.

A really beautiful boutique hotel. Service is outstanding, the restaurant food is amazing. Great views and the most beautiful beach you'll ever see. Clean water, perfect sand. Great excursions to Paradise Island as well. Not far from other beaches and restaurants, highly recommend

I came to visit my uncle in Punta Rusia and he took me to the best beach ever called Paradise Island beach resort. The water is crystal clear and baby blue. The service is good. The drinks are authentic, and natural! I recommend this place to everyone. I had an amazing day!

really bad experience, this "hotel" is not worth $100 a night in any way, I feel scammed. There is not enough water or pressure. They don't even have a reception at night to make a claim. Very poor breakfast 😥 I can only highlight the cleanliness and kindness of the staff. In general, I don't think it is a good idea to sleep in Punta Rusia because they are not prepared for tourism.

Best tour to Cayo Arena, ask for Mimo he is the best captain and gives the greatest attention. His team gives you the best experience in the boat, music, drink and the delicious ceviche. Piña colada is so far the best I have ever tried!!

We had a wonderful time at Paradise Island Beach Resort. The staff was incredibly friendly and greeted us with warmth and courtesy. Our room was lovely, offering a mesmerizing ocean view during dusk from the balcony on the top floor. The food was delicious, and we relished trying various items from the menu, especially the delectable tacos. Kudos to the cleaning staff for maintaining our room impeccably. The excursion to Cayo de Arena was a blast, and Carlos, our guide, made it even more enjoyable with his insightful tour of the mangroves. Snorkeling and feeding the fishes were unforgettable experiences. While our stay was exceptional, there were a couple of minor issues that could be improved for future guests—the low water pressure and power failures on our last night. Despite these hiccups, our overall experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to return for another visit in the future.
