A good place to pick up Sri Lanka inspired home wear. Great wrapping service for gifts and transporting to take back home from your visit to Colombo. Something for everyone but be ready to wish you had more luggage space if you are not local. On the 1st floor there is also a lovely little cafe which serves a delicious cup of masala chai.

My favorite place to buy goods for my home just got updated! Great place with loads of quirky, random stuff in addition to useful stuff which will definitely bring a smile to your face! Staff is really helpful. Parking will not be a problem at all. Highly recommended!

This is perhaps my favorite place to shop in Colombo every time I come here. Although I have been visiting this for over 6 years ... nothing much has changed. I wish they introduced new patterns and items. My favorite here is the Tamil script mugs plates and bowls. It's always a hit when I take them back home.

An absolutely stunning store! Every little thing here is selected with love and care. Like an onion, the store reveals layer after layer of gorgeous merchandise-from small curios to life size sculptures. Steeped in post modern Sri Lankan art and design, you’ll find so many irresistible things to pick up! The vintage figurines in wood and stone really breathtaking and it’s likely you’ll go overboard with the crockery and glassware. If you’d like to take a break and ruminate over your selection, walk up to the cute little cafe which serves the most amazing carrot cake, best enjoyed over a Doppio. Paradise ships all over the world for a fee of around USD 500 per cubic meter. Enjoy!

Really nice store - quite pricey, but we had only one weekend in Colombo, and so went straight here. Ceramics are beautiful, and so are the table linens. Rates vary from 1000-3500LKR for a plate as a reference. The store also has the Gallery Cafe in it in case you want a bite while you shop!

I am an Indian and I with my husband and 6 month old daughter were on a tour of Sri Lanka. Last day was in columbo and we had planned the day so as to include paradise road in our must visit places. We checked online and got to know, 7pm is the closing time. We rushed and reached at 6.20pm only to be greeted by an extremely rude and obnoxious bald gentleman who asked us to run and rush since the closing time is 7pm. He constantly kept asking us what are you looking for? Do you have anything in mind? He told us to hurry up since they have to be home. He kept staring at us and made us very uncomfortable. I requested him to give me 5 mins, and that I will quickly just glance at all the items on both the floors. He looked at the watch again, made a face and said okay but 5 mins strictly. (This was 6.40pm). We ran as if we were on some treasure hunt. Quickly picked up stuff we liked and rushed to the billing desk. This was 6.55pm. As we were waiting for the billing, 3 white skinned English people entered the store and he very politely said closing time is 7 pm.and that he can wait for 10 mins for them and they can go through the store and see what they like. We were shocked to see the change of tone, attitude and behaviour towards white skinned people. The overall experience was horrible and pathetic with the staff/ bald gentleman/owner being extremely racist. They think they are living in a paradise but the experience is that of a hell. Shameful!

The outlet offer good varieties of souvenirs, dining cutlery, handy craft, carving of stone and woods. All these are display within the outlet to its maximum, making it difficult to move around with comfort. Stairway to upper level is narrow Nd step too. Unless one have specific items to look for from this place, there are many other shops that offer better comfort shopping experience.

Thirty years ago I bought masses of table linen from Paradise Road on a diplomatic posting and I still use it to this day. I was delighted to revisit today and not only shopped up a storm but had a lovely lunch in the Café with probably the first decent latte I’ve had since arriving a ten days ago! The coconut/salad spoons are of a better quality here, unique stuffed toys, table linen and Christmas napkins and holders were all on the list. Unique Expresso cups went in and multiple beautiful sarongs as gifts. It has some great quality gifts for taking back overseas . Staff were helpful . Parking out front and a clean bathroom near the Cafe area. Staff beautifully wrapped everything for suitcase travel .
