8 Best All-inclusive Resorts in Bali

"A family-oriented beachfront resort that also appeals to food-minded travelers, offering a lagoon-style pool, a strong kids' club and easy beach access. Its all-inclusive plan provides unlimited access to five on-site restaurants and a 24-hour bar that serves nonalcoholic options like coffee, enabling guests to sample diverse cuisines—Spanish tapas one night and sushi the next—without leaving the property. The resort also allows guests to add flights to their inclusive package for simplified travel planning." - Evie Carrick Evie Carrick Evie Carrick is a writer and editor who’s lived in five countries and visited well over 50. Our stay at Melia Bali was absolutely perfect from start to finish.|The resort feels like a tropical sanctuary — surrounded by lush gardens, with direct beach access and a peaceful, elegant atmosphere.||The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and designed for ultimate comfort. Every detail, from the welcome drink to the evening turndown service, made us feel genuinely cared for. The staff is exceptional — always smiling, attentive, and ready to help with anything.

wonderful hotel, excellent service, beautiful pool, comfortable rooms. ||the hotel is pricey for food and drink but eth beach restaurant is worth it. Also locally there is a shopping area with really nice restaurants at a fraction of the price. 5 mins walk

I felt like I had entered a peaceful oasis. The lush greenery, the sound of waves, and the warm Balinese hospitality made me feel instantly at home.||||The staff here are incredible and always smiling, always ready to help, and genuinely making sure every moment feels special. Whether it was the thoughtful gestures or just the way they made me feel welcome, I could tell they truly cared.

My husband and I came here as our first hotel on our honeymoon. We did the all inclusive and it was nice to not limit ourselves because they also offer non all inclusive. We stayed in a regular room, which was good with us because we didn’t spend much time in the room. The rooms definitely need to be updated, as they are doing renovations from my understanding soon, so that’s good they acknowledge that! I am gluten free and they had a lot of food options if you asked! They have gluten free bread, pasta and pizza! Also the coffee shop on site has gluten free pastries which was included in the all inclusive. Everyone there was great and very friendly. We also enjoyed the spa the day after we got there after our long flight and it was wonderful. The resort is pretty kid focused but the kids never bothered us. We were only there for a few nights which we thought was more than enough and wish the breakfast varied a little more day to day, but the juices at breakfast were always top notch & it was nice to have an egg station. They do not mark allergens on the buffet, which would have been a huge help to me, but I just ate what I knew I could. Overall, it was great for relaxing as a first stop on our honeymoon but I don’t think we would have wanted to stay there longer than 4 nights!

The hotel was old but well maintained. Beautiful green view around the hotel area. The staff was very good in helping the guests in all areas. We stayed for 3 nights and didn't have a chance to sit around the pool area as always. We took the all inclusive packages and it was the best decision, we enjoyed our breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks no limit including mini bar and room service. We feel that they spoiled the quest with this package offer so guests can have the best experience staying at the hotel. The cocktail range that included on the package is OK but all the food from every restaurant is good. We love our daily jamu drinks too. We definitely will come back again next time.

Had leaky AC in the room and also very noisy and rattled. However, maintenance guy’s cane and fixed it quickly so thumbs to their service and efficiency. Great room, we had a lagoon pool suite, was great. Food average at the hotel so we ate our after the first night

I really wanted to give this hotel a higher rating, but after some thought, this is the best I can do. My family opted for the all-inclusive package and tried to experience everything the resort had to offer. The kids loved the Kids Club—no complaints there. My wife and I made use of the sporting facilities, including the squash courts (which are air-conditioned but have a deteriorating floor), tennis courts, and bikes for rides along the beach path. However, the entire resort feels quite outdated, nowhere near a five-star standard. They are planning renovations soon, so I would suggest waiting to book until after those are complete. We’ve visited Bali before and know how to be cautious with the water, but despite being careful, both my wife and I got Bali belly at different times. After considering all the factors, we believe it came from the drinks, which was quite frustrating. There’s essentially only one pool everyone can use unless you’ve booked one of the exclusive ones, which limits the experience. Room service food was subpar compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at on the island. Some of the restaurants, like the Japanese one, were exceptional—truly top-tier—but others, like El Patio, were lacking in quality. One big issue was the pool chairs. There’s a rule that towels left unattended will be removed, but it’s not enforced. We found the same guests claiming the best spots every morning, leaving their belongings there for hours without showing up. Enforcing this rule would really help others enjoy those prime spots closer to the pool. The buzzers for ordering food or drinks by the pool rarely worked, although the staff, when they did come by, were always friendly and helpful. The YHI Spa is easily a five-star experience—my wife and I both had multiple massages, and each one was fantastic. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The bathrooms are dated, with poor water pressure and small, outdated shower heads. It just doesn't feel like a five-star resort in this condition. On a positive note, the gardens are beautifully maintained and a pleasure to walk through. In summary, while there were some high points, especially the spa and some of the restaurants, the resort is currently not at the five-star level it claims to be. I’d recommend waiting until after the renovation to see if it improves.
