Fantastic hotel in an amazing location – the perfect mix of city and beach! Everything is spotless and beautifully maintained. The beach is gorgeous, with soft white sand and a lovely sandy bottom in the sea. Service throughout the resort is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even the smallest issues are resolved within minutes and with great care for the guests. After a few negative experiences in the Cancun area, we finally found a great place where we can truly relax and enjoy every moment of our vacation. We can’t thank enough all the wonderful people working here who make you feel comfortable, welcome, and completely at ease. The only area that could use a bit of improvement is the food. The buffet offers international cuisine, but we sometimes found it difficult to find really tasty options – although we admit we may be a bit picky when it comes to food. Management should pay more attention to this area, and perhaps consider additional training for the kitchen team to prepare international dishes more consistently and authentically. On the bright side, the bar and grill by the main pool completely makes up for it! The food there is fresh and delicious, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Drinks are always refreshing, and the cocktails are strong enough to satisfy even the most demanding guest. Room service is exceptional, with cleaning available twice a day if you want it. The minibar is generously stocked with a great variety of drinks, which was a very nice touch. Overall, we’ve found another great place we’ll happily return to again and again in the future!

The Paradisus La Perla was an amazing resort! Such a high-end beautiful and luxurious resort, with such an incredible tropical nature feel. The beach is scrumptious! The food is gormet (including amazing gluten free options expertise and care) and very high quality. The best part is the staff; they go way above and beyond to ensure you are enjoying your stay. We will be doing a more detailed review on a couple of other platforms, but in one line, this place knocked it out of the park! Kudos to all of the amazing staff. This was an outstanding holiday from start to finish. We booked a reserve swim out at La Perla. Our concierge, Veronica, took care of and anticipated every need. She is such a kind and genuine person and it was a pleasure knowing her. Henan in the reserve lobby bar is a quiet reserved fellow but it’s worth the time to chat with him. He made our evening night cap so enjoyable it was highlight of our days here. Alfredo at the reserve pool is a gem. He’ll keep you laughing and entertained all day. The food was exceptional for an all inclusive. Best we have ever had. The Italian on the family side was our least favorite but lemon fish and tokimeku are outstanding. Great entertainment in the south bar but if that’s not your vibe there are plenty of quiet corners to enjoy a cocktail. This was our first visit. The upgrades are worth the money. We will be back for sure.

We stayed at Paradisus La Perla in The Reserve area in January 2026 and had an amazing experience. The room was spacious, elegant, and impeccably comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety and quality of the restaurants and food options throughout the resort. A special thanks to our concierge, José Carlos, who was incredibly attentive, helpful, and always available, making our stay even more pleasant. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, contributing to a truly relaxing and luxurious vacation atmosphere. The resort’s ambiance is sophisticated yet inviting, perfect for unwinding. We highly recommend Paradisus La Perla for anyone visiting Playa del Carmen looking for excellent service and top-notch hospitality. I can’t enough about this place. Coming back from our 3rd time in a year. This place definitely does it right. From the the food, amenities and top notch service that remembers your name walking in, asking have family is, they truly care about making your stay the best they can. Roberto our concierge at the reserve is amazing. Then you think it can’t get any better there’s Chris running the pool service and all your needs taking care of. While relaxing pool side there’s Alfredo and his partners Jasmin and Daniel keeping the drinks and lunch service running smooth. It’s never see you later, it’s see you soon! Can’t wait to come back.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, and once again we had a wonderful experience. There was a small misunderstanding with our booking this time, but it was resolved immediately and extremely generously. The food at the resort is absolutely outstanding and leaves nothing to be desired. The entire staff does an excellent job. However, I would like to give special praise to Nestor (Resort Concierge), who always took perfect care of us and other guests. He truly goes above and beyond to make everything possible and has an incredibly warm and pleasant way of interacting with people. I can highly recommend this resort. It has everything you need for a perfect vacation: a beautiful beach, great pools, very spacious rooms, exceptional food, extremely attentive and friendly staff, and a fantastic location.

Really loved staying here - especially thanks to Carlos (J. Carlos Bretón)!! Carlos was an absolutely amazing Concierge! You will be so lucky to have him. He is incredibly kind, attentive and personable. He went out of his way countless times to make sure we were taken care of and that everything was going smoothly for us. Really great concierge, but also just a wonderful person. We will miss him!

This was our 4th time here. Excellent service, friendly people and beautiful surroundings. A special thank you to Christopher, pool concierge for always taking such good care of us and going over and above with service. Renau at the Sante catered to our every need for breakfast and lunch. He's the reason we keep coming by back. Carlos our room concierge kept in touch everyday to keep us informed, on time and always helping. The only complaint I have is that this year the number of "non reserve guests" visiting and being served in the reserve areas was disheartening. We pay extra for the privilege. I hope something will be done about that before we come next year.
