Our group of five friends celebrated two birthdays at the La Perla and stayed on the adults side of resort in the Reserve section. We have visited many AL and The Reserve exceeded our expectations.||The property is beautifully maintained, service was attentive and food was excellent. There are a lot of restaurants and bar options and plenty of seating around the adult and reserve pools and on the beach. ||The only thing I would recommend is more entertainment in the evening. There was no shows or live music to enjoy pre or post dinner. There were some magicians in the family section but definitely geared towards young children.||Every staff member that we interacted with was friendly and helpful but a few were exemplary. Edwardo, our dedicated concierge was great in getting us reservations, info on activities and following up on specific requests. Yusmera our pool attendant and the gentleman in the towel hut made our pool time extra special.|At Sal steakhouse, Humberto C and Jacil took great care in the food presentation and in celebrating one of our birthdays.|We visited Hadar buffet for breakfast and Netupa and Alex knew us by name after the first day, and they remembered how we each took our coffee. That’s impressive!||Also the lifeguards who are also EMTs took excellent care of my husband after he fell and cut his arm. Not the fault of the resort, just distracted walking on wet floors. He refused togo to an outside clinic so they cleaned it up and followed up in the evening and again the next morning to change the bandage. Very knowledgeable and professional. ||Overall we will definitely return to this resort.

This was our fourth stay at this resort and we stayed 8 nights this time. The experience and service were phenomenal as usual. Some of the staff who made us feel really special are: Yusmara's service at the Reserve pool was very friendly and attentive and filled with laughter. Hernan from the hospitality lounge in the Reserve was outstanding from the first day. He was always welcoming and willing to provide whatever we needed. Humberto, also from the pool, made sure we were comfortable and looked after every day. At Hadar restaurant both Ernesto and Rolando gave us amazing service for breakfast. They even remembered our beverage preferences and had them ready every day. At the YHI Spa we had massages with Alberto and Santiago. They were very professional and we highly recommend them. So much so that I went for a second massage with Alberto! The food and service at Sante restaurant was delicious and outstanding every day. ||On a final note we missed Alfredo by the pool on this visit. He was on a well deserved vacation and we look forward to seeing him on our next visit. Thank you very much to all the behind the scenes staff, i.e. room service and housekeeping, for all your hard work and know that it doesn't go unnoticed. Overall we love this place and highly recommend the Reserve and the services at YHI spa.

I have been to Mexico many times and many all inclusives. This was the best in terms of food and service as well general overall experience. Hotel was clean and modern. And pool area service was amazing. A special shout out to Elvis in the adults only section of the pool area. He remembered what we wanted and we never had to ask. He knew our names and was great to talk to. Elvis was and is amazing. Be sure to sit in his area.

We had the most amazing stay at Paradisus La Perla – Adults Only in Playa del Carmen! From start to finish, the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to Cynthia, our concierge, who went above and beyond to make sure every part of our trip was seamless. She was always attentive, helpful, and made us feel completely taken care of. We also want to give a special shoutout to Yasmura, Tony, Antonio, and Eddy (and many, many more) – each of them brought so much warmth, professionalism, and energy to our experience. Whether it was helping us with reservations, providing great recommendations, or simply making us smile throughout the day, they all played a big part in making our vacation unforgettable. The resort itself is beautiful – stunning pools, delicious food, and a relaxing yet lively atmosphere. Every corner of the property feels well cared for, and the staff truly make the experience what it is. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back. Highly recommend Paradisus La Perla for anyone looking for a luxury adults-only getaway in Playa del Carmen!

On my recent trip my husband kept telling everyone this is mi casa!||.||This is our 5th trip and definitely will not be our last. PARADISUS LA PERLA is our home away from home and for many reasons. It starts with the welcome when we arrive and check in is a breeze. The suite was so beautiful and cleanliness is top priority for the Resort and this goes for everywhere. ||Let's talk about the restaurants and the servers. Nelvia, Carlos and Ismael at the Hadar Restaurant were so attentive and we were able to expand upon our Spanish by conversing with them. I must thank Sebastian at the Bar for making us the most amazing drinks, this man is a genius. Please try the mango Tamarindo and coconut with Hibiscus rimmed around the glass.||We hung out at the Nesspresso coffee and snack area and Olivia really introduced us to some new lattes and coffee drinks. The pastries are wonderful and no favorites here as we love them all.||We love Paradisus for the wonderful feeling it provides and the relaxing athmosphere. There is the beach and it adds so much beauty to the Resort. There is a lovely pool with a swim up bar and water activities.||We miss the Holas! and the greetings everywhere we go.||Just make your reservation and go and you will never regret it. ||Mi Casa! I will be back soon.||||||||||

The grounds along with the interior of this resort are incredibly stunning 🌟. Pictures 📸don't do this place justice. I received a room upgrade to The Reserve section which was a nice touch. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but there were a few things that I didn't like. Although this is an "all inclusive resort," there are many things such as fresh coconut water, the tiki cabana beds at the pool and the steakhouse that are not included. (These are luxuries I've experienced at other all inclusive resorts that were actually included.) There are also other areas that are off limits unless you purchase The Reserve package. I spoke to a number of people who paid extra for The Reserve perks, but they all said it wasn't worth the money. The Nespresso machines and espresso cups in the rooms were an annoying hassle. If you want to wake up and immediately enjoy a decent sized cup of coffee, you either need to call room service and endure a 45 minute wait, or physically leave your room to visit the coffee shop or breakfast buffet. Most of the restaurants require reservations, and most of them aren't for adults only. It was disappointing to dress up for a lovely dinner each night which was then accompanied by screaming babies and toddlers who were dining in the restaurants. It definitely killed the vibe. The food overall was very bland and underwhelming at each restaurant. The best dish I enjoyed was the birria at Cielo (Mexican cuisine). The tacos at Blue Agave were surprisingly disappointing. BEWARE- There are raccoons that will approach you while dining at Blue Agave. This alone, stopped me from returning. Back to the positive aspects- Ernesto, the pool waiter, was an absolute dream. He was so kind and attentive every single day. He's a true gentleman ✨. I also loved that you can have lunch at the pool. Being able to enjoy food while still lounging at the pool made things very convenient. The spa was amazing, and the service was incredible. The spa includes a beautifully tranquil area with a jacuzzi, cool tub and pool that you can enjoy after your massage. The room service breakfasts ☀️were plentiful and satisfying. Hadar was another good breakfast option. The foam pool party was a blast, with amazing music, cool energy and a great way to end the trip. I probably won't return to La Perla, but it was a nice trip overall.

The resort is beautiful, and clean. Nature is incorporated in the building and embraced outside the building. The rooms are generous and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I also enjoyed the cats, coatis, raccoons and birds around and in the property. The spa area is relaxing and well designed. Two points of criticism I have- the food quality is inconsistent. We really enjoyed Lemon Fish, Fahrenheit and Flora. Drinks and food in these restaurants were delicious, however the other restaurants were not on the same level.|Most of the grounds are drenched in music all day long. The main pool area is only quiet and relaxing in the morning and even in the other areas there are speakers with music everywhere. I find that unnecessary and rather enjoy bird and nature sounds. We opted for the quiet pool area to escape that.

What a wonderful and relaxing experience. Each morning I had breakfast at the Hadar restaurant, Rolando, Ernesto and Julio were amazing. Rolando took care of me each day I was there and made sure he introduced me to Ernesto who took care of me when Rolando was out. I had great Grapefruit Mimosas daily with breakfast. The Habachi and Sushi restaurant was so delicious. The tacos were great as well. My room was beautiful and was cleaned daily. The foam party at the pool was so much fun. This place has set the bar for vacationing. They say the Coatis are friendly but I stayed clear. Overall Im going back to enjoy this experience again.
