I stayed here while driving between Gibraltar and Granada. It was a great stopover point. ||This hotel has beautiful grounds, and a lovely view over the adjacent valley. It's also a very comfortable hotel. The room had nice wood flooring, a good seating area with two chairs, good storage, and it was very quiet. There is lots of free parking.||Breakfast was very good, with a wonderful view of the valley below from the breakfast room. ||Reception was welcoming and helpful. On the morning of departure, when the person on reception heard that I was visiting nearby El Torcal, he got out a small map and marked the route out of the town, and which highway to take to El Torcal. ||I definitely would stay here again if I was in the area.

Easy to get to this modern, comfortable Parador by bus from Malaga although there’s plenty of parking if you travel by car. Situated outside the town but in easy walking distance . There’s a great view over the countryside from the large windows in the restaurant. Superb food offering regional dishes and locally sourced produce. Helpful, friendly staff, comfortable rooms decorated in contemporary style. Stayed here before about 15 years ago and was glad to have the opportunity to visit again.

Junior Suite. 2 night stay.|Check-in was easy and helpful with direction for the town and restaurants.|Comfortable room, and being a suite plenty of room.Quiet, and we slept well. Pool area looked quite nice, but not in use in January.|Location is excellent to explore the interesting old town of Antequera. Plenty of free parking.|This is a modern Parador so we were a bit biased as we like the old traditional buildings that they are usually in, but we did find the Bar / Cafeteria area a bit soulless. Didn't eat there, preferring the selection of decent restaurants in the town.

This is a beautiful hotel within walking distance of the historical center of Antequera. The junior suites are amazing. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is helpful but not as enthousiastic as in other hotels we have visited in the region. We will be back.

Great place like every single "parador" I have been. Big and clean rooms, super nice and friendly staff and the best is its garden with the playground for the kids. Really chilled, if you want to relax this is a great place.

We booked three days halfboard. Very poor quality of restaurant/dinner. Rooms comfort OK. No reaction off staff when mentioning their kitchen problems. No value for money for the F&B.

A beautiful modern parador. Rooms look over the plains and surround a very attractive pool.||The restaurant is very good offering a range of inventive dishes.||Ideally located for exploring Antequera, or as a base to visit Cordoba, Granada, even Seville or Ronda, none of which are too far away. And there is also the small but stunning national park at El Torcal.||We stayed two nights in a super junior suite - but wished we had booked for longer.

We had a fantastic overnight stay at the Parador de Antequera. We received a lovely warm welcome from Angostina on reception who was very friendly and helpful. Our junior suite was amazing, it was huge and had fantastic amenities!! The hotel location was perfect. Very close walking distance to the bars and restaurants, but set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views. The breakfast was fantastic, a plentiful buffet plus a la carte eggs, omelette etc. We highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break in beautiful Antequera.
