We visited this Pardor with a friend, and were booked into 2 Junior Suites. The initial impression of the Parador was good, positioned close to the historic part of the town, with a good carpark and looking clean and well cared for. We arrived at about 1.30pm and were told that only one of our rooms was ready, the other would be available in about 10 minutes. No real problem with that so we went for some lunch. On returning to reception at about 3pm the second room was still not available, and did not become so until about 3.30pm. We did not think this was acceptable at all.||The room was very impressive. Nicely furnished, with a huge bed, a good sized lounge area, an amzing amount of sotrgae space and a nice terrace. The bathroom was enormous, with a double sized jacuzzie bath which frankly was a bit of overkill. However, the shower was pretty grim - a narrow cubicle, with a hand-held type shower head, and a spiggot sticking os far out of the wall as to be difficult to avoid. The bathroom hand basins were very shallow, and took forever to drain.||The pool area was very pleasant, with plenty of sun loungers, but the pool was very much a "swimmers" pool with the minimum depth being 1.40 metres.||The breakfast service was OK, but service was rather slow, and the cooked food was not as good as I would have expected. I have never seen anything quite like the scambled eggs our friend was served up.

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was spacious. The bar was excellent and we ate there both nights - superb avocado and asparagus sandwiches! Lola, our server, was very friendly and attentive. |The pool was lovely and a good size with plenty of sunbeds available. Just the usual complaint of restrictive opening hours so we couldn’t swim before breakfast. |Breakfast was good but the service a little patchy. We ordered our eggs but they were a long time coming and were lukewarm so we assume they’d been cooked and them left aside. |It was easy to walk into the city (ten minutes) and it was a beautiful place, especially the castle.

A beautiful hotel, very luxurious, our bedroom was huge, the bathroom very clean and modern. The bar was very relaxing.it has a good-sized swimming pool with lots of sunbeds. Most of the staff were attentive, but as with many Paradores, there's a lack of training. The food in the cafe was delicious.

This is a lovely relaxing modern designed parador. We have just returned after a 5 day stay and would return ii an instant. The rooms are large with wonderful views. The breakfast suits all tastes and the evening meal was so good on the first night that we decided to go half board for the rest of the holiday. What really makes this hotel special are the staff, from the lady who cleaned our room to the head waiter and his very friendly staff.|Incidentally, the bus stop to Malaga is just a short walk from the hotel and is direct there in one hour.

The hotel was chosen by AHI Travel for our 7-night stay. Our room had a king bed that was actually two beds pushed together. The mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was included each day, and the group had a few dinners here. Rooms were cleaned early by an efficient cleaning staff. The swimming pool was very nice and great for a hot afternoon swim. Desk personnel were officious; we didn't need much assistance as our Tour Director handled most of the details.||The drawbacks: Breakfast was continually understaffed, especially when most of our group turned up at the opening to have time to eat before departing on our day trip. We tried to get lunch at 12:30 one day and nobody was working the cafeteria; we had to go to the front desk to find when someone was going to show up (just past 1). The computer in the business center had an error message on the screen - we wanted to check in for the next day's flights - and nobody knew how to fix it.

Stayed two nights to visit Antequera. Junior Suite was large and suited us. Air Con wouldn’t work and we had to eventually get help. Turned out it was switched off in the fuse box. Really it should have been on when we arrived as very hot. There were a few tea bags left but no English breakfast. Lucky we had brought some. Couldn’t get the hot tub to work but didn’t ask for help as wasn’t really bothered to use it. Maybe also switched off. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Long wait in breakfast room to be seated and all seemed a bit hit and miss in there. Not very professional. Our bed was very comfortable with lovely linen and big towels in bathroom. Powerful shower which we almost flooded the bathroom with as the nozzle was pointing out the first time. Nice products in bathroom. We ate dinner out in the town as only a short walk. Mar de Gloria was excellent and Mason Adarve was quirky and good. Convenient place to stay and nearly forgot, a lovely pool, bit chilly but soon used to it. Quiet and peaceful. Thank you.

We had a very pleasant week staying in this parador. It was comfortable and the staff were pleasant. There were some slight delays in being served at breakfast which was mildly irritating. It's the first time we have left a parador after a week without a small gift of some description like the oil and honey we have had in other paradors in Andalucia.

In a great location for walking into the town. Quiet location with beautiful views. Modern, very comfortable rooms.||Some of the staff need a bit of training to provide the service expected of a Parador. All the others were excellent.
