This is definitely in a perfect location. If you enjoy stargazing, just step outside at night, and you'll be treated to an amazing view of the night sky. The food is also impressive, especially considering the high altitude and the fact that it’s on a tiny island—so no complaints there. However, when it comes to rating, it’s about comparing the food and overall experience to other places. I’ve been to better, but not in a setting as unique as this. As a stargazing enthusiast myself, I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend the place.

The room was comfortable, with a cozy bed and all the necessary amenities. The reception staff were great , and we are very grateful to them for allowing us to leave our belongings before check-in. The views, of course, were incredible, as the hotel is located in a picturesque area. There is also an indoor pool with views of the Teide. At the same time, we spent the night in the company of cockroaches, which, in my opinion, is absolutely unacceptable in a hotel where room prices start at $140. We informed the reception about this, and when we asked if any compensation was possible, they smiled at us and said that it was not possible.

Exceptional stay! The hotel offered a good location in the mountains. The room was spotless, spacious, and elegantly designed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast buffet was a highlight with diverse options. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

We went during the last few weeks of December and were 'lucky' enough to experience the first snow for 2 years. We stayed in room 201 (which i highly recommend) as this has amazing views with a wrap around outdoor balcony.||The hotel is in an amazing location and has the feel of a ski chalet with a lovely fire. ||The staff were very good and the food lovely. As we were snowed in when we woke up there were few staff to help with breakfast and we had only cold food but the staff did their best and should be commended. It was truly magical to be on the mountain when there were no other visitors allowed up.||The pool was lovely as well

What a lovely stay at this parador. The room, although a bit dated, was really clean and comfortable, nothing to complain. The breakfast exceeded our expectations really - wonderful fresh bread, various kinds of cheese, ham, charcuterie, etc. And the view from the room was just spectacular - in addition to the Mount Teide itself, we could even see the sun set behind the rocks from the other window.

Perfect location. However outdated hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you like a hard bed than you will sleep very well. Cranky and stressed staff. The food is okay, but not very special. The star gazing session was terrible. The man started a fifteen minute talk in fast Spanish, and after that he started a PowerPoint outside, again in Spanish. When I wanted to ask if it was possible to give a short English version of what he had told, I was completely ignored. We, and with us two other not Spanish speaking couples left the session early. The sky itself was more than enough, it was magnificent to see so many stars, really great experience. Next time I will definitely visit Teide again, but bring my own tent to sleep outside. The hotel does not contribute to the experience of such a magnificent place.

Besides having an unrivaled location right in the middle of the Teide National Park, this parador lives up to the high standards of the chain. The staff are friendly and well trained, the facilities include an indoor pool and sauna, and the food is high quality and elegantly served. Prices are reasonable despite the fact that there is zero competition. And the dramatic volcanic landscape offers unbeatable surroundings.

If you want to immerse yourself in the Teide region, the Parador is the right place for you. Staff a bit stiff, but you quickly forget that when you're having breakfast with your nose almost against the Teide :-)||Very extensive breakfast with all the trimmings (savory and sweet) and with half board you get a 3-course menu every evening. You can choose anything from the menu and the portions are huge. There is a closed parking lot and various walks depart from the Parador. Next to the Parador is a cafe/bar Los Roques where you can enjoy the sun on the terrace when the weather is nice. Again with a fantastic view!
