Parador de Corias

Great value for money. Hotel is in good condition and looks for some part more like a museum then a hotel. I had a fantastic steak at dinner in the main restaurant so really happy with the food also. There are a pool in the basement it was simple but nice. My only complaint is the bar. We had a drink there before dinner but the room is a bit depressing they should really refurbish and upgrade this area.

The monastery has been beautifully restored with all the modern conveniences. Tranquil corridors. Very spacious rooms with pleasant atmosphere and lighting. Apart from that the staff made all the difference. Friendly , interested in the guests. They attributed very much to make it a memorable stay.

The best place we stayed on our holiday. Fabulous. Wonderful building with super rooms. Great food in the restaurant too. The only downside is that there is no outdoor space to relax and enjoy the sunshine, however there is an indoor pool.

We had a very nice stay at this Parador. I managed to use my points so the stay wasn't too expensive. The only downside was the lights which didn't turn off so I had to turn it off from the mains and also the room was a bit cold.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Located in a small town in the Asturias mountains. Old monastery (actually the third largest monastery in Spain). Tastefully renovated and reasonably priced. Don't miss the library. Also located next to a small winery with some odd varieties that's worth a short visit.

Extraordinary building, amazing spa, fantastic rooms and a stunning restaurant. Great staff, so welcoming and helpful. This was my 1st stay at a Parador and I think I chose one of the best. Wonderfully peaceful, stunning rooms and numerous hidden gems to explore, the food was top class and the service received exceptional, you won’t be disappointed if you book a stay.

Excellent, after two experiences in horrible outdated paradors, I finally found one which lives up to the reputation. Lots to do, spa, pool, historic library, museum, bar, even a concert on the night I stayed. Large comfortable room, modern design and facilities. Friendly staff. What a joy after the two other places, and to add insult to injury, the rate here was much lower although the experience was vastly better

I stayed at the Parador Monasterio de Corias near Cangas del Narcea, Spain on 5/18/2018. It was my 1st time there. It was also the 1st time that I ever stayed in a Monastery. I was traveling with Tauck at the time and they chose the location. It was the 2nd Parador that I stayed in on this trip. A unique experience. Fine staff and service. Plus, I took photos.
