Parador de El Hierro

We spent three days in this hotel early August 2025 with friends. Overall the experience was excellent, and we look forward to returning again another time.||||The superior room is lovely with balcony and sea view. The bathroom is dated however perfectly functional. Bottled water should be included, not charged as an extra.||||The restaurant is good but could perhaps benefit from an overhaul of it's menu, for instance the breakfast eggs choices could benefit from poached as an option, and the omelette choice is non - ham or ham. At dinner there is a lot of choice and we enjoyed a wide variety, however I was disappointed on our lasy night that the "beef tenderloin" which is fillet in English, turned out to be a thin rib-eye cut which was rather underwhelming. Only four menu items are available as half-portions so finding a choice of starters is limiting.||||The service and all staff are good, pleasant and professional. The location is awesome, and we had a wonderful time.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting. Staff were all extremely helpful, rooms were lovely and food was good. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner in the restaurant at night. Lots of seating areas inside and out up take advantage of the magnificent views. Lots of parking and only 20 minutes from the airport.

This parador is so humble and well-embedded in the landscape. The room was elegant and comfortable. The view and the sound of the ocean is mesmerising. The lobby was very cozy. The quality of food in the restaurant was superb. I am 100% satisfied.

Quiet hotel... good experience. Nuce staff. For thes island. Is the best. We miss a swiming pool... of course. Good renovation.

The location is amazing (and yes, pay for the sea view room). This hotel is lovely, the rooms are very comfortable and nothing beats sitting on the balcony, sipping wine and listening to the waves. While the food at the restaurant is quite good, the service does not rise to the level of quality of the rest of this hotel. The staff seems disorganized and it was never clear who was serving our table.

One of the most scenic locations we have ever stayed in (if you like the remote aspect) This place breathes Spanish quality. Super qualitative breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, clean & renovated rooms with very comfortable bathrooms incl. plenty of storage. This place would get a solid 5⭐️ if pool, welness and gym area would have been accessible again (had some ocean damage). (Even though it had been communicated transparently)

We stopped to admire the location (also because of featured in Hierro crime series but not just because of it alone). We had snacks and beers with the breathtaking windy view today.

A bit far from anywhere in the island but idilic for a quite stay... you only hear the ocean's waves... food are good but the most special are the staff who are so friendly...

Great Parador with a wonderful view! Very clean, roomy and love the decor! We were sightseeing around the island and decided to stop in for a bite to eat and a few drinks. We walked in and were immediately greeted. We decided to sit outside in the very comfortable patio area. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered some small plates of food and drinks. Prices were very reasonable and we were treated like royalty. Were able to pay by credit card and again, really like that they bring the credit card machine to the table so you never lose sight of your credit card. Had a great time enjoying the view and company. This parador also hosts weddings, business events and is a very comfortable hotel with a great restaurant. Did I mention the wonderful view? Just breathtaking!!
