It is important to place this review in context:|The Pro’s: the hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, modern and well decorated. The hotel has a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and sauna. There is also excellent on site secure parking. Breakfast was self service and nice.|The cons: we couldn’t get the aircon to work and therefore we were too hot, in fact sweating at night, which meant I did not sleep well. The dinner service was appalling, I was served Iberian ham cut into squares, no salad, no dressing just a plate of ham? There were a choice of salads, 2-3 soups, but main course was either cod and pepper or beef cheek and roast potato, I had beef my partner fish both were bland, poorly seasoned, the roast potato hard and under cooked. The fish cold, there was no hot veggie or vegan option other than soup. The waited forgot my fruit juice, took forever to follow up and ask us to sign so we could leave neither of us could|Tolerate dessert. The dining staff are over worked the poor waitress at breakfast was managing booking, seating, serving and re-laying tables for all 20+ tables. We were charged €86 for dinner, I really don’t expect to be mugged inside a hotel dining room. I would certainly use the hotel again but I would under any circumstances eat there again.

A wonderful location for our travels. The scenery of snow-capped mountains was breathtaking. The town is on the quiet side. The hotel itself was serviced by wonderful, friendly and smiling staff. The car park access is a little challenging being in a one-way street, however the two reception staff were very helpful in guiding me into the parking area.

Very small room even when I booked a superior one for 3 adult people|Third bed was not done when we arrived. Nothing prepared for 3 persons.|In the room still was the fruit from the previos client.|Only one small chair. |Television was on the opposite site from the bed.|Bathroom with bath and not shower.|

Had two rooms, a very large suite and a smaller room for the kids. Both were very clean and comfortable although a little dark. We stayed, as do many others according to a local restaurant owner, as a stopover on our way to Andorra and there is very little to do in the immediate area, especially if you dont have your own transport. ||The town itself is very charming but on our first afternoonevening was literally deserted to the point of being eerie. The restaurant owner we spoke to says its always like that; most people work in Andorra and don't spend time in La Seu d'Urgell other than a couple of months in summer when it gets busier. Its a shame, because the town is pretty and well looked after.||The Hotel is pretty good value for money but there just isn't much reason to be in that area given Andorra is less than 30 minutes away. Having said that, lots of people were checking in whilst we sitting in the impressive lobby area enjoying some snacks and drinks and the generally very good service. If you are in the area and need somewhere to stay it is a good option.

If you want to go walking in the area this is a great place to stay.||The food is good - the rooms are great. I recommend it.

Again another wonderful Parador. Parador de la Seu d'Urgell has a great location in the town centre with motorbike parking in a secure garage (see picture).

Lovely hotel in a great location. Restaurant food was first-rate as was the service from the staff here and in the bar. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and had a great sense of humour. Good breakfast options are available. The rooms were immaculate. I cannot remember the gentleman's name that checked us in on 10/07/24 but he was very welcoming and helpful and gave us great rooms with a terrace. There is secure parking for motorcycles opposite the hotel. We wished we were staying longer. We will definitely return.

This parador is well located in mid pyrenees. The impression is of a large hotel with excellent facilities. We were unable to get a cup of coffee before 11:00 unless we took the full breakfast menu at €25. There are no tea making facilities in the bedrooms. The swimming pool looks very large on the website but is only a square plunge pool about 8m square. Parking is available at €10 per night outdoor or €17 per night covered. You cannot reserve before you arrive. Good restaurant with local food options.

Yelp
Let me start out by saying- the bed is great. The overall feel is of an American 70's hotel. The EV charger is extra - but don't worry- it doesn't work unless your car is from the nineties. There is a Tesla super charger station close- but the hotel staff won't tell you. The WiFi is great- but hounding get a password unless you ask for it. The rooms are a bit outdated. Shower in bathtub. No charging points next to bed. Town is deader than expected. Enjoy
