Parador de Ronda is nearly flawless. From the moment you step into reception, you're treated like a VIP. The room and views are stunning, and the attention to detail is remarkable—even the lotion and hand soap bottles include Braille for visually impaired guests. The thick walls and doors ensure excellent sound insulation, making the room exceptionally quiet. Dinner and breakfast were delightful, and service throughout was impeccable. The location itself is breathtaking, perched above dramatic cliffs with panoramic views. The only drawback: due to the building’s size and heavy construction, Wi-Fi reception in my room was poor and unreliable. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

The parador is very centrally located right next to the spectacular pointe nueva. It has parking underneath that can be accessed on the level from the lane next to the bull ring. The lift to the carpark was not working most of the time we were there and there was no sign indicating we should use the service lift. So wasn’t until checking out that we were told this.🤷‍♀️ At the moment the outside of the building is undergoing extensive restoration and the walls are covered in nets and scaffolding, there is also a certain level of dust and noise on week days. It’s a minor inconvenience. |The rooms were a little tired, however they had everything you need and the bathroom is large. Comfortable armchairs and balcony overlooking the gorge. We slept well. I’ve freezer in the corridor was a nice touch. Breakfast was not as good as we have had in paradors before. A bit limited and the coffee was not great. However the food at dinner was excellent. Plenty of choice and all very good. Again the dining room furniture & style was a bit dated however it had perfect views of the sunset. Again the bar area next to the restaurant was closed for renovation. Pool was very good, clean and cool. Perfect oasis away from the v busy town. Plenty of sun loungers and terrific views over to the hills. |Great stay, staff all very helpful and professional, perfect location however the interior public spaces and rooms need a bit of upgrading.

I rarely write reviews, but I believe it’s important to raise awareness about what happened during my family’s visit today. We had a confirmed reservation for 1:00 PM and arrived 20 minutes early, fully understanding that we might need to wait. The restaurant staff initially asked us to wait, which was fair. However, what happened next was unacceptable. When the waiter finally approached us, he said that all window tables were full and pointed us toward a table in the middle of the restaurant. As I was trying to understand the situation, he began gesturing toward the door, asking us to leave. I calmly asked to speak with the manager, and only then did he suddenly offer a window table, contradicting what he had said moments earlier. We stepped outside politely to wait for the remaining 20 minutes until our reservation time , we had no intention of leaving. However, immediately after, the waiter shut the door and locked it, right in front of us. That act alone was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. It was only after that moment that we decided to leave. As paying guests who made a proper reservation and behaved respectfully, this experience was deeply disappointing. I hope management looks into this behavior seriously, as it completely undermines the hospitality expected from such a renowned location. The view may be beautiful, but respect and professionalism are what truly define a restaurant.

I have to start with, I was skeptical - usually properties that have the benefit of the best location, lack in everything else. |This property exceeded my expectations in every way. I stayed 2 nights and was absolutely sad to leave. |The location is by far the absolute best if you want "THE best view in town"|The rooms are impeccably clean, fresh, bright and pleasant |The hotel itself is quite nice, the photos online do not do this property any justice at all - it looks so much better in person. |The pool area is lovely too (better than the photos online) |and lastly the two things that i found particularly special: |1- The staff - Encarni - you delivered beyond all expectations and I'm so grateful for your attentive, positive and happy/helpful attitude to ensure I not only got the room I requested but got to see the major points of interest in town, including churros. :) You are what every traveler hopes to find when they arrive at the reception desk of any hotel and more, and I thank you for that. |2- Breakfast on property. I have no idea what the bad reviews are about. Again, Impeccably clean dining room, great selection of hot/cold items for the price and my goodness, the service. 10 out of 10 all around. ||Yes, there's construction going on right now but I was up early to hike up and down the canyon before the tour buses arrived so it didn't interfere with my sleep schedule at all. Also, I always travel with earplugs so the night chatter on the plaza didn't affect me either.|Will ABSOLUTELY come back to this property gladly next time I visit. Kuddos to the staff. It's a gem of a property because of you. |Thank you!

We enjoyed staying in this hotel much! The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful. We are welcomed by the smiley face and joyful greeting. My daughter had lost a toy near reception. Although it was not found at the end, the staff sincerely helped to check in detail. Location is perfect. Room is clean and tidy. We enjoyed staying here a lot would definitely come again in future.

On a recent motorcycle tour of Southern Spain, we had a two-night stay at this wonderful Parador. Located just after the main bridge into Ronda and at the edge of the amazing gorge, the views were fantastic. Our room overlooked the gorge and quite frankly, we could have stayed in the room for our entire time. It was perfect : ). The Parador lobby, hallways, bathrooms and our room were spotless and the restaurant and meals, first class. The entire staff was super friendly. So typical of Spain : ) Visiting Ronda and staying in this Parador will be a wonderful memory for a lifetime. "Me encanta Ronda".

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the service friendly and the restaurant I would definitely recommend for dinner. And our view from the room was amazing overlooking the gorge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay overnight in Ronda.

The scenery and location of this place are absolutely stunning, both day and night. I highly recommend staying here. What touched me the most was the exceptional service, dedication, and warm attitude of the hotel staff. I had accidentally left some clothes in my room before moving on to a hotel in Barcelona, and they kindly shipped them to me without any issues, ensuring my trip went smoothly. I am deeply grateful for their unforgettable kindness — it’s a service I will remember for the rest of my life. If I ever visit Ronda again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Yelp
Amazing Views! Great location right between old and new ronda. Expectations: hotel room may need to include hotel sandals, improved blow dryer for her, and cleaner drinking glass. Breakfast time: looks like lots of tour groups , during breakfast time & it is understaffed, because "pandemic" right? 500 euros per night for a decent room. Thanks for reading and happy travels!

Yelp
Expectations crushed to the rock bottom... This was one of the best hotels we booked for our entire Spain trip. However, falls extremely short compared to its price and the name. CUSTOMER SERVICE: - This is VERY important when it comes to hotels. I expect to be taken care of to their capability with whatever needs the guests have. - Well, here is my experience & first impression here: We finally arrive at the hotel after a ~2hr drive looking forward to checking in & resting a bit in our rooms. There was no clear sign to the parking lot and the (tiny) front of the hotel seemed to be crowded with other cars. I told my dad I'll run in to ask where the parking lot is. While I went inside to seek help, our car was on standby on a street. The front desk (2 ppl helping) was quite busy helping guests check in. When I saw a pause, I tried to jump in to ask ONE SIMPLE QUESTION about parking. She didn't even bother to look at me and I know she heard me say "excuse me" about 3 times. The guests that were being helped felt sorry for me looking super desperate and tried to get her attention FOR me - how nice of them! But they had a conversation in Spanish that I didn't understand. But from body language I can tell that she was saying that she is going to give them her full attention at the moment. And then again, doesn't even look or recognize me being there at all treating me like a nobody. What in the world??? Like sure, you should give them your full service then, but you can't even tell me that? She could've at least let me know "I'm sorry, I will be right with you after I help these guests." AM I CRAZY? How can she KNOW that I am there and just straight up ignore me? WTF Never have I been treated this way at a 4-star hotel. - She disappeared after helping them so I approached the other desk who answered my question. I hate being humiliated (perhaps for my gender, age, race) so I was still shaking. I told him about my frustration and he apologized for her but I needed to hear it from her. I saw him to talk to his manager about my situation but she did NOTHING. ROOMS: - Feels like a cabin with old wooden furnitures... ew - Apparently hotel view is all up to your luck. You get the bridge view or not. Of course we got the unlucky view because they just hate me for some reason the moment I walked in lol great - Bathrooms are pretty nice with full amenities BREAKFAST: - Complimentary breakfast was included and this added to my list of disappointments here - Coffee was super watered down - Nothing served to your order; all buffet style (not fresh) - Best thing I had this morning was the orange juice ETC: - Parking costs about 8€ - Anyone can come see the bridge from the side of the hotel through a walkway around it - Prime location close to the bridge and all the shops/restaurants - Hotel charges € per phone use I blame myself for setting my expectations too high for this 4-star hotel. I would NOT RECOMMEND staying here for anyone else. As mentioned earlier, the walkway next to the hotel to see the bridge is open to EVERYONE. Simply no need to stay at this specific hotel for its price. Nothing exceptional here whether its the rooms, service, or food - so ask yourselves, why?!

Yelp
We had wonderful experiences staying at the Paradores in Spain thus we decided to book one in Ronda. To our surprise, this hotel is super modern compare to the other ones we stayed, old monastery. We love the decor, super courteous staff and contemporarily decorated. We enjoyed every moment of our stay

Yelp
I don't know what this is about bed bugs and so forth but this hotel has the most incredible view and

Yelp
Most likely you looked at the location of this hotel and thought, "How perfect"! Think again. It's very loud due to the big, heavy wooden doors on the rooms. They slam shut at all hours. My room was on the ground floor and all the noises from passers-by and traffic funneled right in. The bathroom smelled weird and the walls are thin. I could hear dishes rattling below me and carts of dishes going up and down the hallway. No sleep to be had. The breakfast was nice but you pay for it. Plus, it can get swamped by the bus loads of tourists who stay here. Try a different hotel. Trust me.

Yelp
Location, location, location. What a beautiful parador perched on what is one of the prettiest places I have ever been--the gorge at Ronda. Room was really nice and we had a view of the gorge and pool. Staff was good but they seemed short staffed at the front desk at times. Pool was nice, but wasn't heated. Ladders going into pool were loose and my friend hurt her ankle getting out of the pool. Breakfast buffet was really good. Dinner there was disappointing. But overall, as a place to stay, it was good.

Yelp
I traveled to Spain this past week and I wanted to check out the city of Ronda. I came across this hotel online when I was booking my stays and figured it would be a beautiful place to stay in the night my significant other and I were exploring Ronda. BIG MISTAKE!!! For beginners, the corridors were dirty as can be. I cant explain how disgusting the rugs on the corridors. Then although the room looked nice at first sight, the beds were two twin sized beds placed side by side. Instead of having a king sized bed, or even a queen sized bed it was two twins placed together. The mattresses were hard as a rock! Then to top the terrible bed experience off, we found little critters on the pillows. Moving on to the bathroom. The shower head and handles were DISGUSTING! At this point I couldn't help but to complain to the front desk about how uncomfortable my room was. The attendants at the front desk asked me if I expected the bathrooms to be extra clean. My response was "OF COURSE I EXPECT THIS TO BE CLEAN! I'M PAYING OVER 500 EUROS FOR THIS ROOM!" I asked to be transferred to another room and that was also impossible. Later that night we tried to go to the hotel bar and after ordering one drink the bartender basically kicked us out of the bar and out to the terrace. My two nights at this hotel were terrible and I advise everyone who is considering this hotel to stay at the hostel across the street. I'm sure you'll get the same room for much less.

Yelp
"We Love Ronda!! Amazing views. Worth every penny!" Reviewed yesterday NEW My wife and I did about 6 cities in Andalucía, and knew we wanted to stay in some of the Paradors. We are so glad we stayed here. The views are breath-taking! The rooms and décor are lovely and clean. The town is right there, and great food is so close. The bull ring is next door (great tour). The front desk was amazing and set up a private tour at a local winery, just a short drive away, Joaquin Fernandez Winery. It was fantastic and is the largest Organic wine producer in Andalucía. Thank you for your service. We'll be back!

Yelp
It's really a tad overpriced for a small-ish room in Spain. But(!) the view is so spectacular from the room on the canyon side of the hotel that I was very happy sitting on the balcony. During the day, birds soar right off the balcony. At night, bats do the same. It's a fairly exciting stay, really. In fact, I don't think it would be worth the cost *unless* you were in a room with a canyon or bridge view. If you have to stay street-side, save the money and stay somewhere more affordable in town. The old town of Ronda is magnificent!

Yelp
It is way more expensive than other hotels in the area as well as in Andalusia so we had high expectations. We are so disappointed we spent our money on this place. The only good thing about it is the location. It is central to all sights. It is of course known for being right by the bridge but the views are nothing special. In fact, views from other places are much better. Because this hotel is right next to the bridge, the vantage point is mediocre for views. You need to be much further above, or far away from the bridge to get a good view, neither of which this hotel has. Then, the hotel is very old and run down. Furniture is dirty. Creaky beds. Creaky, scratched up, old wooden floors. Stains throughout the bathroom. Broken hair dryer. Staff was not helpful (except for the one lady who checked us in). Not worth the money at all.

Yelp
Great location! But design very modern, not the feel of a parador. Very uncomfortable couch in room. Design must be b a male! Makeup mirror posted where you have no light over toilet! Great breakfast spread, but rarely any staff in dining room! It must have been filled with at least 75 guests. I actually went into the kitchen to find a waiter just standing there to ask for more coffee! Dinner was disappointing.

Yelp
Great location and view, cant say anything about the rooms even though judging from the rest of the hotel they must be nice. The restaurant on the other hand is not very recomendable. The food is alright, fair enough, but for the quality it is too expensive. You could argue that the view makes up the disproportionate costs. The waiters are not very friendly, too. In fact, except for the chief waiter, no one bothered to smile. They hurried around with such a frown on their face, that it severly disturbed the armosphere.

Yelp
It's not a luxury hotel, but it's nice, updated and clean. You can't beat the location right on the gorge. It's walking distance to everything. We drove and parked our car in their garage which is tiny and narrow, so be careful if you need to park. Our balcony had a nice view of the gorge. We had the breakfast which was fine. Of the few hotels I saw in town, it looked like the Parador de Ronda was probably the best one, unless you stay outside of Ronda.

Yelp
Great location. We stopped in to get some refreshments but they were not open due to siesta. We were still able to warm up, rest in the lobby and get directions to another place we wanted to go from the friendly concierge. The decoration in this parador is very modern compared to another one I went to in Spain.
