Breakfast was , as usual, for a Parador, varied and very tasty. Did not eat lunch/dinner as it was too expensive. We were given a disabled room, no idea why, adequate but sparse, probably to accommodate wheelchair. Mirrors low level. 10/15 min walk, downhill to old town. Had a great meal there. View from room beautiful.

A very bland hotel. We rented a suite, and it felt like it was done 15 years ago. View was of the road, which was very annoying, as basically the rest of hotel was facing the city and the view! Barely any parking near hotel, had to park in time restricted area; Tesla supercharger was also not working, which is pain in A. Breakfast was nice, staff very friendly. Hotel generally felt big, empty and unfriendly. Would not choose it again

This is a very good, solid Parador. It's housed in a modern building which serves its purpose well, and the room was a good size, very clean and fairly comfortable. It came with the usual range of basic amenities one would expect from a Parador. ||The welcome to the hotel was first class, and the staff on reception could not have been more friendly and helpful. ||I also really liked the bar area, which had lovely views across the countryside and was extremely efficiently run by a professional who took pride in his work. ||The grounds were also nice to wander around, and to soak up some of the atmosphere, with nice views across the town and some interesting history attached to the ruins of the castle in which the hotel sits. ||The restaurant was decent and service was good.

The approach by car climbs and circles around, eventually emerging on to the top of the hill that the Parador shares with remains of a castle and a swimming pool. Parking was easy, near to the front door, and the welcome by Reception staff exemplary. Our room was lovely, with astonishing views across the rooftops of Soria and onwards over the Duero river towards the Parque Natural Sierra de Cebollera. Our room included an enclosed balcony room, a feature we have not enjoyed previously.|We stayed just one night and would happily return.

A very pleasant more modern parador, in a lovely location high above Soria. Friendly staff. Our standard room was large, with some lovely views down to the Douro river. Unlike some paradors, the cafeteria only opens during the same hours as the restaurant, but reception omitted to tell us this, despite us telling them (in Spanish) that we hadn’t been able to stop for food during the day, and were looking for something to eat as soon as possible (They did apologise for this later). Had we known at the time we would have been able to walk down to Soria for some sustenance as we weren’t able to have a meal late that evening. Consequently were were keen on having breakfast, which was of the usual high parador standard. The restaurant operates a time slot basis for breakfast, but of necessity ours was as early as possible, so we had a tranquil and positive start to the day.

The Parador de Soria is a modern, purpose built hotel that opened in 2005. We spent one night and had easy parking. We had a superior double king room and it was huge. Large sitting area with a sofa and two arm chairs. The bed was comfortable. And the bathroom was palatial, with double sinks, tub/shower and also a separate shower. ||We ate dinner in the dining room and it was good (opens at 8:30pm). We had lamb and beef. Well prepared and presented. You must book your breakfast time in advance, and we had the breakfast buffet for 18 Euro per person. I should have simply booked it with the room rate but I couldn’t find a way on the booking tool. ||All in all a good stay. Not a tourist hub, but on our way so good stopping point for us.

Parador is on top of a hill overlooking the town with excellent views. Staff are very welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful. Very relaxing stay with spacious room and covered terrace.

Superb hilltop hotel short walk to city center. Fantastic views. Very correct, unobtrusive service, excellent regional cuisine. Close to great walks along the Duero river and the Numancia archaeological site. A memorable and romantic stay for us as a couple. Will definitely go back!
