We stayed in room 311 on a cool night in April. The Parador is gorgeous. We loved our private balcony with table and chairs, overlooking the pool and the beautiful city of Toledo below.
Parking is easy and free. There's a big lot.
Our room was gorgeous. Huge and spacious with a tiled floor and a four-poster bed.
Like many European hotel rooms, you need to insert your key card into a slot to provide electricity. For whatever reason, this stopped working in the middle of the night. The next morning, we had no electricity to most outlets. Zero light in the bathroom. I suppose we could have asked the front desk, but they were pretty surly upon check-in and we were leaving after the one night anyway.
Electricity issue aside, I loved our room. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, and there was only one pillow per person, but the size of the room was a total surprise. Had the weather been nicer, I might have spent the whole day just writing on the balcony. You cannot beat the view here.
Side note: There was a safe in our room, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. It didn't have a keypad. It had a thing to read a credit card or something. But my credit card wouldn't lock it. Our room card didn't activate it. Total head-scratcher.
One small issue is that our room was at the end of several corridors that had random 3-step staircases. That's fine if you're able-bodied, but it was a pain every time I had to hoist our suitcases up and down a pointless set of stairs.
One significant downside to the parador is that you need a car to get into Toledo. You could take a taxi or take your life into your hands by trying to weave the incredibly narrow streets (not recommended). Google maps said it was something like a 48-minute walk to get into the city, so take that into consideration.
