Parador Guánica 1929

If you’re looking for a good place to stay at a decent price this is the best place. As for family all ages we had a great time either in the pool or near by beaches and the restaurant the excellent atmosphere, attention and hospitality the various options of food. If you enjoy playing dominoes or basketball or just relaxing there’s something for everyone.

My stay at the Parador was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit. The restaurant offered great food, with delicious options that exceeded our expectations. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it!

Honestly for the price of the place there really is little you should complain about. (but we all do anyway lol) |The rooms are kept super clean, as is the pool area, and the majority of the staff are very friendly. |Bed was extremely comfortable, and there was a fridge and microwave in the room.|I wish the wifi would have been better though, a 2 week business trip with zero wifi in the room was a nightmare. I had to sit outside to get any signal and then i was eaten alive by the mosquitos.|Also would have been nice to have a beer on tap at the bar rather than just bottles, but that's just my preference i guess. |Food was ok, nothing special.|I would definitely recommend Guanica 1929.

I have a somewhat mixed review of this place. The rooms are small and somewhat antiquated. Probably too small for a person with a wheel chair. The air-conditioning was fine, except it blew right across the bed. The bed was OK at best. The food was fine but was nothing to write home about. On the other hand, the hotel is beautiful right out of a history book, as were the spacious grounds. There were plenty of areas for children to play. The pool was well taken care of and a perfect temperature. The surrounding area was peaceful and senic. The food was fine and very reasonably priced, especially after spending a few days in San Juan. I definitely recommend it for those willing to trade off a little luxury for a otherwise very pleasant experience

Everything was awesome, this was my third time staying with them, and it is always a pleasure. I give them 10/10.

I was blown away by the customer service. The check-in and check-out processes were very efficient and friendly. The restaurant staff was on point! They tended to our large group of 10 with such grace and efficiency. The servers were very friendly and attentive: they double-checked orders, served quickly, and cleared our plates soon as we were finished. All with bright smiles and great energy!

Beautiful colonial style building, it looks well taken care of, the swimming pool and its area is fantastic, brand new. Nevertheless, there was no one at the reception when we arrived, we called the number and could hear and see their mobile phone ringing on the desk...We waited but then had to leave because we had an activity starting at la Parguera. No one ever returned our call until 2 hours later that we came back...The lady at the reception was not the nicest nor the most understandable but was ok. The room is clean but very small and looks fairly old, a remodel would look perfect. The view over the ocean is great, but you can see some plants/industries with large chimneys all around so it's too bad...
