Stunning property, an 18th or 19th century Spanish style mansion converted to a boutique hotel. It’s just a couple of blocks from the main square. ||The guest rooms surround open tiled courtyards on three levels. The hotel is full of period piece furniture & ornaments. ||The two most outstanding part of the hotel is the main restaurant in the basement which is like a large wine cellar / museum exquisitely furnished. The food on offer is also very good quality. And the other outstanding feature is the cocktail bar on the roof with 360 degree views around Sucre but it’s quite a climb up. ||Sadly the guest rooms do not live up to the rest of the hotel. The rooms are large but pretty average in finishes & comfort. Could well do with a makeover. The bathroom with a bath / shower is out of the 80’s although the shower has plenty of hot water. ||Breakfast on offer is also pretty average with a small selection of hot & cold dishes including an omelette station. ||However it is well worth staying here for its convenient location & to just to enjoy the overall property.

Nice Colonial Style Hotel. They have good location too near centre of the City. The Staff and the owner are so kind and always ready to serve you. They have good taste Dinner too in their Basement. Rooms and Toilet are clean but sometimes our Privacy is difficult to be Kept. The main Door and Windows in the room is difficult to be Closed tight. You can still see what happens in the room from outside by peeping.

Unquestionably the nicest hotel in Sucre and located one block from the main square. Hands down the best in town. It has an incredibly beautiful interior as you would expect from a UNESCO World Heritage site and it is constantly being rehabilitated and upgraded. The cellar bar is only exceeded by the rooftop bar that provides incredible views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Sunset at the rooftop bar is a local favorite. Breakfasts and guest services are what you would expect from a 5 star hotel and doesn't disappoint.

Stayed here as part of a tour group. It is a beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of the city with a rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Rooms look over courtyards and are nicely appointed. Wifi is available throughout the hotel and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is nice but ordering an omelet takes time.||Our room had issues: when you first entered the smell of chemicals is almost overwhelming. The door would only open with a key, the door handle just turned. The room was cold and we had to ask for extra blankets. Also the room was not noise proof, with people passing just outside the door were easily heard into the evening.||A very nicely appointed hotel but needs some improvements.

Beautiful old hotel in the heart of Sucre. Staff was lovely and they let me into my generously proportioned room early! Breakfast was average but the made to order omelette was delicious. Extra plus, the mini fridge was larger than normal so if you stay for a few days there is room to actually keep stuff in it. Only negative was that the room had a bit of a funny smell but I think it may have been from the beautiful antique furnishings.

We had a master suite which was huge! Everywhere is filled with paintings and antiques. The cellar restaurant is very grand with an excellent menu and wine list although wines are not priced. The roof top bar has wonderful views, lots of cocktails, good menu and service plus you can reserve a table here as well as in the formal restaurant. Staff were very helpful and laundry was returned on the day we put it in. Good hot and cold breakfast buffet. Just a couple of things: the bathroom could really do with modernising the shower, and oddly for a 5 star hotel there were no bathrobes, slippers or hair dryer. Maybe I could have asked for a hairdryer.

Came in on the overnight bus at 8am had to pay half the room rate to check in early included a mediocre breakfast, most food on the table disappeared very quick and was not replaced until too late. The room smells awful. The noise bounces around the courtyard

Fabulous hotel which is close to the centre and has many historic details. The room was really warm and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room and there was plenty of choice. I really enjoyed the rooftop terrace - great cocktails and food.
