One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had
Staying at Paradores Cruz de Tejeda was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The most shocking part was the incredibly rude and aggressive staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The employees genuinely seemed annoyed by the mere fact that guests existed, as if serving customers was an unbearable inconvenience.
The rooms were worn down, outdated, and poorly cleaned. Dust, tired furniture, and a general feeling of neglect made the stay anything but comfortable. For a hotel that claims a certain standard, this was completely unacceptable.
Dinner was another low point. The food was low quality, bland, and poorly prepared, and the hostile attitude of the restaurant staff made the experience even worse. Instead of trying to improve the situation, their aggressive behavior only added to the frustration.
Breakfast was the final insult. Despite it being included, the staff didn’t even bother to serve coffee or the hot items promised. There was no initiative, no service mindset, and no care whatsoever.
Overall, this hotel feels badly managed, staffed with the wrong people, and completely indifferent to guest satisfaction. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere unless you enjoy being treated badly and paying for it.
