This Cretan concept taverna was based on the old belief that when hungry you would eat what was prepared and nothing else. Here, there are no menus. Only plates start arriving to your delight. Salad, snails (a Cretan delicacy), beef in tomato, roasted rabbit, cheese pies, hamburgers, pork stew, broad beans with tomato, scrambled eggs and squash, and special Cretan Wedding Pilafi. Go hungry and ready to socialize because the owner will stop over and sit for awhile.

Very delicious traditional Cretan food in good portions and fair prices! Not all the dishes on their menu that is on their website are always available and there is no menu in the restaurant, but staff is really friendly and helpful when you need to decide what to get. Of course, no menu means no prices shown, but ask and they will give you all the information you might need. In the end, they treat you to a variety of desserts!

It is a dream for restaurants reviewser. We was on a breakfast. No tourists this hours. 11am. Local old man’s play cards and speak loud. Madam was very nice and kind. Everything was fresh and super healthy. Only local food. No menu. Just breakfast - eggs with olive oil, cake local, 2 types of cheese, bread, honey. Wonderful. 😊 even Chef 👨🏻‍🍳 come to use and carrying some stuff say hello and was grateful we eat everything. One of the best things I experienced in my life.

A fantastic experience. You sit down and they feed you according to your dietary needs. Service was friendly and they were happy to tell us about the food. The flavours were great. You will not need to eat for the rest of the day. 25 euros for at least 8 dishes.

Two words are just needed to describe this place. Absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, we felt very welcomed. This place is all about giving its visitors the opportunity to taste authentic cretan food. I personally feel that the lack of a set menu (each day they have different dishes) and the fact that the waiters themselves decide which plates to serve to you (of course you are given the opportunity to denote if you don’t eat something) give a family-like vibe and let you taste unique flavors that you might miss in an ordinary restaurant.

I would like to taste local foods, we went there with the suggestion of the hotel where we stayed in. I really like the soft lamb that I ordered and atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. Thanks all👌🏻

We visited the restaurant twice and we were amazed by the great personnel, the quality of the food, the tastes that they offer and the welcomenes that we experienced. It is a must if you are around with a very clean and cool yard to sit during hot August days. Thanks to Sifi's team everything was awesome. Till the next time...thank you all.

Great Cretan atmosphere, friendly service and wonderful dishes, at very decent prices. We chose the tasting menu advertised by the waiter, with some drinks. The food is quite varied and you may change dishes if you wish. Very tasty, of course.
