The 12 Best Things to Do in Miami (Updated 2025)

"Situated in Wynwood, the Paradox Museum is a quirky, interactive museum of optical illusions that I found to be a fun, family-friendly experience and a good activity to do with kids (tickets are $30 USD)." - Matthew Kepnes

Really enjoyed myself here. Very well thought out place. The exhibit were fun and definitely picture worthy. Its about 20min out from south beach MIA. Customer service was great. There was an attendant who helped take pictures if you didn't have extra hands. The booking process was easy. If your looking to do something to get away from the on and off rain. Try this.

Google
It was an enjoyable experience I would only wish that I had more time and that there was more staff available to direct with picture taking. There were some areas we just did not know what to do or show to maximize the effect! Overall I had a good time and would love to go back and also visit other locations to see other exhibits? The staff was genuinely nice and helpful when available and the place was bright and clean and the traffic was organized and flowed smoothly and parking was about $4 for an hour! Not bad at all!

Google
Absolutely incredible, loved this place!! 😍😍 The lot nearby was expensive ($25 I think) so we found street parking instead. Paid for two hours ($8) but only took us an hour and 15 or so to go through everything - just for planning sake :) (although we could have spent more time or done another loop for sure, could have stayed at the piano for an hour alone! just that there was a group of kids behind us so we tried to be polite and keep moving stations) Great place!

Amazing Experience at Paradox Museum Miami! We had a wonderful time at the Paradox Museum Miami! From start to finish, it was a fun and memorable experience for the whole family. The museum is packed with mind-bending attractions, optical illusions, and interactive exhibits that really make you think and laugh at the same time. Every room offered something exciting and unique — perfect for taking cool photos and making great memories together. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone was having fun. If you’re looking for something fun and different to do in Miami, this is definitely it! Prepare to enjoy with the family, because there’s so much to see and do. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun day out!

The Paradox Museum in Miami is an immersive and mind-bending experience that captivates visitors with optical illusions, interactive exhibits, and clever displays that challenge perception and logic. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by a series of rooms designed to distort reality—hallways that appear to tilt, rooms where gravity seems to shift, and mirrors that play tricks on your reflection. Each exhibit is thoughtfully crafted to engage the senses, making it both entertaining and educational for visitors of all ages. It’s ideal for families, groups of friends, or anyone who loves puzzles, photography, and unique experiences, as nearly every corner offers a fun photo opportunity. While the museum is relatively small, the creativity, interactive nature, and “wow” factor make it a must-visit spot for those looking for a fun, Instagram-worthy adventure in Miami.

Google
“I had such a blast at the [Illusion Museum / Attraction Name] in Miami! From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a world where reality bends and imagination takes over. The exhibits were not only creative but also interactive, which made it even more fun to capture the perfect photos. Looking back at my pictures, my expressions say it all—shock, laughter, curiosity, and pure joy! Every corner had something new and mind-bending, and it was impossible not to get caught up in the fun. This spot is perfect whether you’re with friends, family, or just exploring on your own. It’s entertaining, Instagram-worthy, and definitely one of those experiences that keeps you smiling long after you leave. Highly recommend if you’re in Miami and want something playful and different!”

Google
Fun experience, worth a visit , but better crowd control needed The museum is cool, spacious, interactive, and perfect for fun photos. It’s a very entertaining and family-friendly activity. Tickets are $28 for adults and $26 for kids, which is reasonable for what you get. We went on a Sunday and it took us about 2 hours to go through the whole experience, even though we skipped two exhibits due to long lines. Although you book tickets in specific time slots, you still have to wait in line for several installations. It would be great if they improved crowd management to avoid congestion and long waits. That said, it’s definitely worth a visit, a very fun and unique plan, especially if you go on a weekday when it’s probably less busy.

Google
My cousin and I had so much fun! It's definitely loads of value for your money, a ton of exciting and fun areas for interactions and so many photo ops as well. The staff are so geeked to help you navigate each experience and capture each moment for you. It's a must do activity if you're in Miami!

Claudia J.

Yelp
We had so much fun! The venue is small, but it still took us nearly two hours to enjoy everything--taking tons of pictures, chatting, and laughing together. The staff was super friendly and helpful, offering great tips for taking the best photos and even helping us snap a few group shots. One great perk: you're allowed to re-enter as many times as you like--someone in our group actually went through the exhibition three times! Two quick tips: Parking - It's cheaper if you park at the Strata garage, as they offer ticket validation. I parked on the street, and it ended up being more expensive. Restroom - It's located in the middle of the exhibition. If you need to use it before starting, a staff member can escort you through. It would be more convenient if it were near the entrance, but that's just a heads-up, not a complaint. We had a blast visiting! It's a great experience for the whole family.

Yelp
This was one of the worst 'museums' we've ever been to. A quarter of the way through I was regretting that I recommended to my family that we come here and wanted to just leave. The space did not feel as if any thought had been put into the ambience, and it felt like a series of intents of photo ops but had no substance. In the heat of South Florida the space was poorly air, conditioned, and musty. The only positive was the staff who's incredibly friendly and helpful and offers to take your photographs. It was such a disappointing experience, especially since the façade with the gift shop upon arrival makes it look like it might be something that's actually good. Save your money and don't waste your time.

Yelp
Spent 2 hours 30 minutes here. A little pricey for something that takes most about 1 hr 30 m. Discount offered for Florida residents and a few other categories (although none for seniors). Employees were present and extremely helpful throughout the exhibits. They explain what you should do to fully grasp what you are viewing and were very helpful taking pictures of the entire group. Most of the exhibits were fully functional. A few at the start have plaques where the writing has been worn off by people touching them and should be replaced. Most of the exhibits had QR codes that better explained the science. There were just a couple duplicative exhibits that were broken. Overall a fun experience. Be prepared to pay for parking. There are a small number of mobile pay parking spots on the side and back of the property. Street parking around this area is available using the same mobile parking app. Think we paid less than $10 after adding a couple hours to our initial. You can easily extend on the non-affiliated parking app. Tip: Walking distance to Wynwood Walls. So many gorgeous building murals to view for free. Some shopping and many restaurants and bars to choose from. In February 2025 exploring this area is considered a top ten thing to do in Miami. The marketplace is your main target. May as well do it at the same time!

Yelp
We had a lot of fun at this interactive museum in the Wynwood area of Miami. Paradox offers 70 illusion-based exhibits providing great photos ops. There are attendants offering help and taking photos along the way. You walk one way through with the bathrooms half way and a gift shop at the end. I felt some motion sickness and should have taken Dramamine. We spent about an hour and a half there. Tickets are $26 during week and $28 on weekends. There is no parking lot. Paid parking is available in the neighborhood with the PaybyPhone app.

Yelp
Fun and really cool place to enjoy with family or a group of friends. A lot of laughs when we're making selfies.
google avatar

Kellee F.

Yelp
Great family fun for kids of all ages. I have to drop two stars because we waited about 15 minutes for the employee to ring us up at the gift shop & he walked past me twice - even after I gave him a heads up that I was waiting to check out. I ended up leaving my potential purchases on the counter. Other than that, it was awesome!

Yelp
Been wanting to see this place for a while now, the course I teach includes a section on optical illusions and that is basically what this whole museum is about. It was pretty busy on the Sunday afternoon that we went there. The admission is around $26 but I was able to get a teacher discount which saved us a couple of dollars each. You go through rooms with different exhibits and there are signs that explain the different experiences. It is a great place to take really interesting pictures, and it's just fun stuff to see. You will be perplexed and entertained throughout. We spent close to two hours there, looking and experiencing all the exhibits. There are staff members there to answer any questions and to take pictures, so you don't have to worry about asking a stranger to take a picture of your whole party.
google avatar

Yelp
It was the best experience ever! We had so many laughs and 200 million Instagram worthy pics! Great for family friendly summer fun!
google avatar

Siao Z.

Yelp
We spent 1 hour and 30 minutes even though we tried to speed through the museum. I can't believe how mind blowing some of the pictures were. The staff was super friendly and I loved every single one of them! They were so willing to help photograph and explain what to do and how and even show live examples! If they change stuff here and there again, I would come back again for more pictures. It was a fund adventure for us.
google avatar

Kate G.

Yelp
I was really excited to do this museum until I got there. It is way way WAY too overcrowd, they really need to space out guests better. We were unable to do a number of the experiences because it was a literal zoo inside. Out of the 4 employees we encountered only 1 was pleasant, the rest were either uninterested and one was outright rude, rather than explaining the proper way to do one of the exhibits he had walked by and just said "don't break my house!" Without offering any solution on how to get the shot correctly. This place was disappointing but some of the stuff was and would've been really cool.

Yelp
I took 3 teenage boys and it managed to keep their attention for about 45 minutes. I can't complain. I would recommend it for a fun date day idea. It's right in wynwood so you can some good food after.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the Paradox museum. Fun little spot you get to be interactive with. Great photo opportunities as well. Great for adults and kids.
google avatar

Annika D.

Yelp
Fun, but nothing insanely special! Had the opportunity to check out the Paradox Museum with the Yelp elite squad. It was a cute way to spend the afternoon, with fun visual effects. It is mainly built to take photographs, however, rather than an immersive experience. May be good for young kids. I wouldn't say i would pay to experience it.

Yelp
Pros: Fun! Fun! Fun! Great spot to chill out and take great pictures, it's best if you have at least one person to go with, as there are several photo ops that are for 2 or more folks. I went on my own for the yelp private event, but thankfully they had friendly staff ready to help with photos! Cons: Limited street parking, you can park at Strata next door, it's $5 for the first hour and $3 thereafter, a little pricier than street parking, but better than walking a few blocks at night. 10/10, would like to return with a loved one!
google avatar

Rikka B.

Yelp
Had a super fun time visiting the museum, staff was friendly and ready to help with the photo ops, lots of cool things. Definitely a fun little activity to do while in Miami.

Yelp
Memorial Day 2025! Perfect day at the museum. My family and I had a great time. A hidden gem in the Wynwood community. I used the Memorial Day coupon code. How ever Florida residence get a discount amy way. Some of the things I couldn't do, the Zero Gravity room. I was too confused. My 10 year old granddaughter enjoyed herself. Great pictures and time well spent.
google avatar

Yelp
I saw many videos of the Paradox museum on tiktok and had to swing by and see what it was about. It had so many interactive exhibits and so many places to take pictures. I loved how easy going and accessible the staff were to helping you get your perfect picture. This was defintely a fun experience for people of all ages.
google avatar

Aria I.

Yelp
I'll rate them 5/5 great experiences highly recommend I was greeted as soon as we walked into the place One thing I will say this isn't a one person kind of experience the paintings aren't just hanging on the walls it's more of a two people kind of place so make sure to bring a friend or date to experience this with you lots of art you can be apart of photo set kind of museum* (being apart of the art) I loved the experience
google avatar

Facundo A.

Yelp
You must visit this museum!. Ideal plan for families!. You're going to have a lot phone and take a lot of weird photos! Absolutely recommended!
google avatar

Nancy A.

Yelp
I've had the opportunity to go to this type of the museums before and this one is just a cheap copy. They have some over nighttime events that seem pretty cool. They have a couple of pieces that are fun to take pictures with but realistically, this could be so much better. For sure a one time visit. Parking is pretty hard in the area as it's mostly either expensive valet or street parking.

Yelp
The verdict: SO MUCH FUN! We bought a Groupon deal (General Admission for Adults and Children to Paradox Museum Miami (Up to 27% Off)) that brought the cost down to $22/person but full price (weekdays: $26 adults, $20 children; weekend: $28 adults, $22 children) wasn't much more. I'd say that you get your money's worth. We had timed tickets and had to change the time, so the staff (via e-mail) was accommodating, so we really appreciated the flexibility! Expect to spend about 2 hours here. You touch a lot of communal objects so bring hand sanitizer! The front desk employee was incredibly gregarious and eagerly explained the process. The experience was great! So many different rooms with mind-blowing themes, colors, motions, and illusions that will startle and delight you. In each room, the staff are SUPER engaged and are eager to take photos of you and your group with your phone or nonphone cameras and explain what you're support to see, where to stand, and how to get the most out of each room. I recommend really taking time to read the informative descriptions! We had a blast!
google avatar

Tracey Z.

Yelp
This is such a fun concept and I love how they make science so cool. There are more than 60 cool paradoxical experiences with descriptions for each one. My eyes were overwhelmed and it was insane. The tickets are timed but inside the museum was packed. Quite a few times we had to wait in lines for pictures. The staff make this place so great. They are very eager to help take pictures and explain the illusions. Nobody was slacking and every member was so sweet and helpful. The tickets were $28/each and we spent about an hour here. They have bag check too if you don't want to carry around your stuff. The staff also offered to store our stuff in the office if it didn't fit in the locker.
google avatar

Maria K.

Yelp
We had the opportunity to attend a Yelp Event here and enjoyed going through all the illusions and art. Overall fun spot with lots of little rooms and photo-op spots. It took us about an hour to go through the entire place.
google avatar

Christie D.

Yelp
Great, fun museum for all ages. From grandma to grandkids and everyone in between, my family had a blast. It is highly recommended to reserve a spot, but it makes for an easy flowing experience. For those who love taking pictures, there are plenty of spots that are Instagramable (if that's a word :) :) Plenty of parking around the corner, including a full parking space a little hidden in the back.

Yelp
My family loved it!!!! Super fun and is a great learning experience for the kiddos that they don't even realize they're learning from! Highly recommend! Here's some pics we took of me doing some of the awesome things so ya get an idea.

Yelp

Yelp
100000/10 we recommend! Super fun and interactive!!!!! If you're in the beautiful city of Miami yall should definitely check this place out!

Yelp
The Paradox Museum is worth checking out at least once. While staying in Miami we wanted to do something different. So we decided to check this place out. You can purchase tickets online or in person. We came 30 minutes before our reservation time and they allowed us to come in early. It was definitely photo friendly and I found it great for kids. It was pretty busy and we had to wait a few times to take photos. You do need to take some time to read everything. They said once you go on to the next part you cannot turn back so it takes time. It was worth what we paid for because their elliptical illusion of everything was pretty impressive. We also liked that it was interactive and the staff was very nice and will take photos for you. We husband enjoyed it. Depending on who goes we got unlucky with inconsiderate guest at the end who would take hundreds of photos of their children and themselves and weren't following directions. Staff was limited so no one told them to stop. Also, parking can be tough since it is only limited street parking. We had to circle a few time to finally find parking.

Yelp
Super cool , super fun spot to enjoy and take a ton of great fun pictures. Very educational , creative space to explore. All the exhibits were amazing. The staff were excellent from beginning to end. The staff made sure our experience was amazing. Their a great help with the pictures.

Yelp
In here nothing makes sense, and yet everything is totally real! A space of ultimate creativity and questioning - a must-see, must-experience destination for all ages.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the super cool places in the Miami/Wynwood area. As tourists, I very much stumbled upon this area. I really enjoyed my time here. Definitely spent between 1 to 2 hours here. The staff is amazing and they really help you capture great pictures to make your trip memorable. Top notch experience for the price we paid.
google avatar

Yelp
I knocked off a star solely because the way things started out. When we got to the first major photo opportunity which was the house, many people before us were doing multiple poses and staff were taking pictures. When it was our turn the staff member said we can only take 1 picture. I proceeded to ask her if we could take one picture together and one picture by ourselves and she said no. This was a major disappointment being that you pay per person to enter this museum. I would completely understand if on their website they state there's a maximum of how long you can be in the museum but there isn't any details on the website in regards to how many pictures and how long your allowed in the museum. Some cons- The workout illusion should have had a taller step stool- I was unable to get a picture because I was unable to reach and I'm 5'0. Some of the mirror illusions were dirty but I saw some employees cleaning throughout the exhibit. Next to the tilt room there is a room with mirrors, the staff gives you like 45 seconds to take pictures/ videos then he opens the door to make you switch to the next room. So at times, this museum seemed very rushed depending on the area of the museum you were in. For one specific photo op people were not forming a line to switch rooms, so people were cutting and there wasn't much organization. There were many awesome illusions. The price was fair being that it was in wynwood. An employee named KEVY made the experience well worth it! Kevy was SOOOO helpful when it came to taking pictures and videos for people(going above and beyond), telling us the perfect angles, how to look at the illusions and more! Usually there was one staff member per each major illusion, and kevy was working a couple of them. He truly deserves a raise how hard this man was working. This museum is family friendly, and over 70+ interactive illusions.

Yelp
The Paradox Museum is located in the heart of Wynwood in Miami. We arrived early for our scheduled time, the staff was more than accommodating and allowed us to go in early. We checked in and they provided an overview and the rules. We were offered a complementary locker. Flow through the museum is one way and you cannot turn back. There were multiple rooms with unique exhibits. Each exhibit had a QR code you could scan for additional information. All the staff members I encountered during my visit were amazing, you could tell they really enjoyed their work and their focus was on their guests. Many of them took photos for us and explained the concept behind the displays. The paradox museum is great for friends, families, as well as couples. You can learn something as well as get some fun photos. Pay by app street parking is available all around the museum. I recommend a visit to the Paradox Museum, and then a meal at one of the eclectic restaurants in Wynwood

Yelp
By far, one of the most mind blowing immersive art experiences I've been to in a while! Every exhibit is different and has different tricks it plays on you, and the staff is so helpful and ready to take your pics. I love that all photos has a description to give you a hint of what you're looking and there are also camera stickers on the floor to give you the perfect angle for all illusions. With so many different installations it's hard to keep up. The staff is dressed in white and black jumpsuits so even if there isn't one at your exhibit you can always wave someone down for help and they'll give you the breakdown. The entire exhibit took about an hour and change but you can go at your leisure. Just make sure to get all your good shots because you can't go back and they say, keep moving forward. It's hard to pick a favorite part because they were all so much fun!
google avatar

Yelp
RUN dont walk! Such a fun experience Great for groups, family and date night! Be ready for pictures! Go comfortable so u can pose freely! Must see!
google avatar

Yelp
You will not leave disappointed! Perfect exhibition for the price paid and was able to get a ton of photos. Made the most of every minute as well as making a ton of fun memories with my siblings. Expect to be there for about an hour or so depending on crowd, how many pictures you take, and if you take time to read the educational boards. Very amazing way to learn and have fun while doing so!
google avatar

Mayako N.

Yelp
They had a teacher night! So, I gather a few friends to try this place. We had such a good time. We didn't know what to expect. But every corner you find a friendly staff to guide you. They even help you with taking a best shot. It was not so crowded when we went. But it took us over an hour to go through everything. They don't have a parking but there are plenty street parking and garage as well. Make sure to put money to last at least an hour and half.
google avatar

Ricardo B.

Yelp
Located in trendy Wynwood, this place is a lot of fun! Featuring many interactive exhibits, interesting photo ops and staff that is friendly, knowledgeable and is helpful, what's not to like about it? I would highly recommend to visit during a weekday right as they open though because I can see where it wouldn't be as much fun on a busy day. And once you are done, you can still enjoy yourself walking around Wynwood and snapping even more photos thanks to all the street art, murals and interesting characters and spots around the area. We went on Presidents' Day at 11am and it took us about an hour to go thru it. Make sure your phone is fully charged!

Yelp
Paradox museum was the perfect date idea and I had an awesome time hanging out there! There's so many little niche exhibits and each one keeps you on the edge of your seat! I must say that I had my mind blown quite a few times while I was there. Workers were super helpful and informative at all times and were always around to explain or help you take pictures etc. What an awesome time!

This place is soooo much fun! All the exhibits are so mind blowing and really keeps you entertained the entire time. Also, the staff *round of applause* for how willingly they offer to take photos for you! Truly a great time for all ages to enjoy! 10/10!

Yelp
Came here for a fun work team event starting with the ride down via the Brightline. We saw this place online and decided it would be fun to have our team go through it together. So many good photos to take with eachother and fun to be had!
