Ventured out on a hut trip with a private group; Jimbo and Rachel were our guides for a 2 night stay in late summer hiking and exploring. So fun! They were well prepared, everything was taken care of. Our group felt safe and we could relax and enjoy the scenery, nature and good food with everything taken care of by our amazing guides. They made great decisions, including telling us to wake up early to beat the weather. I will definitely use them again to craft some amazing wilderness adventure. Love you guys; I am so thankful for you and this experience!

We used Paragon Guides to have llamas at our wedding in Vail in July 2025! Nate, the handler, and Stubby and Roberto (the llamas) were a huge hit with our guests. Everyone wanted photos with them! Stubby and Roberto came with bowties (how polite to adhere to the dress code) and Yeti coolers that our venue stocked with drinks. They also did not go to the bathroom during the ~1.5 hours they were at our event! We would absolutely recommend Paragon Guides for all of your llama event needs :)

Booked 2 snowshoe tours. The first with Donny S asked for a nice relaxing not too difficult tour. Donny S is a great guide, very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time. Donny took several pictures with beautiful mountain backgrounds and sent them over to us. My husband then wanted to do a more challenging tour a few days later and Chelsea B did not disappoint. The area Chelsea and my husband snowshoed was not only challenging but absolutely breath taking (pictures). Great tours and experience! Thank you, Donny S and Chelsea B!!

We had a fantastic trip! Jimbo and Dave found the best powder runs and our meals were fantastic! I’ll leave it up to you to figure out which one makes amazing coffee and who plays the harmonica!

Girls weekend in Colorado! Cinthia was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and her llama friends. The lunch and accommodations exceeded our expectations, would definitely do this again! Was the highlight of our trip! It is also family friendly if you have little ones. But they will make accommodations for your group!

Joe…and Roberto and Stubby (the Llamas) showed us a fantastic time today. Joe laid out a feast for lunch and was a fantastic host! Thank you Joe!

He knew the area really well and also catered to our fitness level and equipment (my split board was a bit slower). Henry's knowledge and tips were very helpful. He also shared some cool details and stories about the area. Our first time in the backcountry was perfect, thanks Henry. We will be back!!

I had a wonderful time in the Backcountry with Paragon Guides. Nick, my guide, did a wonderful job teaching, entertaining, and skiing/guiding to my level. This was my first trip into the backcountry to ski, and after this experience, I look forward to many more! If you're looking for a great company and want to get out of the lift lines and ski untouched snow....look no further!!

My husband and I got married in Vail and spent the week out there honeymooning. We were so excited to do a hike with llamas. We had a private tour with our guide Rachel, who was great. She briefed us on the llamas and my husband and I each got one llama to lead on our hike. The views were breathtaking and the llamas were so cute and sweet. When we got to a good spot towards the top of the mountain, Rachel set up our picnic lunch for us along with lawn chairs, that the llamas had carried for us on our hike. She gave us our space so my new husband and I could have a romantic lunch together while enjoying the views. Then we hiked back down and explored a tee pee tent they had and said goodbye to the llamas. The hike was great and not crazy difficult- it was very enjoyable. Thank you Rachel and Paragon Guides for a great day!

We hired paragon for a half-day backcountry snowshoe trek combined with a smaller portion of powder/gladed area snowboarding. It was an enjoyable and memorable experience. Backcountry was new for my wife, and it was 3rd time in backcountry for me. I would not have done what we did without an experienced guide. I did not have a splitboard (so was lugging a 166cm board via helipak), so fair to say our guide was patient and monitored exertion levels (we do not live at colorado altitiude) and paced things appropriately. The experience met our expectations and was fairly priced. I would both recommend and use Paragon again. Thanks!

The Lunch with Llama hike was the highlight of our family vacation to Colorado. Our tour guide, Paul, was incredible. Not only was he extremely informed about llamas and the local environment, but he also made our two kids, 8 and 6, feel extra special during our hike. My son is a huge llama fan, and he was on Cloud 9 the entire day. Interacting with the two llamas was a thrill for our kids, my wife and me! Paul called us the day before to confirm plans and everything went off without a hitch. He brought a very nice picnic lunch of fruit, veggies & hummus, sandwiches, and dessert. We really enjoyed meeting the llamas - this was an incredibly unique experience that we will not soon forget! Highly recommended!

My husband and I did our first backcountry ski tour today with Don. It was amazing. The gear was new/ demo stuff and they took the time to show and explain all of it- we weren't family with touring gear. The day was tailored to what we wanted to learn and ride. We went up Vail pass, skinned up, learn to use a beacon...Everyone there is professional, passionate and helps elevate your experience. We will definitely use them again next year for another tour. I highly recommend them!!
